I hadn't gotten anyone interested in the in-stream painted maw shot commission (which actually worked out... cuz I got some heat exhaustion on that Monday. @_@) so I'd just like to hear your thoughts!

I thought for sure I'd at least get one person, since maw shots (and painted!) are one of my main things here.
Was it the price? The day? (since Labor Day for the US/a Monday) It being a stream at all? :0
Maybe I just need to get more interest? Hm!

I could try a cheaper option of a maw shot sketch (for painted and on stream I didn't feel comfortable being less than $150). But with all the personal streaming I've been doing I felt ready to take on at least maw shots (for streams)! Just can't do soft vore and the like just yet. :3

So if you are interested in something like this in the future, please let me know your thoughts!! Even if it really is "I want to wait until you accept more vore things". It would still be good to know!

Okay this will be a second attempt, but with something more along the lines of what people are here for!

I am thinking of doing a commission stream on Monday (labor day), but I need to see if there's interest!

It would be for a painted maw shot at $150. I'd only be taking one, as I'd like to start and finish that day (though if have to finish little things off stream that's fine as well!)

The main rules would be that it has to be of a character with a ref sheet OR if I can go off of a real animal for the mouth. I can't make up a fantasy one for this one! Either it has already been designed or an actual animal. :3
It would either be "grab bag" style or you can tell me how it is.

There won't be any other characters in the image, however!

So if you would be interested in this, please comment! I don't wanna do the stream if there isn't actually anyone who will want one/can get one.

(also I've been in ref sheet mode, too, so it would be a good change of pace. XD But I'm half way through the ref sheets I want to finish!)

I'd start the stream around 10am Minnesota time, though give an hour for people to show up (so actually starts at 11am).

So yesterday was a learning experience for me.

I didn't get any actual sketch comms to do from watchers (besides one I could only do off stream; I also half expected this so it's all good), but my friend, Sepi, DID get one from me since I owed him some money.

But even with a friend it was pretty nerve wracking to start. But then when I did finally get into it I wasn't able to finish in stream. To be fair I did more to his commission than a normal "bust shot" but I can easily expect not finishing a full body image the same way, since in the beginning I have to figure things out first (and a full body would be about the same work I did for his).

I felt okay to not finish his (as I finished it this morning) since he's my best friend, but if it was anyone else I would have felt pressure to keep going, despite feeling tired or having pains. The issue is thinking I would finish something in one day. Aha...

I am jelly that Sepi can start and finish sketches (and multiple!!) in one day but I can't (unless it was a really small sketch), but that's okay. XD;; I'll simply avoid "same day" sketch commissions. SO it is possible in the future I could still take on people while in streams, but I won't expect to finish that same day.

But for NOW I'll focus on commissions I take out of stream but try to work on them in stream when I can. May still be very hard for the very beginning stages of commissions, tho. Instead, when I work on personal art I will try more from the beginning stages. Or even with my ref sheets I need to finish, I'll work on those in stream as well (though I'll no longer give links to those (from here) streams since they are humanoid).

Kinda happy I was able to find this all out while working on my friend's comm. Was a good way it went!

In other news, today I start work on my friend commissions on my list! I took a week break, but now starting up again~ Still some people I haven't gotten info from so I'll work on the ones I do have info from. :3 Hee~

Saturday, August 21st is when I plan to do a test sketch stream! As a reminder it won't be vore-themed (so no maw shots/clear vore) and will instead focus on a single character. Nudity will be fine, but I'll avoid fetishes/sexual images.

This stream will mainly be me getting the feel for it, to see if I'd wanna do more in the future! And if it works out, then in the future I WILL be fine with vore/sexual stuff. I just get too nervous to begin with! Gotta ease into it!

I'll still be figuring out pricing, since it would be a near instant product and you get to ask for fixes/changes while I work, so will be more expensive than my usual sketch comms.

But would for sure be a refined sketch + color + shinies.

When the day comes, I'll make a journal about it. For the first hour I'll work on personal work (so people can trickle in), and then at the hour mark is when I'll see who's interested, and then do a random number generator to choose who gets it! I'll only do one to start. Can do more if doesn't take too long, but goal is one to start! I really don't want to work on them when the stream ends (unless it's just little fixes/almost done). Cuz gotta be instant!!


