Back from my trip!
Posted 4 months agoI've been in Wisconsin visiting family for the last week! It was a lot of fun and def the break I needed ^_^
One of my younger sister's had a graduation party and I was of course invited, it was a blast! The rest of the week was very laid back, mainly because my mom and siblings all had work LMAO
BUT I'll be getting back to work today, not drawing, mainly updating my queue and working on some stuff for my store! Yay

Hello from my NEW PC! (+ where ive been)
Posted 5 months agoHey guys! I finally got a new pc after years of working on my dinosaur! :'D It's so fast its like night and day haha. Shoutout to my friend 
for helping me by picking the best pc for my needs!! YAYYY!
After FWA i was hit with a big burnout and social exhaustion after going back to back on two cons (tff + fwa) so I had to take a quick break for a good week or two! Both cons were AMAZING and I had a great time :) Thank you everyone who came to my tables and chatted with me, bought something, ordered a comm, and then some! I'm hoping once I finish up moving my files around that I can get back to working on art next week!
My other job still takes up a lot of energy, I mentioned on social media a while back that I wanted to try and squeeze in one more day of art work and NAH i cant do that LMAO. I need at least two days off u__u It's tough working two jobs! But i'm adjusting well, I can't believe it's already been four months of working there! I have a lot of amazing coworkers and bosses THANK GAWDDDDD. I work 11 hour days on average (saturday and sunday) since I still dont have a car so I'm stuck there all day, but I've been working on driving more and now that my PC is bought; I'm going to try and save up for a car! I'm getting to the point that I get so antsy when I'm stuck at home, and our bus system here is kinda shit, sobs. I just gotta lock in.
Now that I have a new pc that can handle three programs at once (and then some, I did the monhun wilds benchmarker and got EXCELLENT as a rating, wow!), I think I can try streaming again! I think it will help me TONS with working on my queue ^_^ Which after FWA, is very big.... It hasn't been this big in a while! I'll be doing my best keeping up with communication and all that good stuff!

Hope everyone has been well! I'm adjusting pretty good to my new job :D It's so much better than when I worked at walmart (the bar was low. LMAO) lots of dogs and lots of fun :) I started learning to bathe and do nail trims on dogs too and thats been a lot of fun!! I get along well with my coworkers too so im pretty content

Posted 9 months agoI’ve been pretty MIA for the past week, besides prepping for ANEX I also finally started my second job! It’s a dog boarding and grooming building, and I’m doing dog boarding specifically! It’s only part time, so I’ll also be doing commissions, just slower since it isn’t my only job! Its only been a few days since I started but I’m already fitting right in :] fortunately, it’s a small business and not big corporate retail hell like Walmart lol
My bosses are super super sweet and so are my coworkers! Also working with animals fits me a lot better I feel, here’s to hoping I’m here for a while!

Posted 9 months agoHey gang! I'm finally back to work after taking off for anthro northwest! I had an amazing time and a pretty good weekend sales wise! :) Now I dig back into work until ANEX at the end of this month!
I plan to finally set up my OBS for streaming again, and plan to stream maybeeeeee next week? We will see...!

General life/work updates!
Posted a year agoHey guys! long time no talk, figured I'd give a general update in regards of how I've been!
Right now I'm working on plowing through my new job's training videos! I'm going to be working at the same company my roomate works at, which is working with dogs! They do grooming, I'll be working at the main building as a doggy daycare worker :) I've been wanting to work there since I moved up here, my future boss needed to work on setting everything up at the building and getting proper paperwork so it took a bit! The training is LONG and with my ADHD its been a nightmare working thru it LMAO but I'm going to try and dedicate some days to sit and do them...
With commissions, I'm finally doing REALLY GOOD at time management and having faster a turn around time! Which im very proud of :'3 I'm also coming back around to working on nsfw art, taking a break for taking them as comms really helped a ton. yippee! I'm still feeling some sort of art burnout, but that's only because I've been doing commissions for so long.. I'm hoping once art isnt my main income i can find joy in it again! I have a lot of fun ideas in mind for merch like sticker books and more stationary items, so please keep your eyes peeled for that!
Mental health wise its still pretty rocky, I've had some life changes recently that I'm processing but fortunately I have an amazing support circle! In the end things are okay :)

