It's going to take a few months of slowly getting old art on my new account, but I decided I won't post commission openings here anymore! Since I want this one to slowly become "dead".

I go by "Rav", and my humanoid account is "Ravarius", so I felt "Ravalicious" was a clever way to go about it. xD Cuz my new account still will be mostly vore, but can still easily be other things as well! It's not as limiting as this account's name. lol

I'll still be communicating with clients on here until I finish their commissions! Then all new communication will be on the new account. :3

I am constantly annoyed by the username, and who knows if FA will ever give the option to change usernames. @_@ They say they have it on the list, but that could still be many months to years away.

Feels so awkward putting my other username on art when it doesn't reflect my account, but I refuse to use this current username on art!

Plus, I don't want this account to be strictly vore! I know that will still be the majority but I do other furry stuff too. XD

I think it's highly likely I'll make a new account. When that happens, I'll slowly move over the art from here to there, and delete the art from here.
Thinking I may have to do at least one paid ad for on here as well to get numbers back up, too!

I'm guessing I'll take two sketch comms (either grab bag style or regular) and a full illustration (which may be first come first serve).

I will most likely have a comm or two left to finish from this current batch but that will be okay! The two comms I haven't been paid for yet I'm making as "April's" batch anyways. Just gets a little head start. hah!

For a couple of days some of you may have seen my "new" icon, but it felt a little off. Then I realized she was missing her shoulders. XD and wasn't fluffy enough!

And now with blinking action. :3 lol

I noticed I didn't get anyone to fill the form for a full illustration spot (which I found funny that the sketch spots filled when it was the opposite before, lol), and I'm sure it's because of it being "I choose who I'll draw" (though someone did later note me asking if they could have the spot, and it worked out. XD)

But I thought of another idea that might be better for when I open next time!

So what do you think of this idea?

It will go back to being "first come first serve", but you'd have to have at least two ideas, or a few different characters for me to choose from! Could even show me your characters (if you have more than one) and let me choose, and we can go from there, OR if you only have one character you could share a few different ideas.

I want to try this, because there have been times where clients may have certain characters that REALLY interest me, but they end up having me draw a character I may feel more neutral towards.
Or there's certain situations I rather like that I've seen a client be interested in as well, but they may have me do something I may not be strong on/experienced with/nervous about. This doesn't happen too often, but I'd like to give myself more choice if possible!

Many times when I commission people I like to show several characters to see who they are most interested in, cuz I want the artist to enjoy it as well. So I wanted to try the swap around where it's people doin that to me, too!

Otherwise if this isn't that interesting for people I may try to do more YCH things again.


Of course that doesn't mean I am completely going away from people telling me a single idea with a specific character, cuz it may still work out great anywho! I just wanna try this out for next time. :0

I will pick someone tomorrow morning! So in 24 hours or so.

That also means it may not be until tomorrow before I respond to the sketch people as well (if there are any).

I figured out what I'll do for them.

I'll be offering two types of commissions.

First one is sketch commissions, which will be first come, first serve.

Second is a full illustration commission. For that one I'll have a comment ready to go for people to give me brief info, then I'll choose who I'll wanna work with! So many people want this type, so I wanna go with the ones that really catch my interest. There of course could be several that catch my interest but I have to limit to one! Then when finished I may do it again, depending on how well it goes.

I'll have the journal posted in the morning, and will choose who to work with by the end of the day! More info will be posted on that journal as well. :3

I went ahead and got a Cintiq for myself. I was concerned about pain and certain issues, but so far so good!

I worked on some personal art as tests/practice, and in the finishing stages of a large image for myself, and it still has been going well!

I also took on two commissions, one of which I've been able to already start rather quickly (while I'm waiting for info on the other one). And I've been working on these before work (if I have enough time)! That's huge for me!

And inking has become fun again, too! Inking used to be so frustrating to do on a tablet because my hand-eye coordination wasn't great so I kept making mistakes and feeling frustrated. On top of that my mental health has been a lot better!

