I'm selling my shukie partial(minus the head) for £100, full shoulder length Armsleeve paws, feetpaws, and huge tail with squeeker!

so, in honesty, i trew a tantrum because rets refused to go to furmeets. even promising to go to one, for weeks, only to, on the day, outright refuse. so i threw a tantrum and ripped shukie's ear off.
after calming down, i went to access the damage, and work to repair it.

Only to find that the head was shoddily put together and generally a piece of rubbish.
held together with bad stitching and drops of glue to hold it to foamwork.
Though in truth, i was'nt really satisfied with the look of the head anyway, it did not meet my expectations.

I'll be attempting to save up for a new head by a UK maker, so that the shipping is'nt outragious.

So, thats why theres been no updates to this page, believe me, i want to be suiting and such, but, due to my own stupidity, in picking a shoddy, young, lazy maker, to then damaging the suit myself, i'll not be suiting for a long while.

Shukie suit is in the mail. 48 hour priority shipping. she should be here in a couple days. :33

ALSO: theres a furmeet on the 18th that i should be attending and my first time suiting.

Mutsu has finally completed the shukie Suit, However, i decided a hair tuft(floof) is needed since she appears abit bald.

But i should have her in about a week or two.

So i finally confroted Mutsu about it. and hopefully sometime between june and september at the LATEST, shukie will be done.
At this point, i told her i was displeased with having to wait this long. but i'm getting a extremely huge discount, which is very fair, given how long i have to wait. i just hope in the end that its worth it.
I will post pics of her as soon as i have them, to be sure.

I just hope that this whole Waiting game is ending soon.

I'm tired of waiting. I just want to wear her, take lots of pics, and go to meets and entertain.

I've spoken to muts, and due to the extreme length of time she's taken, i'm not gunna have to pay her much more than £100 or so. so about $200-ish total this will have cost me, not bad from the original 400somethin i was gunna have to pay.
But shukie might be the last fursuit she builds, as she's lost interest in building fursuits and would like to build theatrical costumes instead.

No real date on when shukie will be done now, but still, a huge huge discount for me, so i can treat myself to lots of nice things.

i think she will be working on trying to finish up shukie soon to get it done and out of her hair lol.


anyway thats the current status. all thats left for her to finish is the feet and face.

Unfortunately, my builder is rather busy right now and under alot of stress, so i wont have the suit this month as i'd hoped. BUT in exchange for giving her more time, i may be getting a discount. dunno how much for, but tbh, i'm in no real rush. I'm not going to any cons.. have no meets planned, so its all good. and discount = More money for me to spend on manga >=D lmao
Shes a sweet girl, so giving her more time is fine with me.
But not sure when Shukie will be done now. BUT i'll try to get some progress shots to upload or something soon.

As of right now, She and i are discussing the small details, such as which claws i shall have on the hands in order for me to tap on stuff and whatnot. cute little claws, not massive claw out childrens eyes sized claws LOL

Just a lil update!

Good news. The sewing on the head is complete. She looks abit dodgy right now, due to being unshaved, having no eyes, ears, or mouth bits. lol. but the sewing of the head is done. The feet are being worked on now. And she says likely end of april completion.

HOWEVER: money is tight so i will not be going to london for my first meet. a trip to london would be about £200 or more, which simon and i do not have spare at the moment. so the shukie suit will be shipped here to me, in birmingham, and i'll hopefully be going suiting, to local meets, or with local suiters in the city centre.
Its a shame i will not make it to london right away as originally planned, but thats life.

Anyway. Just a quick update. Expect pictures apon completion. i'll be hopefully doing a photoshoot for myself in the backyard, which will be newly grassed, hopefully be blooming with flowers, and so-on. Making for an lovily shoot <3

As of recently, work on the handpaws/armpaws has started. i opted for shoulder length arm/handpaws so that i have more clothing options with the shook suit. Frankly i find alot of long sleeve shirts ugly, so having the option to wear t-shirts with the suit is a deffinate plus. no fur work has been made on the arms/hands but the pattern has been cut.
ALSO: Furing of the head/face has begun. And the fur used looks extra soft.
Her ear patterns have also been cut out, and let me tell ya, they look adorable.
The tail patterns been cut out and the tail is MASSIVE. it is, going to be the huggable tail that will add a major element of cute to the suit.


This is just a little update, for you to see, akita, and for myself as a record of the progress.

More work has progressed on the shook suit. The foamwork for the head is 100% complete and the foamwork on the feetpaws has begun.
Muts/jasmine has been busy lately so work has progressed slowly, however, work is still happening and HOPEFULLY all this weekend will be about ME an the shook suit.

I've mailed out the shoes and hand tracing to muts and literally am £10 from having the overall total saved and set aside to give her when the asuit is completed.
This equals good news. means sometime within a week or so, shookie suit shall start being made, and i shall post some awesomely creepy/cute in-progress shit.

So just this week, i made the downpayment on my partial suit, to be made by my friend  marmitee who is a up-and-coming maker, with ALOT of talent. She will be creating the Shukie partial, due for completion and in my hands a few months befor confuzzled, which i will hopefully be attending!