Posted a year agoI sure did completly forget to tell yall that I was vending at anex this last weekend lol BUT it was a lot of fun!! :D I have a lot of left over merch and I don't plan to go to any cons until super later this year (mayhaps... mff?) so I'll be working on getting my online store going! :3

Posted 2 years agoHey all! Wanted to thank all my clients for the continued patience; since November it's been SUPER BUSY at my job due to the holiday season, and my lord does it wipe me out LOL
Im slowly trying to get commissions started/worked on/finished, but they'll still be a bit slow >__< I only have 3 days off every week so I've been trying to work at least 2 of them
I have ANW in janurary, and ANEX in feb, so besides that I'll be workin hard!

General updates
Posted 2 years agoWork and a bunch of other factors are causing a bad mental health period and burnout in art. I've been weening off of the furry community social spaces for a few weeks now and will be continuing to do so.
Commissions are worked on, just very slowly, with christmas coming up I will be busy with my irl job. Mainly using all my energy to just survive right now.
This month specifically is going to be really hard for me I already know, so activity will probably be slower than it already has. I'm going to try and keep up with scheduling art posts here but besides that I'm kind of gone.
I'm still working on finishing my queue, I won't be running away with any money. Folks from august who ordered things that hasnt been started I have already contacted; as time goes by I will continue to reach out to those unstarted commissions about refunds when I am able.
I'm hopefully going to be working with a new therapist who will be able to help me so we will see how that goes.
TLDR: My mental health is shit and because of that / burnout / work I haven't been drawing. Starting new therapy soon.

Beef update:
Took him to the vet yesterday instead of today to get him checked up on his asthma; vet wanted to do x-rays and blood test but I couldn't afford it, found out the advice a vet tech told me to do (start using his 'as needed' inhaler instead of his daily use one) was wrong and the past few days I had been giving him his doses it was actually making him worse. :') So he is back on his usual inhaler, doing a litter better today. The donations I got from my crowdfund on ko-fi paid for his visit and his inhaler refill, so thank you very much everyone who had donated and boosted my post. I'll be taking him in next month for a follow up, and I'm going to be working on having a backup savings for him incase this happens again in the future once I get some funds from my other job. I'll be deleting the crowdfunding post since I'm not comfortable taking more donations that I do not need right now.

Commission work has been noticeably slower, unfortunately I'm still waiting to get my schedule from my other job; I've been in limbo for the past week bc I have online assessments I need to do @__@ They're paid at least, but I havent set up any direct deposit stuff due to the manager being off on days I try to go in. I'm heading in today to try and finish that up.
I'm going to try and keep any commission openings to ychs, collabs, and instreams. Maybe some smaller art openings, at least until I get some money coming in from my other job. I'm frustrated but there isn't much I can do that im not already doing.
I'm going to try and do my best with working on my queue, I greatly appreciate everyone's patience while I try to work on adjusting to my change in routine.

Posted 2 years agoI just had orientation yesterday, but I was hired to work at walmart part time! This will mean commissions will come out slower specially during the first couple months that I'll be adjusting to a schedule (fortunately seems that itll be consistent on what days im off/what days i work) but im very hopeful!

Taking a break from NSFW
Posted 2 years agoI know I barely like.. make nsfw content to begin with but i feel I should give a heads up? Anyways
Like the title says I’m going to take a break from nsfw content, specifically once I’m done with my nsfw comms. This includes ychs/comms and stuff like me offering it on ref sheets.
This isn’t because of anyone, all my nsfw clients are nothing but respectful to me and it means the world to me & I’ve fortunately have never experienced ppl who push my boundaries!!
I just need like. A break from it. For years I felt I had to make nsfw content to stay afloat in the community but I really don’t find any enjoyment in making it. Or engaging in it. I can’t really.. relate to it? The enjoyment? But that might just be bc of my inexperience in that field.
I’m working on myself a bit including sexuality and trying to push past a lot of locked away stuff and I think me doing this will help with that 🫡
I’ll still make ychs but they’ll be more like… not explicitly porn.