What I'm thinking is I'll start the stream at 12pm Minnesota/Central time, and the actual sketch commission choice will be at 1pm.

Close to the day I'll say what the price will be! (or a price range, as the character can change the price depending on complexity).

A wonderful client told me their concerns over a few things, and it got me to thinking, so I ended up changing some things! I want to make things as clear and easy to follow as possible for everyone!

First thing: The Waitlist is now closed! I realized I need to better think over my pricing for vore commissions, cuz the level of detail I want/do put into them ends up taking so much more time than I realize! I will not update the pricing until the last people on my waitlist are being worked on, however!

This is my plan:

I now added friends to my work list, those who have shown interest for a while now. However, I won't start work on theirs until the last two older commissions are finished! I made that clear on the trello as well just to make sure. :3 I will update their info once I know what my friends want!
I also added the next person from the waitlist to the worklist as well! I'll message them as soon as I finish the last two comms.

The waitlist will be in order! Before, I wanted to do a mix of taking people from the top as well as if anyone else I had an extra want to draw (or, wasn't vore) but since they are all vore I'll stick to going only in order! It's all fine they are all vore, too! It will just take me a while to get through them all since they are all big commissions. XD So it can still take several months!

I do NOT plan to take on smaller commissions again (between the waitlist/worklist commissions), as that has shown to not help! It only added time. I apologize for that!

But, I still will want to test out stream commissions at some point! Those will just be a once-in-a-while thing where I'll take a sketch commission and must finish that day! Plan is one to begin with just to see how speedy I am.

But also: now until next year I'll also be working on personal art heavily (both for myself and gifts for Christmas). I want to finish reference sheets of my humanoid characters before Halloween, and then I have several digital paintings I want to finish for family and friends. I'll continually test out ways on how to work on my personal art vs commission work, as I'm trying to find a good balance! It just sucks right now with how busy I am with work (and other life things that pop up).

I was planning to work at Target again during the holiday season, but I may not because of the covid numbers blowing up again.
Instead, I may just take time to do more art in general (as my driving job slows down quite a bit in the winter). But for now it's nuts!

Also, I think I will have time to do art this Sunday! I only need Saturday to move my work station to my dad's house, and Sunday I can simply work on art while I take care of their dogs. And then the next week I am watching the dogs as well, which means half days at work! So I may actually be able to work on art during the week, too! But I'll still be cautious about it.

I have two left on my list! One should be rather quick, while the other is still a large one. But I'm on the final steps of shading and whatnot!
Though I still feel it may be a couple weeks until I finish the big one. Thus, once I finish the small one I'll go between ref sheets and the big one (if my hand starts hurting from rendering).

I forgot I also wanted to take commissions again from some friends! They've been waiting for a while. So once the big comm is all finished, I'll take on friend comms as well as one from the list on here! Just so those still keep goin. But I'll also mainly be focusing on ref sheets! So my friends will know it will take some time to finish theirs.

This weekend I may not be able to do any art at all cuz I gotta move my work station (and cats) to my dad's house for the next week. Even during this week I'll barely be able to do art! ;-; augh.
My goal is to try to at least finish that small one this week. GOTTA. Geh.

I was planning to stream yesterday, but I ended up getting a big "order" for my job and couldn't pass that up. Drove from middle of Minnesota to middle of Iowa to drop a thing off for $500. I got home close to 8pm and just passed out. 4 hours each way!
Then this morning I had even more orders to do (a bunch of little ones) and just now getting a break. In a few hours I go on a hike, but I could still get more orders until then.
(if you're confused, I'm a "courier". I go to places to pick things up and drop them off, all with my own car. Can be pretty much anything. Also can be a mile away or hundreds of miles away.)

So... I'll just plan for this weekend to do art. xD;; Ahhhhhhh

All of yesterday I couldn't get ahold of anyone. Luckily the humidity was down, but was still a warmth in my apartment. This morning it was in the 60's but 90% humidity AND THAT WAS HORRID.

I finally got ahold of someone and he got here within the hour. Apparently the "emergency contact" button in the app wasn't connected to the right thing, as it went to this specific guy instead (when he isn't available on weekends). It should have gone to a "dispatch" area. But I was able to help by giving the guy the number, so he'll go to the office and have it changed!

