Plans never seem to work out XD
Posted 12 years agoWell I'm not going to end up getting the house now :/
It's a bummer but I've come to expect things to go differently than I plan. Which means I have no clue what to do now.
On a good note..
I've dumped near $1000 into my car (maybe more) but thats a great deal considering all that has been and will be done to it.
Replaced the EGR Valve, Coolant Temp Sensor, IAC Valve, coolant overflow tank, new plugs and wires myself.
Had a buddy replace the struts, and strut mounts and next he's gonna do the inner and outer tie rod ends and ball joints (come to find out they were the originals with all 211,000 miles on them :o ) and I'll have all new engine gaskets and a rocker knock fixed (although they were ALL supposed to have been replaced on that car when I acquired it...) in truth it was only the valve cover gaskets...
Anyways, the tie rods, ball joints, and intake/rocker fix with parts and labor will only cost $280 :D I LOVE having connections XD
After thats all said and done I hope to maybe save up to take a road trip :D I'm excited nonetheless. Sucks about the house but atleast I'll have a good car in the end :D Then I can test to see how close she'll make it to the 150 mark on the speedo *grins* :D :D

Attaching a tow behind sled that looks more like a dog sled to the back of a snowmobile and then climbing into the tow behind isn't the brightest idea.
However!
It was fun...
Until the sled hits a bump on a turn, flips, lands on my arm and proceeds to drag me a few feet then sends me rolling. Luckily I didnt break my arm. XD
Either way, the bruises were worth the adrenaline. Only had about 3 days where we could even take the snowmobiles out this year. Just like last year...

Posted 13 years agoFor the first time in 2 years, we actually have snow! It's amazing XD I actually had to dig my car out for the first time since I've owned it. I don't even remember the last time I had to bust out the snowblower, but I am glad I had it this morning :D :D Just about 8 inches fell last night, and we may have gotten 4 inches throughout the winter previously, but with a day of rain that was all gone.
My pup just got out of surgery yesterday afternoon and she is handling things wonderfully :) Very happy about that, although it's been tough keepin an eye on her to make sure she doesn't hurt herself pawwin at it. Back next week for a follow up appointment.
Ya know, I just realized that my dog's vet is famous throughout the country XD
Anybody ever watched The Incredible Dr. Pol????
Yep, thats my vet for the past 10 years. Maybe you'll see me on tv someday :o :o

Posted 13 years agoOk, well after a 6 month Hiatus, I have returned.
Things are going a lot better and, well some things are remaining exactly as they were. I've done a lot of thinking, and I've finally gotten the tables turning again. Been a good start to the year except for that cold/flu crap I just got over. Been doing my best at fixing up my car and gettin her back in good shape.
I've lost weight, yet again and I'm back down to 170. XD clothes are all baggy and I need a belt for pretty much every pair now, but I'm feeling great these days for the most part.
I have been extremely bored lately though. Nothing seems like any fun anymore :(
I really miss my friends. The few that have hung around and popped in from time to time to give me a smile! You know who you are and I really appreciate it. Truly sucks that we all live so far apart.
Anyways, why I bother posting these journals is beyond me. Just another way to spend 5 minutes I suppose. Only ever get 1 or 2 views anyways XD XD

Does the furry world really need Shuriken? The swift and obvious answer would be a big ol NO. Sure I've made sooo many friends. Very good friends. Friends I'd give anything for. Most, have moved on to other endeavors. New friends, new places. Thats very good! I've always only wished happiness for them.

2012 is a good year!
Posted 14 years agoSo this long downhill ride I've been unfortunate enough to take since 2007 is finally on the mend. I must say it couldn't have happened sooner!! I feel good again, and I feel happy. Things are finally going right and I couldn't be more greatful! I have a nice new car, I get to see my eevee and have her with me atleast every other night! I've also lost weight again (not that its relative to the topic at hand really) XD but it feels good to fit in all my clothes again and to have the need to put new holes in my belt!! Anyways, I'm sure there is more but I can't think of it currently so I'll leave it as is!
Hope everyones 2012 is as good as mine or better! *hugs*

Posted 14 years agoI completely hate my car! Why must everything break when I can't afford jackshit? I just replaced my brake pads probably 5 months ago, but apparently my caliper pister is hanging up a bit and has succeeded wearing my pad down to nothing already. Therefore I need new pads, new calipers probably, and if I don't get the issue solved very soon, new rotors as well. Brakes are cheap, although calipers run $60 a pop and rotors I'm sure are near the same price. Not to mention I still need the power steering pump replaced at one point since the pulley is loose and wobbly. Still needs an alignment. I need to get to the blower motor for my heater and see if it's clogged up with leaves. Gonna need new tires for winter. Hell, the only good thing on my car is the transmission (thankfully *knocks on wood*)

Posted 14 years agoAfter months and months of nothing I have made my own style of art. Heavily tribal based but man, does it ever just pour out of me. I can't draw long complicated things, so utilizing short strokes and the like I have finally found myself! I look forward to posting them so you all can see, and hopefully it is worth your eyes to see them. XD

So I have decided to do something I guess. Should I go back to writing?? Or should I take a paw to drawing instead?? Atleast with my writing I get a lot of laughs (Ode to Dryer Lint XD) Drawing, not so much. I'm just in the meh department for drawing ability :P
So what do you all think? I am that bored that I'm incapable of coming up with an answer..

Updated visuals really bring the series to its highest point! Not to mention the 3D which is gorgeous!! The touch screen really helps keep time spent in menu to a minimum. Allocating the X and Y buttons to hot key 2 items of your choice. Also two buttons on the screen are used to hot key as well allowing 4 items at your disposal at the touch of a button. I was like a kid again playing through this classic, and it's all in a portable package to take everywhere! This version also includes the Master Quest unlocked after beating the original. Nintendo has made this even more difficult than before and they have mirrored the entire map to confuse you. After the Master Quest is beaten a third game mode is unlocked which is a boss battle arena! I mean what more do I need to say? It's definitely not something to pass up! Especially when the 64 cartridges can lose save files with the slightest tap anymore :P
Updated visuals really bring the series to its highest point! Not to mention the 3D which is gorgeous!! The touch screen really helps keep time spent in menu to a minimum. My car is fixed...for now...bad vibration dampener caused the hose in there to keep poppping out...now on to the brake issue...
I've been taking tons and tons of cloud pics so if anyone likes that stuff maybe I'll post some. Also it's been hot here!!
As for my mood..it really hasnt been good...I'm ready to get the hell outta MI!!!
Anyways, it's a small update...not really of any importance, but, I'm very bored at the moment and this has taken up five minutes anyway... :P
