Modifying My Commission List (PLEASE READ)
General | Posted 11 years agoWOW! The feedback from this has been better than expected! Better to the point where I have people who are ready and willing to pay for a piece of art now but haven't been able to secure a spot! The thing is, some of these people have approached me days/weeks/months prior with the interest of buying art from me and because of the way I poorly structured this list, they're sitting and waiting for other people's work to get done.
Being an artist, but also someone who likes pleasing people, I tried to fit everyone into one place but wanted to get these pics done. But the reality is, some people are ready with their ideas completely fleshed out and others aren't! So because of this I'm adding a few extra slots for the people who are ready in the hopes that it'll keep me more productive. Instead of waiting around for a couple people, I can get right to these ideas while the other commissioners are at work or doing other things.
IN SHORT: I'm adding additional people so I can work on there pics while I'm not doing anything productive/waiting on others.

Shui's Steps to Self Satisfaction
General | Posted 11 years agoLately I've been feeling depressed and overall out of it in general. So I've isolated my problems and I'm going to tackle them.
1. Rekindle Facebook.
This is gonna keep me in touch with people I meet in the real, and also keep tabs on people I haven't seen in awhile. Enough being shy about shit, I'm just going to go back into being social.
2. Inquire about school.
I'm going to go for an Associates in Science Degree, and hopefully branch into a Liberal Studies program. It's well rounded and will open a lot of doors for me.
3. Find a buttfag.
This isn't the most important thing, but it'll feel nice. I've been a single cat for awhile now and I'm gonna branch out, local and otherwise. I'm gonna date and hang with people and not be so self conscious about shit.
4. Continue drawing what I like.
Commissions are a lovely prospect, but right now I want to draw what I want to draw. I could use the extra money, but art was never about the money for me. It's about the process of creating something you, and others, can admire. Trust me, your comments (and critique) are immensely welcome!
5. Exercise.
I'm joining a gym. I've downloaded a bunch of workout apps. I'm gonna devote a few days for exercise. I'm not fat or overweight, I just want to be healthier and tone up a little. Positive body image, y'all!

Every time someone tells me how far I've come from my beginning, it makes me feel really great, seriously. It's partly why I keep my old stuff in my gallery, to show that growth from beginning to now.
