Well, I decided that I probably will be a while until I go through and make all the references of my characters like I want to, and that having the journal with all the no-links to refs of characters made it almost pointless, so I went thorugh and linked as many characters as I could to older refs of them. It's at least better then nothing. As I make new references I'll edit the journal with the new links.

Also added in some characters that weren't in there before either because they were new since the last time I edited the thread, or were just simply forgotten.

Alright, first off I know asking for commissions for the express purpose of buying fun-stuff is a sorta-selfish thing, but at least I'm being honest about it compared to some people who get commissions making up sob stories and then using the money for something other then what they said they were going to! haha.

I'm finally at a place in my life where my job makes enough money to keep me stable in paying my bills and what not, but that's about as far as the stability goes. I can't really afford anything big on top of that and can only afford to maybe go out to eat or a single game here or there.

So, I am asking you, fine people of FA, to commission me so that I can use the funds I save up from doing art for people to pay for a Wii. I will be forever in your debt for helping me with this.

So...I'm not sure how to say this without sounding weird or something.

My boyfriend, Blue, is almost blind (he sees shapes and few colors, but not very well) and I believe he's told me it's due to him developing cataracts (he's only 21. It just seems so damn young for that.)

He's going to see a doctor to see if it can be fixed (and if he'll be able to get aid to pay for it, since he has no insurance) but there is always the chance that he will not regain his eyesight (his friends and myself as well as him all hope he does get his eyesight back, and I'll keep hoping for that result)

My question is, what jobs are there for blind people? I know there are, and I've been trying to look them up, but haven't had much luck.

I just want to be there for him, and help him not feel like he can't do anything with his life because he's blind now. And it's frustrating that I can't help him more. If I could, I'd give him my eyesight, even if that meant I wouldn't have it anymore. He's a bright, funny, smart guy and it sucks that something like this had to happen to him.

What degree should I get?

this is a serious question, and I'd like serious, helpful answers if possible.

After talking to my mom and realizing that she would allow me to go get an art degree if I want, I now have to figure out WHAT art degree to get.

I know I want to do something along the lines of character designs, production sketches, or even book illustrations. What degree would give me the education/diploma/expertise needed to get into that field?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out with figuring this out. I don't want to mess it up and waste another 2 years in school for something I don't actually want or need.

So, I don't really feel like going into the whole story, but to make it short, my mother has just told me that she has no problem with me actually pursuing an education in an actual art degree. i've always been afraid to ask her because I thought she'd laugh it down, but she surprised me and said she wants met o go after what I am truly wanting.

and I want an art degree.

I know it's hard to get jobs from this degree, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes, move wherever I need, and just put my full 110% into it. And I know I'm not the most amazing artist now, but I think that the rapid increase in my skill in only the past few years shows I have the potential to get better, and art school (or just a school with a really good art program) would really help that.


But I ask all of you, what schools would you suggest. Although, it'd have to be northeast ohio becasue I'm hoping to find one close enough to me so I can live with my parents while I go, because I just can't handle living with strangers again.

If somebody has an art school near them, and wouldn't mind letting a bunny and her pet bunnies move in with them, then maybe I'd consider that too xD

For my vampire realm/storyline.

I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing with it yet. The account will either just have a bunch of art of the characters OR will have art of the characters along with stories or comics. It's kinda a work in progress.

I'm trying to think of a good name for it.

teh main factions of my vampire realm are called the "coven" and the "underground" (yeah yeah, I know, not that highly original, but whatever xp) but I never really came up with a good name of the series in general.

Also, before anyone asks, the vampire realm is a mix-match of humans and non-humans, although most my characters are human-type vampires, but there are a couple scattered fur ones too, just more in the background.

So, I was finally let go at my job (it was a seasonal position, so I knew it was gonna happen) and while I have been trying like made to find another job before I was let go, I haven't found anything yet.

I really need help financially, due to it being January I have a bunch of new stuff to worry about paying (school loans being the big part of it) and having no form of income until I can find a job is really tough.

well, one of my new years resolutions is to not let things affect me the way I do (like, letting mean people hurt my feelings and get to me, or let the stresses in my life take control of it, and stuff like that.)

and after thinking about it and various other factors, I feel a second resolution is needed, which is to lose weight.

the sad thing is, I think I've had this resolution EVERY YEAR and I always, always fail it. And I"m terrified I'll fail it again.

I'm not gonna string a big long line of excuses why it's failed, I know it's my fault, and that it's my responsibility to take control of it and do something about it.

I guess I just don't have enough drive? I don't know.

This chair be so comfy <3 It sits at my desk perfectly, and no uncomfortable pieces jabbing into me. and it has armrests! Granted, they are hard and plastic, but nothing a little bit of a sewing work can't fix. (I love making little cushions and stuff. I even have a cushion I made to put under my wrist when using my mouse so it doesn't get sore.)

although, they left out quite a few things I'm afraid of, like being stuck in a situation where I can't move (not really "small spaces" as much as just a space where I'm completely incapable of moving. So I guess being paralyzed would count.), being completely and utterly alone (although staying single is kinda like a minor version of that), and I'm just generally an overly paranoid person with any relationship I'm in. I'm always afraid someone is talking bad about me behind my back, is telling my lover bad things about me to try and break me up, or things along those nature. (although, I normally never get paranoid about a lover cheating on me, and the rare times I do start feeling that way, always turns out to be true...hrm..)

I'm REALLY in need of money right now. my job hardly gives me any hours, my other web job's boss has up an dissapeared without paying me a single cent of the 750 bucks he owes me, and I'm really hurting for money.
