So, at the end of this month I am moving!! I apologize right now for being so in and out all the time, (haha that's what he said,) but I have been so busy in the real world at the end of summertime here. We're moving into a new place in a few weeks, and before that all my time has been spent looking at places. I've been trying to find a second job, and become a business owner at my first. I've purposly kept all my art supplies unpacked as of yet to finish up the couple things i need to do before I move, but I haven't actually had the time to sit down and do them. I'm going to try and whip them out today before my shift if not this evening, and then I may or may not be silent on here until I'm settled and internet is hooked up to the new place. So anyone on this site can tell it's declined since it's great years. There's not as much of an audience nor actual work being updated I feel, not compared to what it was a few years ago. And as I'm not about to become a popular porn artist on here anytime soon, I feel I'm not getting the most out of the community that I could.
Now I'm not about to leave here, but I've been thinking of making an art tumblr or something, where ever the community and the art really is! I haven't been on tumblr for a while though and don't really know where said community is though. Anyone around here know what's up?

I also apologize for how long it can take me to get work out sometimes. I work many hours to pay bills that are too high. I'm moving in about a month and a half give or take to a much cheaper apartment though, and I'm hoping that'll make my life easier and give me a bit more free time for things like art. c:

In trying to get back into the community and friends and trades and all that, I decided the next step might as well be a contest! Who doesn't like free stuff? And who doesn't like baby rats? Best of both worlds here, people.

But the down and dirty! Recently, my boy and I adopted a pair of rat sisters. They are both agouti berkshires, but one is hairless, and the other fuzzy! They've lived with us for a week now today, but we haven't been able to pick out names we like.

My current himalayan girl is named Izzy, short for Isiah, and her sister was named Eli/Elijah. I prefer to follow the trend of silly human names for rats, but there really is no requirements anyone has to follow.

As for the prize, I'm thinking some ratty artwork!! Mine and the winners fursona (or chosen character) on a rat-venture, being cute and squeaky and stuff.

Any species, any color, any hairstyle - It's really not that hard to incorperate. Right now I've only redone the wolf/husky base, and classic housecat base. But anything else - rodents, floppy eared dogs, deer, pokemon - I can pretty much do anything. And I'm not charging anything for these, they are FREE! Granted, if anyone wanted to throw me something (i love icons too guyses) back, I love and appreciate anything. But for right now, I just wanna make some people some art and get my page going again!!!

SOOOO I'm all moved into my new apartment and I FINALLY have gotten internet!!! ARGH. My previous provider couldn't be carried over to my new address, which I wasn't aware of until I'd moved in and tried to set it up.. So I had to order under a whole new company and then wait for THAT to get installed and just agjdaglsd it took way too long to get fucking wifi up in this bitch.

Just as the title says!! I'm moving this week, majority of my stuff is gone, including my workdesk. So while I'm still here and sketching stuff and whatnot.. I probably won't be very active or posting again until I'm settled.
This is probably the easiest move I've ever made though.. Despite bringing a couch up three flights of stairs, I'm literally moving four blocks away, haha!