I still want to finish a few more images before I take more people on, just to get a better feel for certain things and get some kinks out.

However, when I do start taking on comms again I'll wanna start out with smaller things! I was overloaded with large illustrations before, so I'll wanna break it up so I don't still feel overwhelmed with that. I'll have more info when it comes closer to when I am ready to open! :3

Makin a quick frustrated journal before I poof for 2 days.

The Pokemon company dropped a new trailer TWO DAYS before the Legends of Arceus game is released and has new content. I didn't know for sure if the new content was actually new, but then I saw some words confirming it. Luckily I didn't see anything, BUT I WANT TO BE SURPRISED! WHY DO YOU GOTTA SHARE SOMETHING LIKE THAT 2 DAYS BEFORE IT'S RELEASED. LET US SEE IT FOR OURSELVES!!

So that means I have to get off here (cuz I am SURE at least one person I watch will draw something about it) and youtube. I'll stick to Netflix for watching things.

SO BE WARNED! YOU MAY BE SPOILED AS WELL IF YOU WERE TRYIN TO BE SURPRISED YOURSELF!


Edit: glad I was told they ARE still leaving it as a surprise. But the titles from the video and my email made it seem like they were actually showing it, thus why I didn't watch. @_@ And the company has spoiled things like this in the past. Glad they are just being teases then!

I've been struggling to do art for a long while now, and that waitlist is now 6+ months long. I didn't realize things would be so hard at the time, but at this point I can barely do any art for myself either. The waitlist has given stress to myself, and for those who didn't forget about it may just keep waiting and waiting, hoping they'll get something from me.

The waitlist was a bad idea to begin with, even though I thought it could be a good alternative.

But right now I have no idea when I'd be able to do new commissions again. I have my personal life to tackle first, and then if I do take commissions again I'll only take on 2 or 3 at a time with no waitlist at all. But again, I don't know when I'd get back to that. I have three paid comms in the final stages that I'm struggling with right now, so my only goal right now is hopefully finishing them sometime soon (if possible) and then rest. I had even considered completely refunding them and they keep whatever I had, but there's only 3, and so close to being done... I'd think I should be able to finish. I just feel terrible for how long they are taking.

I'm very sorry for how long this has all been and for those who were looking forward to getting art from me. It could still happen in the future, but there's just no idea when that will be yet. v_v

I wanna find more people who have heavy interest in a few things I am heavily interested in.

Things had slowed down a bit again mainly because I got a retail job for personal reasons. And of course that goes crazy during the holidays! But I've been slowly chipping away at my list.

However, I plan to finish through my current work list, then I need to take a short break (maybe a week or two at most. All depends on timing and how I feel). I'll then start again on the waiting list, though I'll take the next person on by themselves to start, mainly because it's a short comic. Once I get that going and mostly done, I'll add on the next people who are still interested!

I've been keeping my trello updated each day on what I've been able to do, if anything. The "schedule" does help me though it for sure has not been concrete and have been needing to switch things around from time to time!
Also with the current owed list I'll be working on any of them that I have the current motivation for! Depends on the stage they are at and how complicated they are. But they'll all be finished before I take on the new people, as mentioned!

I've been doing this in my own planner for a little while now, and it has worked rather well besides when I have to move things around, so I wanna make it public!

However, it doesn't mean for SURE that I'll work on a thing that day, as there can always be something that comes up where I can't do art.
But it also doesn't mean that's the ONLY thing I'd work on that day. The schedule is simply a goal for myself, and anything more than that is a bonus! But if things come up, I'll move around the schedule.
Still, it's a nice challenge for myself. :3

Saturday, for example, may be a hard one to do any art, cuz of Pokemon BD/BP being released the day before. I might be too hooked to it to be able to do art. But I can also see myself getting tired of Pokemon after several hours and need a break. XD Who knows~