Feels so nice to not be melting in here. xD

I DID do a little bit of art yesterday, but didn't wanna stream/do anything heavy just in case. Instead, I hope I can stream tomorrow after work. This next commission is a smaller one and I should be able to finish it in a few hours! Tonight I'll be busy.

I really want to, but my AC is broken and I have no idea when the repair people will come in to fix it.
If they are able to fix it before 1pm (it's 9am atm) then I will be able to!

It's getting pretty hot in my apartment... @_@ and I can't close the blinds (in my living room at least) because my cats will break them.

Though goin to challenge myself a little bit. I wasn't planning to mention this yet, but I AM making a new humanoid account. Starting over for that! Because of it I have things I want to finish before I start posting Halloween this year.

So, I plan to exclusively work on commissions (that are on my current work list) and finish them before I can get back to work on reference sheets and other things I want finished before then!

I changed the order a little bit, so it's Big Commission then Small Commission and Big Commission and so on. I want to TRY to work in order (but if waiting for a response/get a part done on one I can work on the next for a bit).
This could change depending on what I really wanna draw at that moment for the commissions, but I wanna at least test it out! No matter what they'll all be finished before I do personal art again, though. That means my goal is to finish them within this month. >.> But I won't be too harsh on myself if it slips into August (cuz who knows what can pop up to make it so I can't do art).

Those on the waitlist: after my current list is finished, I may then just take one person at a time while I work on personal art! I still want that to be moving when I get to that point. :3 But this is not set in stone. Knowing myself, it can change. I know I'll get tired quickly of working on reference sheets... LOL;; ;-;

I may do a sketch stream in August as well. Slight chance in July, but better guess is August. I wanna see how well I do with that!

I haven't been doing too well these last few days and was struggling with working on commissions. I did some personal art, but even that is a struggle.

So I'm going to take a week break to get myself back together, and hopefully this depression moment can fade. I want to try to focus on being outside more (while doing art makes it so I can't) so that will be my main goal! As well as being around others, since I've been feeling very lonely.
I wanted to do art these last two days (I DID get a little comm work done on Saturday) but it has been a mess, and I've ended up not doing anything, which only made me feel worse.

I apologize for the delay, but I know this is needed so I can get back to comm work just fine!

My goal is to come back on Monday the 12th.

This wouldn't be for a while yet, as I gotta finish most of the comms on my current list before I'd do so!

But I've been seeing my friend,  sepisnake, do a bunch of sketch commissions in stream and it has been slowly makin me wanna try it as well!

Most likely when I do it I'll only take on one to start, and it will be more expensive than a normal sketch comm (simply because it's far more nerve wracking to work on a commission from beginning to end right in stream with the client watching... xD and getting it RIGHT THEN.)
Sepi would help me set up a raffle if several people were interested, just so it's fair.

The whole thing will be a trial/error thing, too, cuz I'll have to figure out what I'm okay with drawing from the beginning. To start, I may not allow vore at all, cuz that's far more nerve-wracking for me!

As of today I feel 95% better! Heat therapy really was what my arm/shoulder needed! Practically no pain except for certain movements with my arm, but I rarely move in those ways anyways.

Yay my parents were right! :3 No doctor visit needed.

I finished a commission today, so I'll be posting it tomorrow~ Then a bit more comm work tomorrow to do! And hopefully more during the week.

Feels great to do things fully again!

It has been a rollercoaster. The last journal I made was the day I went to get my tattoo updated... and because of that I couldn't take advil until after the update was finished. I was in agony while in that chair, and just because of my shoulder. The tattoo pain was nothing.
My artist heavily suggested I see a doctor, as well as get my own sling for my arm. I then was planning to do so, but when I went to see my dad and step mom in person they told me that I should NOT get a sling and that I should be trying to move around my arm, and that there's no need to see a doctor.

I felt so confused cuz I was told completely different things by two different people. But... trying to go with what my step mom said/suggested.

I had been dealing with strong pain (except when I'd have advil it would numb it a bit) but this morning I think I may have found what I need. For the last two days I had tried to ice the area, but that didn't seem to help and it kept on hurting.
But today I put on a heat pad for over an hour and afterwards a bunch of the pain subsided for certain things. For example, when I drove to my office (45 minutes away) I wasn't able to lift my arm to do the turn signals without pain, but after the heat therapy and driving back home I noticed I had NO pain doing those same actions. I do still have pain if I move my arm in certain ways, but that was a big difference for me!
So I'll continue doing that every few hours.

