Yep! It is done! From October the 31st to November the 30th I've drawn 31 pictures of a total of 34 characters! I've had lots of fun doing that, but I've also learned a few things... AND might've improved a bit in the process. Who knows, maybe some day I'll even do commissions? :O If anyone wants, that is.

I decided to take up a challenge of drawing a character picture on every day of November, starting today. This is to let me practice and also force myself to draw more, which I kinda neglected lately. So, the first picture is coming later today, the other 30 starting tomorrow and they'll keep on coming until the very last one uploads here on the 30th of November. Hey, I've just noticed that today marks the 8-year anniversary of me arriving here and so much has happened since then... It's getting better and better. Two months ago I left Warsaw and live with my  fryc together in Wrocław! Yeah, life's getting better!

So, I came across this compilation... I neither know French nor watch the show, but from what I've seen, it seems like it's about those little kids who are being bullied or get themselves into other troubles, so in order to set things right, they become heroes.

For quite a long time I've been collecting letters and postcards and thinking how great it would be to collect a least one from every country in the world. So far I've got ones from USA, Mexico, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and Sweden. And Poland of course. That makes 10 countries and 184 left. O_o' I know I'm asking for quite a lot now, but if any of you guys and girls from around the world wouldn't mind sending me a letter or a postcard, it would mean so much to me. And I'd gladly return the favor. I love snail mail. ;)

About the tragedy in Denver that happened today. It's going to be a little chaotic, but bear with me, I'll try to report as fast as I can, so I don't forget anything.
I had a talk with my dad. Yeah, it rarely happens, but sometimes it does. He told me about that 24-years old guy who, dressed like a Batman, stormed into a cinema in Denver and started shooting at people. (I already knew about it, but he told me anyway). He thinks that it happened, because the guy has watched too much films and played too many games, so he dressed like Batman and started shooting, because, I don't know, he thought he had extra lives or wanted to be a superhero? Dunno. My dad thinks it's because there are too many unrealistic games and movies where people perform unbelivable stunts like flying or jumping from buildings, but they have extra lives, so it's ok. He says that Obama said that he will try to prohibit games or something like that, so that this situation doesn't happen again. I tried to argue that one can't prohibit games (well they tried to prohibit alcohol once, right? unsuccessful) and it's not the fault of games or films, it's just that the guy must have been insane. Yeah, but it's games and films that made him insane, dad says. And then he got angry because he thought I was defending the guy. Yeah, well, I didn't. I just think it's impossible to ban all games and films that include unrealistic features or violence. They should ban them anyway, or else more people will go insane, he says. And that he doesn't understand how can I spend so much time sitting in front of my computer and that I don't sleep and that I'm already addicted to it.
Well, yeah, that's a different story. My dad doesn't like computers, because, like he points out all the time, he DOESN'T KNOW HOW THAT WORKS! and it kinda pisses him off that I do. Must be some kind of pride issue, he doesn't like the fact that I know some stuff he doesn't (like English and computer usage), so he likes to emphasize the stuff he can do. Same goes for job stuff. He says that if I don't work 8 hours a day 5 days a week, then it's not a real job. So, yeah, according to him, two years of English teaching is not a job. Same goes for picture commissions. It's not a real job, even if they pay nicely, because it's not tiring.
Well, the conversation ended rather quickly. When, during a conversations, my arguments are better than his, he gets angry and goes out for a smoke... So that's what happened.
Curtain.

1. After quite a long time I managed to finally finish and submit my MA Thesis. And now it's to wait for them to analyze it, after that the'll call me to set a date of my final exam. Hopefully I'll graduate and get a degree soon. I just hope I did everything right.

2. Last month or so I had chest pains and felt my heart racing as hell, so I went to see the doctor. Just to be sure, they performed ECG on me and found out that everything works fine, but way too fast. The doctor suspected hyperthyroidism, so he decided I need to have a blood test. So I did and the results were kinda surprising - the TSH level was way too high, twice the normal amount. That's a symptom of hypothyroidism, not hyperthyroidism. So something's happening with my thyroid, I'm seeing an endocrynologist on the 20th of August. As for the high heart beat - the doctor suspects too much stress in my life.

3. I'm almost certain that my dad's seeing someone. I'm not sure when did this exactly start. He would go out for the night and return the next day. Then it would extend to few nights in a row and now he's out every night since almost two months. I think this is getting serious. He kinda confessed to my brother that he 'will tell us one day, maybe'. I gave it a thought before and I thought I was ok with that. I'm not so sure anymore. I guess he's got a right to be happy with someone. I really don't want him to be alone and unhappy. I guess I just don't want him to forget about mom. And I certainly don't want that woman to enter into my life and boss me around.

