Cityscape and homosexual reproduction
General | Posted 10 years agoNot every homosexual couple can just get each other pregnant. That is not how this works. From what I can tell with a little help from my descendant, Amanda the Dark, homosexual reproduction can occur only three times. Once between a Archangel and Angel, once between a Demon and an Angel and once between a Demon and Archangel. And all three have already occurred. The Archangel and Angel pairing happened when I was still young and it is almost lost to me. Luckily, I documented it. We were all a little surprised by it. The Angel was the baring mother.
Then you have Laura and Talla who are a Demon and Archangel. And finally, the accidental birth of Lauren Cole who is the child of Amanda and Angelia, a Demon and Angel.
Although, Laura and Talla had twins, which is another very rare event. Witches having twins is extremely rare, and to have a homosexual twin birth is quite the event. The theory was that each family could have one, but this means the Angels and Archangels have given birth to only one while the Demons are up to two. Which slightly changes my theory. Perhaps more homosexual reproduction can occur. My notes and evidence says one thing, but they say that Lauren shouldn't exist as Laura already gave birth to Amanda.
But, Amanda is a very powerful Witch and she did cast a Time Stop spell on herself, as did Angelia, so, perhaps their messing around with spells and things changed it so it allowed Amanda to get pregnant. And really, no one realized Lauren wasn't Amanda's husband's until the she was born and had tiger stripes instead of lion spots. This is something that was altered later thanks to Lauren's telepathic abilities, but, even the DNA tests confirm it.
How is homosexual reproduction possible? Through magic. Only very powerful Witches can make it happen and couples that are thoroughly bonded. Which did make Lauren's birth awkward to say the least. I did not envy either of them having to explain the that situation to their respective spouses and then everyone coming down here to the Annals to have me explain it and continue the lengthy arguments.
Most of the time, that is, 75% technically, the children are the same gender as the parents as there is only one set of chromosomes. However, in the other case that makes up 25%, you have Amanda's twin brother, William. He is a he due to a mutated X chromosome. So, actually, in reality, he isn't really a he. But, he identifies as male, so, that's what we're going with. Even after marrying a beautiful young ferret, he hasn't changed. And yes, his wife knows. Another lengthy discussion that his sister got to explain and not me. She is the geneticist, thankfully.
In all reality, I can't quite explain how it happens. I just know it does. But rarely. And it probably won't happen again.

"My Best Enemy" trailer
General | Posted 10 years agoNO! I do not fight for justice or truth or any of that bullshit. Nah. She's shown me more about myself in the past year that I ever thought possible. I know what I fight for now. Her. And love. And family. A year ago I was struggling to find time just to see a movie. Now we're looking to adopt a kid and I have a secret proposal to plan. Yeah, so what if she's supposed to be the bad guy. I love her more than I've ever loved anyone. So, we'll go out there and play our roles and come home to the same house and crawl in the same bed and sleep the same sleep. Because she is my best enemy!

The Uncensored Truth about Witches
General | Posted 10 years agoWe are not technically "Witches." That's not really the correct term. We are really Conduits. Some would even call us Containers. We are buckets full of Magic. When a Witch dies, they release their energy into the air. And when a Witch is being formed they are infused with magic and as they grow up, so does their magic.
Magic, however, can spoil and that can be deadly. Veranda the Forsaken created a spell that cycles the magic every Halloween using the dead Witches over the past 1000 years as spare storage, briefly bringing them back from the dead.
There are many many many Witches. Those in the Three Families are simply really powerful and the largest Conduits.
We also understand finally, through recent research how Witches are formed. We used to think that Witches were made through genetics, but that is not the case. The magical energy used to form Witches comes from the parents. Not genetically, but emotionally. After expanding studies, the rate of Witches was the same no matter the gender of the parents. As longs both were Witches, a Witch was guaranteed. Even if they adopted.
Plus we know that the offspring of two Witches is more powerful.
But, the biggest secret of Witches; the one thing no one is supposed to know about is that the Hero Serum that created the Brethren could only work with Witches. Experiments were done on non-Witches but failed. Terribly. It usually resulted in the subject going mad. As, actually, was the case with Brian. He wan't a Witch, but was given the serum anyway more as a punishment. All the other subjects. Every single member of the Brethren were Witches.

