HOLY COW GUYS
It's been MONTHS of work. M O N T H S.

A whole crew of 13 artists (I like to imagine I am the 13th, heheee), funded by a whole ton of community donations, got together to make 78 -- You heard me right, SEVENTY EIGHT -- Unique, beautiful, gloriously dragony cards for Draconity-Dot-Org's 20th anniversary. And I so happened to make a swanky 8 of 'em, which, with the official release of the deck having happened, I have uploaded (without the cool card edits, like lines and borders and fades and text, done by the amazing  Celtara ) on this profile here. Isn't that awesome?! The whole community came together to make a ton of art for so many members, and a whole tarot deck is the result.

The time and effort and care that all takes is absolutely mind-boggling, and holy shit man, but they did it. While I might have parted from the site (due to differences in ideas about moderation more than anything else), I do still remember the community really fondly, and despite my bitchfittery on occasion, everyone has still been absolutely [Excellent, My Dudes] to me. I'm honestly so glad I got to participate-- Seriously, it's a small thing, but it feels like a nice conclusion to everything.

So thank you,  selroth and  celtara and absolutely everyone else who made this thing possible. Aurelia...  jojer...  starallon... kailarah... PrimalPeashooter...  dragoncomic... And so, so many more. :heart:

Hey folks! It has been brought to my attention that a feed that goes

Is probably not great for the people who want only the lighter stuff, or the people who want the heavier stuff. And boy that makes sense! I just, you know, didn't consider it. Because I don't care, why would anyone else?

As a result, I have created  SHKeySins to hold anything that's related to more extreme stuff that isn't to everyone's taste. Obviously, as this is an Extreme Account, you click and follow at your own risk. I'll tag and all things properly, of course, but it's still full of... Everything that I don't figure people will just shrug off.

2021 was frankly a bit of a bust as far as what I managed to put out. I think it was maybe only 20? 30? things at most (no I will not be counting thank you) and even those weren't any big hits.

I'm going to blame only some of it on the job I got new back in May-- Waking up at 4am, up to 10 hour days, 2 hour drive home at 100 miles a day... It paid better than my previous job, for sure, but just killed me. I got into drinking way more than I should have, and as you know art + wobble hand = no art . The rest of it, well, personal stuff that I won't get into, but I was... Really miserable for a good while.

But I'm out of there now-- It caused a recurrent medical problem to pop up again, on top of a new one, and my mate and I decided it was probably best I head out. Between the job and some changes in my life, I'm feeling a lot better, so that's a good thing! I can spend my focus and time with whom, and on what, I want.

Which means I get to look for a new job! Hooray! You'd figure in this market that'll go pretty quick 'n all, but who really knows. There's some companies I morally cannot work at that (here's looking at you, JojoMart) and some more personal moral qualms that are shooing me out of other jobs. But, I've still got you, my wonderful watchers, and I can always make some art.

Here's to a new year, better than the last, and actually creating some fun and beauty in this one. Thanks all!

1. Job goes well! Hooray for a job! I've been actually working there (pleg time off woo) for about half a year now, so I can probably say I'm pretty set there. Glad to say comm turnaround times haven't changed too much, so that's a plus! Part time has its benefits.

2. Will be having a minor Medical Procedure soon-ish so all commissions from here until I'm better will be queued. All current ones I'm hoping to finish, but anything from postydate until probably early to mid September will be on temporary hold.

3. You may have seen a sudden influx of TEETH! That's because they're fun and only $20. You, too, can get one!- Er, be put on queue for one!- Just beep me a note.

I now have a REAL JOB! As a result, I will be updating my prices to be more consistent and easier to parse, and also my turnaround times will probably be longer since my attention is split. Thank you all my commissioners for supporting me in the no-job-meanwhile, your generosity is truly appreciated. ^^ You've been great to me and I can't honestly thank you enough.

I'll be going! My badge is posted. ..... That's really it, tbh.

Oh, if you want a convention badge, poke me! I can't print and ship them to you or anything, but for only $20 you can have a cool pony badge to wear. I'd usually charge $25 for those, but I've cut the price because, uh, I don't own a printer/laminator/etc. Find a Kinko's or something. Are Kinko's still a thing?... Who knows.

Hello all! I'm in the process of moving, which means all PHYSICAL commissions are going to be closed due to, uh, the materials being packed. Digital is still available! I expect this closure to continue through July, when we're getting everything all packed up and unpacked.

In other news, I also have PHOTOSHOP now, and am trying to learn that. So far I use it mostly for editing .gifs into being transparent so I can use them as Discord emojis WITHOUT the struggle of apngs. I've got a project in the works with that...~!

Got a proper art tablet, now! It's a Cintiq 13HD, running Clip Studio Pro. A pretty massive update from a Samsung Tab 2 and IbisPaint! Now I'll be offering all my commissions on this, instead of the old method, unless you SPECIFICALLY request the old one. Don't know why you would, but I'll leave it as an option for now.

During the time it takes me to learn all these new things I can do with Actual Art Materials, I'll be offering all "Experimental" commissions at half off what they'd be in a non-experimental stage. This mostly means working with new brushes, methods, and other, similar things. Stickers are not going to be offered at experimental prices, however.

Until then, I have one more piece on the old tablet, and then pretty much everything is on the new system! ... Now time to move all those fav'd colours over... @x@

I got a new tablet! It's got a much higher resolution than the old one, so I can make more detailed drawings now. I've also got a proper drawing program, but am working on getting the funding for the hooks-up-to-laptop-professional-artist-tablet in order to start working with vector stuff, and not just pixels. Commissions are, as always, open!

Bad news, folks. Samsung tablet is refusing to charge on me, so I'll have to get it checked out. In the meantime, I'm going to have to put a halt on digital art until I can 1. Get it to work or 2. Get a new device of some sort, whether that's a Bamboo/Wacom/Etc tablet to connect to the laptop, or another cheapy tablet. We'll see. With all luck, online troubleshooting will fix my problems, and things will be good as new in a couple days.

I have a scanner now, and I'm rather glad! Since I have one, is there any art y'all would like to see re-uploaded in higher quality? If there is, comment below! I'll probably stick the old version in scraps, just to still have the quality comparison.
