Anyone know how to shave some kilobytes off of a gif?

We Have Lost the Battle, Not The War
Posted 8 years agoSo the FCC just killed net Neutrality. The sky is still up, hellfire isn't spewing out of the earth, the moon ain't exploding.
The war is still going. It's going to take them months to implement this plan, and during that time, congress, Supreme Court, all that are going to have their sight right on he FCC...as long as we keep our sights on them.
There is still time for lawsuits and defense. 2018 is an election year, being your local government officials need to stay nice and popular, so YOU need to stay on their asses about this!! ISPs won't try any throttling or price shifts yet, because that'd show we were right, and the big boys would deal with this shit ASAP.
We have a few more months of breathing room, people. Keep fighting, keep on the pressure. The war for our internet isn't over yet.

That means more art, more characters, and hopefully a happier me! I have been a mess. Lots of stress. Lots of worry about where I'm going, if I've fucked up too severely to recover. I got some issues in the head. I know this. But that's okay. Just gotta keep going.

Rock and a Hard Place
Posted 8 years agoOn one hand: I've been unemployed for two years, and that sucks. I live in a dying town where getting a job is difficult, and my track record kind of sucks so far.
On the other: I am sick of being bullied, abused, and overworked at my job. There's a fuckwad who is always rubbing it in my face how slow I am, always commenting and not shutting the fuck up about it. Then, when he tries to show me the 'right' way, it is so blatently against the rules and training I got it makes my head spin. Someone who is working broiler should not, also, have to do the dishes, and cut up all the vegetables, and prep future veggies, AND restock the meat. All at once. Training says you're supposed to wash your hands in between doing all of those things, and yet if I did that I'd be yelled at for being too slow! Just, fuck this job. I want to quit. I go there, get treated like shit, and for what, minimum wage? Of course, then comes in the issue of I've been jobless for two years. So fuck me.
I just wanted to vent.

Life Update and fun character questionare
Posted 8 years agoLife Update: I got a job at Burger King now. What that means is that hey, now I'll have cash so you will all get my lovely commissions even more frequently! But, that also means my writing is going to be even slower while I adapt to it. I'm so sorry about that, really. Still, having a job after two years feels nice, even if I bitch about it a little.

What would completely break your character? Probably seeing a loved one killed in front of him, that'd be pretty bad.
What was the best thing in your character’s life? Figuring out how to use magic for the first time.
What was the worst thing in your character’s life? Having to watch an old friend die because of their mistakes.
What seemingly insignificant memories stuck with your character? Sitting at the dinner table with his adoptive parents.
Does your character work so that they can support their hobbies or use their hobbies as a way of filling up the time they aren’t working? Mostly high speed, high demand work environments, but looking for something a bit calmer.
What is your character reluctant to tell people? How long he's actually been around.
How does your character feel about sex? Something to be shared only as a solid form of trust/love.
How many friends does your character have? A few

What would your character make a scene in public about? Someone being a BIG dick.

So, I've been good and all that. I guess. Maybe. Not feeling too good while writing this but generally I'm good. Getting some writing done, so yay for that. Hope I can stick with it.

Posted 8 years agoSo, what would it take to sell some of these characters? A buy one, get one free deal? Reduced prices? Or best offers on them all? I got 186 dollars saved up, close to the goal, just a bit more people. If I could sell the big priced ones or all the smallies I am sure we could get there. Kinda desperate, hate to say it.