Cityscape: All Witch's Eve preview
General | Posted 10 years agoMagic is strange and odd. There is still much about it don't completely understand. One aspect of this oddity is the day of Halloween on Eden. While we did take that name from the humans of the planet Earth and many of the customs are the same, the reasons on Eden are much different. No one really knows when it started, but I, Aleksandra the Blessed attribute this to some of my former names and long life. Every year on 31st of 8th month, the magical energy around Eden seems to increase. But only in the Witches. During this entire day from dusk until dawn, it is impossible for a Witch to hide themselves. During this time, our eyes glow bright white and magical glyphs appear on our skin. Not even Veronica knew what the glyphs meant.
And when I say "Witches" I do mean all Witches. Past and present. No one knows why or how but on that day the dead walk. And how they manifest is completely random. Veronica has appeared both as an undead zombie and a ghost. Sometimes she even appears completely normal as if she hadn't been dead at all. The oldest of us have theorized that technically, we Witches are immortal and when we "die" our magical energy never does.
Needless to say, before we invented the holiday and traditions to hide this, Halloween was pretty spooky. Still is really. I, being the oldest living Witch, tend to draw a good number of them like moths to a light. So, every Halloween, I get to be woken up by weird sounds and a number of my fellow Witches in various forms wandering around my house. Not pleasant. I had to get a house, too, because having them show up while living in an apartment can make one not so popular with the neighbors.

Guardian Angels changes and new plot
General | Posted 10 years agoSo, currently, Saipia is a cyborg human-wolf hybrid, but I think I have a much more sinister and more fun idea for the series. It came after considering making the Guardian Angels series part of the Cityscape universe. That's not going to happen, simply because it would make things really complicated. Instead, however, I am going to make Saipia and the 15 Intergalactic cops from another world.
Saipia is actually the commander of a squad of special agents that help stop and track intergalactic crimes. What brings them to Earth is the machine the humans use to turn what will now be referred to as "Furrs." The machine is known as a Genetic Recompiling Machine or GRM. Originally intended as an advanced medical device capable of repairing skin, bones and even regenerating limbs and organs, it was banned once a scientist was discovered to have modified it for some pretty terrible experiments. This discovery came while Saipia herself was busy investigating a series of strange disappearances.
The scientist, Dr. M'Vora Ima, was arrested and the machine was banned and all but a handful were destroyed. However, the scientist eventually escaped and one of the machines that had sat in a museum was stolen. Because Saipia had been apart of the original investigation, she was tasked with catching scientist again. Upon tracking the machine to Earth, Saipia requested 15 of her top agents to help her find the machine and M'Vora.
It is actually Isan who stumbles into M'Vora while visiting a park. Upon learning of this, the 15 infiltrate the city to try and come up with a way to arrest this villain. This is when Saipia comes up with the idea of becoming the adopted daughter of another highly respected scientist, Dr. Ira Stovanich after determining that he was highly skilled in biology and was looking for a way to communicate with animals. He had given an interesting interview to a magazine. In this interview he talked about combining human DNA with animals as a possible solution. There were enough details that Saipia determined he had gotten his hands on the machine.
Saipia's new "father" quickly led her to M'Vora, who was his new wife, and was going by the name of Linda Summers It was through this relationship that Saipia quickly learned the truth of what was going on. Saipia's "mother" was trying to pit humanity against itself by using their own prejudice against them. Having only been on Earth for a few years, she had witnessed just how cruel and bigoted humans could be. Though her original intent was to use them for more experiments, this mad scientist soon decided that it would be interesting to see if she could collapse their society. So, she presented her new husband with the GRM which she had already started to modify to combine DNA.
It was M'Vora's idea to use Saipia as the first test subject. At the time, however neither knew who the other was. But, when the machine reacted very positively to Saipia's alien DNA and initially erased her human disguise, the truth about everything was revealed.
Although Saipia was indeed turned into a Furr and technically no longer wears a full disguise, she still must wear her Health and Security device which is in the form of a glass eye.
She is still a cyborg, as well. Yup. A cyborg alien Furr. But her prosthetic parts are beyond any technology available on Earth. So, only M'Vora and her engineer Kammy that can service her. But, Kammy, of course, is better and more trusted.
Lots of changes. I know. It's fun.

