General | Posted 10 years agoLet’s face it, FA is ran poorly, it’s users are treated poorly, it’s security is poor, why keep subjecting yourselves to this? at this rate this site will die.
while I would suggest to fully jump ship, I can see why people would (somehow) still stay here, all that I ask is that you make the conscious effort to broaden your horizons, keeping all of your eggs in one basket will only end badly for you.
the better alternatives are https://www.weasyl.com/ with the help of http://exodushelper.com/ and https://goo.gl/fLQWwr (weasyl crossposter) then you have https://beta.furrynetwork.com/ with it’s own import tools, you literally cannot say “well it’s too much effort to copy my shit over” it’s mostly done for you.

Seems like here, FA, you are trying to frame the forum mods as bad guys by claiming we didn't sign the NDA that "protected user data", which in truth the staff didn't because you had requested government IDs off them and your insistence that they sign it especially after the FATransparency leaks were very suspicious.
Dragoneer, you said yourself that no one would be removed from staff if mods talked shit about FA, yet Renashe was removed from staff for that exact reason. Renashe is one of the most community focused people I know, she only strives to do what's best for the furry community. You could've used her as an amazing asset yet you threw her in the trash because she was "too critical".
But lets get to the important point:
The FA forums community DECIDED ON THEIR OWN MERIT to split from FA. THE COMMUNITY WANTED IT by an 80% margin on the forum poll carenath made. WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO THEM? This is a problem with FA as a whole. Each time staff members approached you with community focused ideas, we hit brick wall after brick wall of stubborn upper management. You claim you care about the community but you won't listen to them.
None of the upper management were even involved or even reached out to us during this mess. It was only Yak that was trying to liaise with us. It seemed like you didn't care at all and wanted to push it under the rug. You didn't say ANYTHING until your overlords IMVU got involved. General | Posted 10 years agoA particular artist (not going to be named) decided to migrate over to patreon, they are using patreon as a Pay Per View setup, they'll draw, crop like 10% of the image, post that to FA then link to patreon.

What gets me was that they posted a journal saying "im still posting art to FA weekly, dont say shit about me" was basically it, I casually point out "you're last ACTUAL posted image is 4 months old..." Then someone left a reply to me, I try replying to that, I found out that the artist in question has outright blocked me for pointing out the obvious that everyone else can see, I wasn't rude, I wasn't a dick.
The artist in question is however a dick. they burned their fanbase, they hide any and all artworks behind a paywall, *here's a cropped image of a toe, click here to spend $15 to see more* posts on FA, then block anyone that has the least offensive comment.