And Wednesday will be a challenge as well since that day I have a hiking group at 4pm. I've been helping out my driving job this week from 6am-12pm each day, so it will be tight to get art in. >.> I tend to feel overwhelmed when something else is planned that day. Hm! But at least that day is listed as a rather simple one for me to do.
I also will have it for myself if I finish a day's goals and finish the next day's goal on the same day, I can let myself rest that next day... or work on something else. xD So maybe I'll finish the "ugly flats" and "real flats" stages tonight! But today I'm mainly doin chores. >.>

I feel good about this. :3 and I won't beat myself up if I happen to not follow the schedule completely! Things happen~

And I am FINALLY free from all those reference sheets!! Oh my gosh they took longer than I thought. @_@ Now back to commissions and other art!

Technically 1 and a half refs, since there's this main one I have to do, then copy-paste the nude body to another sheet so I can do the clothes.

BUT YEAH, I'm so close to done, and with about a week left. So it looked like I wasn't doing art, but I've been focusing my time on finishing these ref sheets! Today I plan to work as much as I can on this ref sheet, too, despite it storming. I only have a few days to try to finish this, since some of these days this week or so I'll be busy, and then I'll have a friend over from October 28th-November 2nd. It's at that point I'll finally go back to commissions!

Also, when my friend gets here, I plan to get 2 monitors to help me out with art. I have a high feeling this will help me a lot, with having another monitor for my references. I've been limited on references to use for art because of my space, or needing to use my laptop (which can be frustrating). I'm so excited for it!!

Instead of simply asking "will you pay the new price or cancel?" I'll offer a few options. So for the original price I'll let them know what that would get them (and with a few other suggestions if they really want the full illustration look), but I'll also say the new price for the original idea. This way if they still wanna pay the original price but are okay with the alternative option (possibly a refined sketch + shading instead of full illustration) then that could be best for the both of us!

Pricing is now more individual and not an over all "this is the price for this kind of commission" since they are all so different. @_@

But I feel much better about this idea with giving more options.

I got a big chunk of my personal needed list done, so I see an end in sight! I also moved a few things for "later" as they really weren't needed before Halloween.
But gosh, Halloween is coming up pretty quickly. I'm excited!

I had a brief talk with a friend about my waitlist, and I came to realize that it's not the smart thing to do to continue with the waitlist with my current prices.

She at first suggested I cancel the waitlist, but I personally wouldn't do that (as I'd feel bad) and that's when I realized about the price issue.

There's 13 people on my waitlist. For me, that's a LOT as it would take me a long while to get through (the amount of work for the price is also what stresses me out and makes it take longer as well.)

Practically all of them are full illustrations, which adds to the issue.

I haven't figured out the new prices yet, but after these last several vore-themed comms I for sure know they need to be upped!

So, what this means is when I get to the next people on my list I will let each person know how the price had to change and ask if they still wanted the commission. I know some of those on my list may not see this journal.
However, if you do see this and you'd rather not go with a price increase you can let me know now and I'll remove you!

In the coming days I'll have an updated commission list! I do apologize for having to do this, but I think this will be the best way to go about it since there's so many of you. @_@;; and the most fair way, too, instead of simply removing everyone.

The last few weeks have been horrible, art-wise (besides that one stream day). My initial plan was to work through October at my current job (which is what keeps me away from art), and it would be in November that I quit my job (for health reasons).

Well, I've been having a few health scares this last week, so I'm bumping the time off starting in October. My current job makes it nearly impossible for me to focus on my health at all, so it's why I need to quit.

So, come early October I'll be focusing on my health (diet/lifestyle, walking/moving more) and may be that way until February or March. I have savings to be able to do this. (I will be on vacation from September 29th - October 3rd)

But I'll also be focusing on mental health as well, which means more interactions with other people in various forms.
But also I should be able to do a lot more art, too! I'll take things slow to begin with to figure out how I want my routine to go, and things will change here and there as well.

I gotta keep busy with doing things, otherwise I'll fall into a depression through this. Don't want that! But I have high hopes for all this.