Cityscape Saga "Prophecy" trailer
General | Posted 10 years agoI stood there, not-so-humbled before the Keepers who had oddly, all gathered, which, by itself, would have carved a warning in my soul and, together with the news I brought, filled me with dread. They were all there. Not a one missing. With an invasion coming. An army was preparing and they sat there waiting to hear what I had to say. But who was I that deserved such things? "What news do you bring us, Veranda?" greeted Moqlin, an old female Snow Leopard.
Taking a moment to look at all of them and weigh my situation, planning to I choose my words carefully. However, in the end I determined that such an action was pointless, and I let a sigh escape my wolfish lungs in acquiescence "I had a dream." There was a silence. They were waiting for me to tell them why that was significant. "Of course, I have had many dreams, sure, but none like this one. Oh no. This one was special as is any dream one can remember once the light of day hits their eyes. Because in this dream I saw five wars waged across this world and another. Five wars which will shape this world and ultimately destroy it."
"So, a warning?" asked the same Keeper.
"No. Just a prophecy. I can see in your faces that what I saw cannot be changed," I replied.
"Is your magic so strong?" wondered Roi, a female rabbit.
I scanned her face and saw the genuine confusion in her eyes. "You have no idea. Which is just another warning to me." A Keeper, of all people, should be able to tell the strength of my magic.
"What of these wars?" inquired Moqlin.
In an effort to remember more clearly, I closed my eyes to see if I could make out the visions on the back of my eyelids. "The first is a war of magic and betrayal. Allies are coming, but with them, they bring destruction. Yet, turning away help is bad for everyone, but so is accepting their friendship. It is this first war that starts in motion the events for the following wars.
"Many others like me - us birthed in magic; we wise bitches; Witches of Great Power - will rise. And we will be instrumental in these wars. The second war will be between us and furless beasts from across the stars. A war started by Witches and ended by the same. But, before that, the world will be changed by the remnants of the first war which will lead to the birth of even stronger...artificial Witches. They will spark this second war.
"The 3rd War will be against Giants. The same giants we will fight in the first war, only stronger. They will come during a lull in magical power, but will be stopped by one with even greater magical power than I.
"The 4th War will be fought on a distant world by one who hates war.
"And her actions will spark the final war. The war that will divide us and destroy us. But then rebuild us. But, the world after this final war will not be Eden. No, the fifth war will destroy it. And the world left in it's wake will be sometime different altogether."
"How long?" Vila a fox wolf asked.
I smiled a wicked smile. "Do not trouble yourselves with things you will not be around to see till the end."

"The Woman" Series concept
General | Posted 10 years agoAll over the world there are sitings of the paranormal. Most consider these sitings to be false. But, that is because of one woman. At least...she appears to be a woman. One that refuses to give her name. Or a title. Those who have seen her have only seen her for a moment. She is there one moment and then gone the next. Yet, her skills at handling such things are unmeasurable. No one knows who she works for or where she comes from. She is simply...

PLEASE HELP!
General | Posted 10 years agoSo, my phone bill was due a day before Verizon got rid of their contracts. So, now I am past due because I don't have a job and have very little income. I am looking for work, but right now times are just a little rough. I am feeling very stressed and depressed and my anxiety is through the roof. So, I have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help pay off my phone bill. Once that is done, I should be able to just cancel my plan. Here is the campaign link:

Ferality universe concept
General | Posted 10 years agoSo, I have written some stories and books using feral animals. Ferality would be a reimaging of that. All my future feral animal stories will take place in this universe. It would be the universe for stuff like a re-writing of Cityscape with feral animals or The Wild Ones or whatever. It has wolves and dragons and what not. Anyway: preview time.
It has been understood for ages that there are three major kingdoms ruled by the three major tribes: Dragons rule the air, Wolves rule the land and Whales rule the sea. This is how it has been. This is how it will always be. But, such things are not without their struggles. And times are slowly changing. Occasionally, one of the tribes decides it wants to rule the others. All have done it, all have failed. But it is in the midst of these wars and battles that true adventure lies. Whether it is exploring the origins of the land or a pair of princesses that will stop at nothing to end a war and return peace to their tribes. Adventure is just around the bend.

