Posted 7 years agoYeah usin tumblr for art is pointless now because of their super faulty flagging system so I'm gonna post nsfw and other stuff here now...also gonna post the safe stuff on twitter cuz its waaaaay easier to actually gain a following on there. FA is great n all but theres so many flaws. For instance:
do tags do anything? eerything just shows up on the front page for like 2 seconds n vanishes. And the big one: y'all just let people post pedo/babyfur/underaged characters in fetish art and bestiality shit? I mean i definitely dont want this place to get a shitty flagging algorithm that barely works but like yo this shit is giin the furry community a bad name, y'know?.....buuut I cant talk cuz I dont even know if theres a report button ooops. But for real the furry community is just too open and accepting. I once heard a furry say they were chill with nazis n like whaaat?

Nooot a whole lot actually, other than being pissed abt pedos ruining the internet. Christmas is happening and thats stressful I guess. Buying gifts for family is hard. I managed to buy stuff for my best irl friends tho cuz they actually deserve it for puttin up with my bullshit lmao

I went out camping with my parents and my aunt, uncle and their 3 kids. The girls were talking about being in a parade here and mentioned 'furries'. I asked if they meant 'like the people who wear those mascot costumes?' and they said yeah and went on to talk about how theres a girl in their class who is a furry and has a dragon fursona and how them and a bunch of their classmates are all into furries. 9I should mention they are in 6th grade so they arent very old, like 11 or something lol)
So obviously I mention that I'm a furry and show them one of my fursonas and offered to draw them some bases so they can make their own fursonas. One is a bunny princess and the other is a unicorn princess :>
TLDR I learned that my cousins' 6th grade class is full of furries. I hope they steer clear of the 'not safe for kids' part of the fandom, atleast til theyre old enough to not be traumatized lmaoo A Proper Commission Rules and TOS journal UPDATED

Cel shaded headshot: $20
Soft shaded headshot: $30
Chibi: $30
Cel shaded fullbody: $40
Soft shaded fullbody: $50
Rules and TOS:
-I won’t do mecha or real animals
-Backgrounds are included in the price and will be simple shapes and colours
-I will draw humans or Anthros
-Guro is fine
-NSFW is fine but costs $5 extra (AND MUST BE LEGAL. NO UNDERAGE, NO INCEST)
-I will upload all commissions to here, twitter, and furaffinity, unless stated you don’t want your commission on either site.
-you can upload my commission to your page but please credit me
-I will show you the sketch after it’s done and you can ask for other updates
-however after the sketch stage I won’t offer refunds

Sorry things have been slow....(general updates)
Posted 7 years ago Sorry for not uploading very often. Both depression and bad sleep habits have been kicking my entire ass and I've just been exhausted lately orz. I'll try to post a bit more often. I definitely have ideas for drawings and stuff and WIPs to finish so I'll try to get things done.
I've also made a Telegram account! Though I'm horribly shy and rather bad at starting conversations but after a bit I promise I'm atleast a bit less awkward so if you wanna add me on there that would be cool...now that I think of it, it might be better for commissions too, then I dont have to upload things to sta.sh but idk. Also I'll sometimes message u funny things maybe -shrug-

How do you advertise yourself and actually get clients wanting to commission you? Hell, I'd like to know how to even like meet people in this fandom. I'm sorry I whine so much about this and sound so dumb and clueless but I'm just stumped. I got plenty of social media (twitter, instagram, facebook. Hell I even have a tumblr with a pretty high follower count that I'm reluctant to use because, well....tumblr) but aside from sayi "Hi I'm doin commissions" idk what else to do.
And money right now is reeeeaaal tight, and I'm not saying this to get pity, I swear, but I am very stressed about it so any tips on how to better advertise my art are greatly appreciated

Posted 7 years agoI went to check myy bank account this morning to see if my direct deposit went through yet (it didnt) and I noticed that I am $200 in debt to the bank right now. Apparently a subscription of mine kept trying to go through while I had no money and the bank charged me for it every time so now I am VERY stressed because I dont know when my direct deposit will come and the bank will continue charging me for owing them money
...So I guess what I'm saying is please commission me or buy some things off of my redbubble or something. I hate to beg but I'm on income assistance due to a disability and money is always pretty tight because of it. I'm sorry if this sounds really pitiful I'm just very stressed about this orz
