1. I feel you say a lot of things you either don't believe or have absolutely no idea about, just to agree with me. Stop that. No really, it's okay to be yourself and have your own opinions.
2. I wish you somehow magically lived closer. We'd have so much fun.
3. You always make me feel it's alright to be myself, and you always say the right thing. Thanks, it really helps.
4. Why do you always have to try to find a reason to make fun of others? Can't we just drop that and be nice and understanding to each other?
5. Please don't call me anymore, or ask me about my life. I'm doing fine without you. I know you may just want to try to fix things between us, but it won't work, there's too much water under the bridge. I've known you all my life and you've always been unreasonable, mean and vindictive. Please don't call me anymore.
6. Remember a time when we didn't need excuses to see each other? When I'd just come over for no particular reason and we'd always figure out something to do, or sometimes we didn't really even do anything at all? I miss those times.
7. I don't even really know how to express how lucky I am to know you. You are one of the few persons I know in real life who gets me on ANY level.
8. I don't know how you manage to be so perfect. Maybe we're not related, after all.

1. I always have trouble writing about myself. This is going to sound absolutely ridiculous, but when I write about myself I always feel so presumptuous.
2. I'm somewhat girly. I keep a diary, I cry at movies, I like slow dances and romantic songs, heart-wrenching poetry, and more often that not I think feelings are more important than practical things. No, it doesn't bother me at all. (Though it sure seems to bother some other people.)
3. I like reading kids' books.
4. I'm passionate about comics, and I want to draw them until my dying breath. (Seriously, it would be so cool to finally die on the drawing table and leave a cliffhanger.)
5. I used to think I don't have any story ideas. Now I have plenty. I wish they were more solid, though.
6. Sometimes I'm sad, but I don't know why.
7. Only lately it's dawned on me that people see me as an aggressive (not physically, but otherwise) and dominant person. Okay granted, sometimes I am, but most of the time I'm not.
8. I never get mad about mistakes, but I will about ill intentions.
9. I would like to be more of a morning person.
Eight ways to win my heart:
1. I think you're a good person. (Though I acknowledge everyone makes mistakes. There's nothing to it, we're all human.)
2. You try to be aware of any preconceptions (towards persons/ideas/whatever) you may have.

I think I was on second grade back when I last read it, and it was just as bit as good as I remember. Curiously, I didn't read a lot of children's books back then, and I think I've missed lots. However, now I fully intend to catch up.

Today will be a bad day
General | Posted 15 years agoEDIT: Apparently things have been a-changing in ocular medicine. It had been 7 years since my last visit, after all. I got a new kind of sedative which takes only an hour or two to come off. All for the better, I'm almost back to normal now. My lucky day.
I have an appointment with the optician today at 12:20. To see the retinal surface they'll have to sedate my pupils, and for some reason I always need the stronger sedative which takes the rest of the day to dissipate.
Not only is applying the sedative very uncomfortable (it mighty stings, I can tell you), but afterwards I won't be able to see clearly and light will hurt my eyes. I'll need my sister's help just to get out of the building.
So, that means no studying, no talking over the internet, and no drawing. Great.

Hey folks, guess what
General | Posted 15 years ago...I've decided I'm going to get myself a Wacom Cintiq. :D
Naturally, I'll only be able to afford the "cheaper" one, the 12WX, which is "only" a little above 1000€. The screen resolution on it is a measly 1280x800, but that's cool since it's actually the same as on my current laptop (which by computer standards is a precambrian fossil).
However, the important thing is that this is no longer just an impossible dream! If no unexpected expenses present themselves, I should be able to afford one this fall. :D