4. What's with me avoiding people? I strive for attention, I talk with people, I joke with them, draw pictures for them, present them with gifts... And then, for some reason, I back out. Am I really that screwed up? I'm so lonely here, not having any friends around, spending most days at home, doing stuff. Why can't I talk normally about my feelings? Why can't I argue like a normal person? Why can't I express what I really think? Why, once asked, can't I specify what's on my mind? Why am I so prone to mood swings and depression states? Why do I choose to avoid difficult topics? Why can't I decide what I want? Why am I having suicidal thoughts? WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!

5. This year I was planning to move in with my mate, finally leave my home and start over in a new city. Not so sure anymore. Having second thoughts. Something's not right. Something's changed. I don't like where this is going. I'm nervous. Why did I allow myself to get my hopes up again? I should've known better...

Starting with the release of Harry's Unova Nuzlocke Challenge today, The Evolution Crew goes on a hiatus. I promise I'm still gonna return to it, once I gain some more experience in drawing comics. For now, all of my attention is directed towards the new comic. The reason is kind of simple... E-Crew has a darker and more complicated plot and it's too difficult for me to complete at this point. I'm definitely going to return to it in the future.

For now... It's time for a Pokemon Black Nuzlocke run, which I already completed and now turning it into a comic. I've already got some pages in stock, so I'm going to post a new page every Monday and Thurdsay.

Got lazy this year and didn't draw any Christmas picture...

If you want to make Feng Shubi (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3343744 - this dish) EXACTLY like I did, then you'll need:

utensils:
frying pan
wok

ingredients:
2 chicken breasts
3 whole peppers - red, green and yellow
6 chilli peppers (take 3 red and 3 green, it'll be more colourful :P)
1 courgette
2 onions
1 can of corn
1 can of red beans
1 can of pineapple
4 pickled cucumbers
3-4 cloves of garlic
oil

to make the sauce you'll need:
ketchup
soy sauce
vinegar
tabasco
you can add some condiments, I used '5 tastes of China' or something like that

How to do it:
- wash the chicken, then cut into stripes, add soy sauce and let it marinate for some time
- remove the seeds from all peppers. red, green and yellow cut into stripes, chilli peppers chop into little bits
- peel the courgette, then cut in two and hollow it with a spoon. then cut into stripes, just like peppers.
- chop the onions and pineapples into little bits
- chop the cucumbers into 'coins'
- fry the marinated chicken on a frying pan
- pour some oil in the wok and preheat it. then frizzle chopped onions in it.
- add peppers, chilli peppers, courgette and cucumbers, fry them in the wok until they soften. remember to stir quite often, so it won't burn...
- once the peppers and cucumbers soften, add the chicken fried earlier; also add corn, beans and pineapples plus some crushed garlic
- stew it for some time (I don't remember how long did it take, I just waited till the water from the bottom of the wok evaporated)
- at the end add the sauce: mix ketchup, some soy sauce, vinegar, tabasco and condiments in proportions that suit you best
- it's better to let it stew until it becomes thick, but once the chicken is fried it's perfectly edible.

uh, I really hope it's comprehensive. I'm not a professional cook, so I don't know how long should it stew or in what proportions you should add the ingredients. I rely on my intuition and it always turns out very tasty.

And just by the way, those are all the ingredients that I chose. You can freely modify the recipe, remove something or even add something as you wish. The recipe itself is very easy to do, but, well, requires a lot of chopping. Better get some help :P

there are people whom I like less than before, but usually I don't hate others

I've read many books, for example the Minotaur Wars trilogy, The Real Life Of Sebastian Knight and Le Petit Nicolas

I wanted to travel a little and got it

I liked Pixar's Up, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince wasn't bad either and Le Petit Nicolas was good too

I did nothing, most people actually forgot about it. I'm 22 now.

jeans, t-shirts and hoodies

don't really know if I'm sane

1. Will you be looking for a new job?
I'm pretty satisfied with the one I have now, so I don't think so

not LOOKING, but if I find one, we'll see

I don't think so

4. What will you do different in 2010?
I'll just stick to what is my life now

5. New Years resolution?
yep, at least one.

6. What will you not be doing in 2010?
I'll try to avoid doing stuff concerning my NY resolution

yep, I want to go to EF

nope

9. What's on your calendar?
days, weeks and months, duuh

summer vacations, but that also means I'll have to pass an exam in German

there are some things I'd like to change but then I'm not fond of big changes. silly I am, I know that

I never though my mother would leave me so early