Talla's back story is changing.
General | Posted 10 years agoSo, I really dislike Legend of the Legendary Heroes because every single one of the main characters has a tragic back story and it just gets boring and feels lazy. Reading through Cityscape recently, I have begun to think that Talla and Lauara's backstories are both pretty tragic and pretty much the same. So, I am changing Talla's. Now, I want her parents to not only be loving and supportive of her, but alive and well somewhere. This will be a stark contrast to Laura's family, and I feel it would be just better.
Jackal's new name decided
General | Posted 10 years agoJackal is now "Pyromyze." I don't know. I like it.
Talla's hero name changes and other names to change
General | Posted 10 years agoTalla's old name "Hawk" is out. It was stupid and with the Marvel movies out, it's been done. So...taking into account her split personality issues, and the hair trigger between her more Hyde self, she now technically has three names but only the final will be used.
Terrible Talla is the first nick name used. Then Crimson Coat because it is said her fur coat is stained crimson with the blood of her enemies. Once the attacks stopped and she gained her superpowers she became known as the Crimson Shot.
Brian's superhero name Blood Wolf might change. I might not even give him one in the end. And Eric Cole's superhero name of Jackal will most likely change. To what, I do not know, but I will let you know when I figure it out.

Cityscape History Characters Ironed out
General | Posted 10 years agoSo, History will have 3 parts, and each part will center around a separate group of characters with Aleksandrea being the center...This history will change one minor piece of historical knowledge on Eden.
According to the history of Eden, Amanda the Dark and Laura the Clear were the first witches to exist at the same time. I can tell you for a fact that is false. There have been many witches that have co-existed. Some were even good friends like me and Veranda. Others were responsible for one of the worst massacres in existence. And still others were around as the world went to hell and tried their best to stop it.
The First Gods Trilogy:
1. New Eden: Aleksandrea the Hidden and Veranda the Forsaken deal with the rise of the Witches, magic and their existence in general. 100,000 years have past since humans were kicked from Eden. Now, with the more humanoid animals roaming around and a threat to their planet, the first two Witches will deal with this new Eden together.
2. The God Slayers: when the use of magic gets out of hand and with the Keepers not doing much about it, four friends, four Witches: Catherine the Green, Alice the Wise, Aleksandrea the Dead and Tammy the Bloody will do everything in their power to help their world prepare for the coming war. And to bring magic under control. Only to have everything blow up in their faces.
3. Before the Graives: Xyryn the Silent, Cassidy the Pink and Alexandrea the Blessed fight in the First War. The events that play out here will set the world up for the Brethren and bring about an new Cityscape.

Life in Mars preview
General | Posted 10 years agoMy life boring? It sure used to be. I mean, my whole life I thought I was a asexual hermaphroditic jaguar. Nothing special. At least my sister is a melanistic jaguar. But, then I decided to move to a new city for college, which granted isn't all that interesting, until you consider that my hometown is small and Phobos is massive in comparison. Then, if things couldn't get any worse, I met a girl and learned quite suddenly that I am not asexual but demisexual. (if you don't know what that is, it is a person who doesn't experience a sexual attraction unless they form a strong emotional bond.) Trust me, getting your first boner on the way to lunch in front of a large crowd of college students is not that fun. Then I discover that she is a bit of a nympho with a fetish for herms. At least she knows I won't cheat, I guess.
But then there is the juggling of school and work and one of the Demois Graives is one of my teacher and all sorts of crazy stuff starts to happen to me. I never once complained about my boring life. I would much rather lead a boring life than this craziness. Although, I do love my girlfriend, even if she can be a big of an handful at times.
What can you say though? Life in Mars is full of excitement.

"Vicarious" preview
General | Posted 10 years agoSuperheroes? Yeah. They exist. You see them all the time on TV and in the news. Sometimes you even get to see them rescue someone or even rescue you. But I am not one of those people. I am not special nor am I super. I get up, go to work and come home. I have a family and friends. But I have had my fair share of run ins with them or their after math. Which sometimes is a blessing and sometimes a curse.
What would a world where superheroes exist look like if lived vicariously through the citizens of that world? Although Life in Mars has a similar idea behind it, I want to write a series without established superheroes and see what that world would look like through the eyes of the citizens. Also, Life in Mars probably won't feature any superheroes as it takes place away from such things. Vicarious would set the main character in a city protected by superheroes. I think it would be fun and interesting.