When my arm has been okay enough I've been doing a little bit of personal art. If things continue to slowly get better I should be able to do a little bit of comm work on Saturday and Sunday!
I keep being so relieved the pain is in my left arm and not my right. I can still do a bunch of things, though some things I can't without my left. I can at least do some art when my left arm isn't in pain at rest!

Things are finally looking up again. :3 I hope I can do my courier job tomorrow!

Yesterday I strangely hurt my left shoulder and it's still really strong today. Very painful. I'm going to give the week to heal and see how it's doing by Saturday. My parents didn't think I needed to go to the doctor yet, so we'll see.

What happened: I dropped my car keys between the passenger seat and the middle console. I was trying to fish them out with my right hand, when suddenly I felt this sudden pain in my left shoulder. I have no idea what happened, but now it's in severe pain if I move it in certain ways. It's not dislocated cuz I can still move the actual shoulder fine (it's my arm if I move in different ways I get shooting pain) and it physically doesn't look weird. No discoloration or anything like that either. Just PAAAIN.
I'm hoping it's some sort of torn muscle so it will simply heal on its own. Just hope it won't take too long... v_v

I do have each commission on my list at least started, however.

Trust-me commissions are when you give me a character (or 2) and I draw them however I like (staying within how the character is). The catch is you will not see any updates, and it could range from a refined sketch to a full painting. It's all up to me.

With a clear/finished reference with no shading (and not complex): $30
Without a clear, single, finished ref: $35-50
The fee depends on how much is missing on a reference sheet/if things aren't clear!

If you desire more than one character, it's double the (base) price for the second one. Limit to 2 characters only.
-Must pay upfront.

Note: If you mention the character has a partner, I will not draw the partner at all unless I am paid to draw a second character. But I may draw "things" if things are mentioned!

This weekend was a little slow with the arts, but I'm hoping to do more this week! A goal of mine would be to finish a commission a week at the least (or get a lot done on several big ones).
I'm going to be trying/starting a new thing for myself to keep myself on track for various things in my life, and I have good feelings about it! (mainly cuz the reminders app in my iphone are persistent and that's what I need!)

Tomorrow I may open up for a few more trust me comms or grab bag maw shots, to work on between all these larger commissions. XD I'll get burned out otherwise! I worked a bit on the one trust me commission I have currently, and already excited about finishing that one! And the others on my list, of course, but needed a mental break! XD

One thing I'm also trying is writing down what I want to try to work on for a day, in my planner. That will stay private, but I'm hoping it will work out! :3 Trying to be reasonable to myself of what to do. Like "ink half of a commission". A really wanna be able to do art for at least an hour a day! My brain just gets confused and feels like I don't have enough time. Yes I doooo! So it will be a work in progress for myself.

I had said that "if I draw it, assume it's fatal vore unless otherwise stated" and I am scrubbing that!

If you can't tell and it's not stated, then assume either way! Whichever way you prefer. :3 I've been swayed a bit by those telling me about their own preferences. And there will be safe vore stuff I may wanna explore in the future (that makes it obvious it's safe).

I still prefer the fatal vore, but it's fun to explore the other stuff too! Just give me drooly maws~~

I saw this being discussed under a comic from a long time ago from someone else, and I found it interesting.

For me, "safe vore" is a little "strange" to me, as I don't understand the safety feeling of it. But that's just because my own interests are different. (I understand it better now!) :P And yet I don't like drawing the digestion part. xD I mainly like a happy pred.

I DO like willing prey, tho. But maybe unwilling a bit more. But to me, if something is going into something elses gut, they dead.

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I'm against drawing it! But do know the majority of what I draw is fatal vore. (at least it's implied. If the client says it's not fatal, then it's not!) I no longer think this way! It can be either or unless stated one way or the other!

So if my (feral) characters eat something else, they ded. :P Maybe! lol



Main reason I made this journal is I saw people who only like safe vore get really upset if an artist does fatal vore. I just hope that those who don't like that will keep it to themselves and simply avoid or unwatch! No need to voice disappointment under art you don't like. :0

I fully don't understand why people would make their distaste/disapproval known (under art they don't like). xD; What's the gain there?
