So where have I been in the last seven months?

TW: SEXUAL HARASSMENT!



So, I got a job at a food service place — and lasted about six months or so? My boss got fired for sexual harassment and I got to be involved a bit in that. I ended up getting a job as a C.N.A! So that has been physically exhausting, but I've been working at memory care / assisted living home since October!

I'm able to get some art done when I work nighttime shifts there — super great! So soon I'll be able to do some commissions again! I'll likely just do sketches for a while!

I live in Utah now! Crazy.

I got a job immediately at a really bad place, yikes. But it pays the bills! I'll probably be back soon for some quick $3 sketches because I got a new Ipad and I can draw on there!!

My hubby has bronchitis, I have the flu — and we've both been off work for almost three days now because of how sick we are.

I am off today, so I'll be spending my morning doing sketch commissions.

But tonight, after my man comes home, I'll be heading to Disneyland for one of the last times ever!!! (We're planning a move to Utah.) There's a very very wonderful Festival of Holidays event going on and I'm going to the Cove Bar before they remove it so I can get the lobster nachos I've always wanted!

I had a beautiful day. I hope you guys did too!

It's been two years since I last posted. Life has taken a drastic change and I don't know how to really put it into words. But I'll try.



I went into a class for pharmacy tech. I completed it, I'm working on the last 60 hrs of free internship that I have to do. The pharmacists and technicians at my store are so horribly cruel. I can't wait until it's over with, as it's giving me so much more anxiety. Good news, though?

I met the love of my life. I met the goddamn love of my life and we recently moved in together! So we started to be official in January, now it's September and we've moved in. He's helped me so much mentally. I am no longer medicated, no longer depressed (which is a main reason why I had to leave FA to begin with.) and I've bounced back from my ED weight.

But things are rough. We're both struggling with money. I have no hours, he has no hours, we have to pay $1k a month in rent on top of well over $200 in utilities. So yeesh. We can't do anything fun. But I'm going to start up commissions, even though I'm still rusty, to try to just save enough money to take my boy out to dinner twice this month, maybe see a movie. So I have a goal of $200 for this month.

It'll be the sketches I provided before, traditional quick ones. It's pay your own price, I'd just prefer at least $3 a sketch. Anything NSFW will be at least $4 a character. Sorry ;o;

Sorry for the unplanned hiatus. Work + school has literally kicked my butt. But the updates!

1. My hours are being cut because shit is going down at work. Awful stuff.
2. My friend and I are planning to go to Florida for my birthday in October. Which sucks because I don't have the hours to pay for it. ( I mean, I do...but eeeugh.)
3. I had a huge falling out with my beset friends. So I'm stuck with limited people :(



But yeah! I should be posting more. Hopefully I can start doing some commissions again (el cheapo ones, traditional only) to help my friend pay for her trip. We just need to make $1,700 before October each!

I went to school yesterday at 8 am yesterday until 12. Then I had a 1:45 pm - 9:45 pm shift yesterday, went to bed. THENI WOKE UP AT 5, WENT TO WORK UNTIL 2.

Tomorrow I have a day off finally. I got my first paycheck yesterday too!!! But tomorrow I'll be posting some art. This is a confirmed promise, I swear!

My manager screwd up my schedule that I thought was established before I got hired. I had to drop a class WITH NO REFUND (over 150$) and he keeps scheduling me on these days!!!! And I asked for specific days off that I made plans for and I'm worried he'll change a day to then. :/ because he already forgot about my school days, so it's like kghsg

I've been very very very tired after picking up extra days at work (ALREADY) so I'm like ; _ ;

I have 2/3 sketches to post as well as one commission. SO I'LL GET TO THOSE SOON. I FEEL AWFUL, but its like 7 pm and I'm already ready to go to bed. :'(((((

Definitely stresssful. I preferred cleaning the bathrooms than working the register. ; - ;

I don't know if I should get too excited at this point, haha!

I'm getting a job interview tomorrow!!!! Omg!

I'm not happy. It'll be another $50 of bills every month, and in January it'll be raised again.

One of her bad forehead bruises/lumps is gone. It's just the really puffy black eye she still has. Her stitches come out on Monday!

I woke up at 2 am because of thunder right above my house. Cats were freaking out, and my mom accidentally slammed her face against the door frame to catch one of the cats that got loose when she was spooked by thunder.

CRAP HITS FAN.

Blood everywhere, bruised eye, etc etc. I have to drive her through insane hail and a lightning storm (can this sound any more intense????) to urgent care where she got facial stitches. I've been up since 2 am.

Soooooooooooooooo sorry for disappearing guys. I finally got my mental break that I needed.

But I'll be uploading any traditional sketches soon! I might make only those available for some time, seeing that they're my best work :>

For some reason, it wouldn't work for me and the cord was being lame. Like it kept falling out :(


But I'm chugging through the art I have now. I will be on a for sure hiatus until Saturday starting Tuesday, however! But I'll try to have all art out as fast as I can that's on my list!


The traditional sketches I'm offering are going to close off between 15 and 20, depending on what types that I get! If I get a lot of headshots, I'll probably push that limit much higher.

Today is an art day, and it's an art day that I promise!

But I'll be opening up art slots soon when I chug through at least 3/4 more pictures! I only have 7 more that are currently paid for, and the other 2 will be expiring in the next few days. :)

MY internet might go out for some time, the lighting/thunder is literally right above us I NEARLY CRIED IT WAS SO LOUD

BUT IF I DISAPPEAR, that's why!!!

Hopefully I'm on my way to getting a job!!!! :)))))

But now I have 2 slots open in my commission queue.
I'll be starting up the paid commissions

I'm pretty close to being able to pay for my rent this month! Well....next month. It's getting harder and harder to get farther ahead for my bills, which is frustrating ; _ ;

But pray for me getting a job at the 9 positions I applied for just now!!