Lots of stories removed
General | Posted 10 years agoI have pulled the main Cityscape stories and a lot of stuff that is no longer cannon. I also removed the Naughty Dog series from this page as it is being moved to :DariaProductions:
Why pull Cityscape? Because if I eventually wish to publish the series, most publishers frown upon having it already posted like that. I don't know how I will publish it, yet, but it a precaution.

Naughty Dogs are Back!
General | Posted 10 years agoI will not be posting Naughty Dogs on this page, but on my Adult Content page
DariaProductions I am going to be posting revised versions of all the current episodes leading up to Episode 4: Black and Blue.
The new episodes will also feature a new icon and extended scenes as well as calling the combined human and animal souls "Anthros" instead of Genoids. Remember this takes place in my Guardian Angels Universe which I might also get back into at some point. Anyway, enjoy!

Xhaust Girls and the other car story
General | Posted 10 years agoSo...after much deliberation, I actually like the Pentathlon idea, so, I am keeping it. Only it will change its name to The Great Pentathlon and become a novella. Alyssa Connell will remain attached to that one.
Xhaust Girls will now blend a couple ideas. Captain Ammie Wyrn is a pursuit expert and an alien. Her skills come from her race's natural reflexes and quick thinking. Also, in this world, the top exotic car makers like Ferrari and Lamborghini were originally hired to build personal spacecraft. This is a practice started with Lamborghini and the crop circles were from the cargo ships transporting vehicles and cargo to and from the farms. And the Xhaust Girls is an all women team of crime fighters that specialize in pursuits.

Cityscape: The First Gods teaser
General | Posted 10 years agoThe called us gods. But we were not such things. We are simply citizens with extraordinary powers. And having such things is not good when you live in a time before such things were much more famous. Our existence in history has been underscored. Because how our reign ended is not something we like to talk about. However, it needs to be told.
There is a dark secret that Eden has kept buried for years. And soon, that secret will be revealed.
Author's note: The idea of telling Eden's history has been in my mind for a while now. And over the past 6 years that history has been shaped and molded. I then knew that I wanted to discuss a Medieval period on Eden because it would be intriguing especially with the magic and stuff which would turn a sci-fi series into more of a fantasy series for a bit. But...what if you threw in a bit more science fiction? So, The First Gods spawned from an idea I had about what will soon be The Wolf Queen who is a shape shifting woman who can take the form of a wolf, warewolf and human at whim. And it will be a series set in medieval times. Now, what if there were others like her? What would superheroes be like in medieval times? Well...wouldn't they be kind of seen as living gods? Or demons? So, The First Gods of Eden are just that: superheroes. And, at first, they are scene as gods in their local commmunities, but eventually word gets out and they are hunted down like monsters. In the end the focus on these "gods" causes a lot of stuff. While the Eden history books say that magic was given because of the fear of the incoming invasion, in reality the Keepers thought that they could level the playing field which just created more issues. And lead to the Magical Massacre.
Anyway, it will be a trilogy:
Part 1: Hedge Maze
Part 2: God Slayers: The Guardian War
Part 3: Graivediggers
It will be an interesting concept to run with and I cannot wait to write it, but there is still a lot of work to be done on the rest of the series and stuff. Anyway. later, everyone!

Life in Mars concept
General | Posted 10 years agoSet in the Cityscape universe, Life in Mars will be a series that takes place in the city of Mars. Set during the period between Books 4 and 5, see what it is like in a city state run by the Demois Graives, who are notorious for being quite brutal when they want to be.
But, this will not be in Demois., but in the smaller city of Phobos which is still technically run by the Demois Graives, but to a much lessar extant. It will follow the life a normal citizen and fan of the heroes of Eden.
This is always something I have wanted to do and have done a couple times: write a hero story from the view point of everyone else. How does the rest of the world see the heroes? So, this will be a good oportunity to do that.
No idea if the main character will be male or female or what, but maybe have a trans or herm character just to be different.
So...this will be something to look forward to maybe this year. I will probaby write an episode to test it out.

Good Help These Days series idea/preview
General | Posted 10 years agoI have been asked many times why I am bad? To which I always question why someone is good. What is good and bad, anyway? If being a villain is constantly trying to take over the world, I would argue my status as, although have come up with many plans, I have yet to successfully carry out one. Why? Because good help these days is hard to find.
Twin sisters. Ariya Marks is a philosopher that masquerades as a superhero fighting her psychologist sister, Olyvia who masquerades as a super villain. Neither have any powers, but they do have the brains and training to be very notorious. But, both have failed in their plans due to the lack of good help.

The Five Wars of Eden preview
General | Posted 10 years agoWe have come a long a from our humble beginngings. And but the path from there was not so humble. Nor was the end. After the Five Great Wars, Eden is just not the same planet it once was.
There was the Guardian War when Eden was invaded by pests that never really went away.
The Human War where the original caretakers pushed us to the breaking point.
The War of Giants where the pests returned and were eradicared.
The Pacifist's War which saw the Gods of Eden defend the planet Earth from an invasion and from itself.
And the Civil War. Those who defended the Gods, the Keepers versus those who thought what happened on Earth was going a bit to far.
After we stood against such things Eden was no more. But in it's place was a new planet. And inbetween it all there were many adeventures. Who am I? That is not important, but if you must know, they call me Aleksandrea the Eternal.

Bounty and Xhaust Girls
General | Posted 10 years agoAlright, so these two series are more of my light hearted series. Somewhat. They are my very sci-fi heavy series. Yeah, Cityscape has their it's stuff and Gracious has space pirates, but Bounty is much more light hearted and Xhaust Girls takes place in the Great Alliance Universe so, these two series will have lots of aliens.
Also, they are opposite story arches. Bounty is about a criminal who becomes a cop and Xhaust Girls is about a cop who becomes a criminal.
Yup. two really awesome and super fun series.

The twins and stuff
General | Posted 10 years agoI know you guys are sick of hearing about Cityscape, but it is what I am working on right now. I enjoy writing it, the characters are fun and it is an ever evolving world and is very fun to explore.
Speaking of the changing Cityscape Universe, there will be some markable changes to the series, like Laura's relationship with Brian. Also, Susan will now have a twin brother. His name is Caleb Grey Graives.
There is also the introduction of Witches. Witches are natural experts in magic. Most of the Witches are from the Graives family line starting with the Veranda the Witch of Forbidden Magic. She literally wrote the book on the illegal magic spells. Laura is technically a Witch herself, known as the Invisible Witch as she never uses her magic. Laura began slew of Witches. Never before had so many Witches been born so close together. Each generation seemed to produce one. From Amanda the Dark Witch, Ashley the White Witch and Celeb the Gray Witch. Caleb is the only known male Witch. But, twins like him and his sister have never been born. Susan inherited all the superpowers and is extremely powerful. She has very little magical abilities, the lowest magical ability of any member of the Graives or Wryght lineage. But she is damn scary. She will also remain a hermaphrodite.
I will also be posting some more stories eventually. I am going to be doing a couple little voice excretes series. One I have already started with "Feet." This is my "Reminders of God" series. Which will have each of the main characters discuss what they think are the thing God left as reminders of him and where they came from.
The second will be called the "Meditation" series and describe from Amanda I on the mothers and fathers of the Cityscape series meditating while the kids were young. This is actually important to the lore, as well, as the Amanda was the first to introduce meditation to the family and it has continued ever since.
And I will be doing a second part to my "Breakthrough" story which had a young evolutionist researcher inventing a way for a wolf to talk to humans in hopes of proving Christians wrong. The second part will be called "Veritas" and will have Viya confronting a religious fundamentalist group. Because, really, there are issues with both sides. In which case I will probably repost Breakthrough so it is closer to the front top of the page.
It will be a little bit before i get my computer fixed, though.
Alright, I think that is all for now.

New Cityscape series stuff
General | Posted 10 years agoGods of Eden will now be the five or six gods helping the planet Earth fight alien invasion of their own while in the middle of a civil rights movement.
And introducing Heaven and Hell: The Children of Ultima.
This will take place following the events of The Gods of Eden and tell about Mary Graives children who are the only recorded human and edenite offspring. They are gods themselves. There will be 7 of them. Each with a power pertaining to one of the 7 Deadly Sins and 7 Holy Virtues.
And finally the three short story collections:
Collectively called Episodes from a Street Corner they are individually:
