Hey everyone! Happy New Year! I’m still alive! 2017 has been a hectic and life changing year for me. So for those wondering why I stopped posting art is that I have been incredibly busy this year dealing with school, family, and work. But it didn’t stop me from drawing and making art. Actually I have dozens of new sketches that I haven’t posted yet. I am trying my best to become more active now that my life is becoming somewhat stable now and I am trying to make 2018 an awesome year.

I don’t want to write a novel of what went down, so here is a breakdown of my life in 2017:

- I graduated from 4-year college!
- Now have a full time stable job at a tech company with decent pay (Too exhausted to finish art after work).
- Multiple relatives with health problems, been having to do multiple hospital visits on a daily basis (More stress to my life, and luckily everyone is fine).
- I have launched my business Vulpe Creations as well as a collaboration of the group AwooCru with some awesome furry car enthusiasts.
- More merchandise will be made and events will be held.
- I’ll be attending a bunch of cons in 2018 including a table at Further Confusion.
- Biggest cons I’ll be attending are BLFC and San Diego Comic Con. Maybe MFF??

Pretty much I’ll be everywhere at Further Confusion 2017 in San Jose, California from January 12 to January 16!

Last year I had a few pieces for sale at the art show and it was a complete success! Everything was sold as well as my business cards were depleted! Which means I’ll be selling more exclusive canvas prints at the Art Show for FC 2017!

After testing my successful dealer’s table at PAWcon for two years, I think it is time to upgrade.

Sorry for the lack of art the last few weeks (or months). I have been extremely busy with work, school, and house renovations. However, this doesn’t mean I haven’t stopped making art. Actually, I have been making more art than ever before. :D I’ll be posting some of my new art soon after they are checked out and critiqued by art professionals which is cool they like the progress on them so far.

Just a heads up, the last convention I’ll be attending this year will be a small furry convention in San Jose, California known as Pacific Anthropomorphic Weekend. It will be held during the Halloween weekend from October 30 to November 1. For the fun of it, I’ll be wasting my time as a dealer that weekend. XP I’ll be selling mostly custom furry sticker decals as well as a few of my prints if anyone is interested. I won't be doing any onsite commissions due to my busy schedule, but I will be cutting custom decals onsite. This is very rare for me have a table at a convention, so stop by my table and say hi! :)

I’m still alive!

I have been extremely the past few months with school. Now that I finally finished all my exams, projects, formal presentations, and papers, I am now free to draw and do other things!

I haven’t been updating lately on this site due to the recent problems FA has been having lately. I’ve been seeing good artists having their original content being deleted and the user traffic hasn’t been the same as before. Lately I have been uploading all my artwork on my Deviant Art and my Tumblr page where there is more user traffic.

I was recently at BABScon 2015 and I had a blast. Even though it was a Brony convention, technically it was almost a furry convention with all the fursuiters and furries in attendance. I had a great time hanging out with both the old and new friends. I have done a lot for this convention this year and I hope to do more for next year such as make more art and actually be more prepared.

As for upcoming conventions, I’ll be at BLFC 2015. I will only be there from Saturday morning till Sunday afternoon. I have an interview on Friday so I’ll be leaving to BLFC early Saturday morning. I got snowed out last year because of the storm. It is said that it’s suppose to snow this upcoming Thursday (Of all the months it haven’t rained or snow, it snows on the weekend of BLFC).

Like every year, I’ll be at FanimeCon 2015. This will be a great stress reliever from all the work I have done this semester. :D

After FanimeCon, I actually hope to get more drawings done and do more commissions. So expect me to try something new. :)

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of drawings and updates lately. I have been extremely busy with school and projects lately to get any anthro drawings done. Along with my busy school schedule, I have done a lot this year that I am very fortunate to have experienced. I started off the year by celebrating New Years in Las Vegas with some friends had an awesome time (Whatever happens there stays there). As usual, Further Confusion 2014 was a must go for me and great time as always. Sadly I couldn’t make it to BLFC due to the snow storm and hopefully I can make it in 2015. :D

Like always, FanimeCon 2014 (Northern California’s largest anime convention) always steps up there game every year, especially with the revamped registration. No longer have I had to stand in line for more than 7 hours for registration.

Along with attending the usual furry convention and anime convention, I had to attend a brony convention. For a first year convention, it went over my expectations. BABScon 2014 became the second biggest brony convention in the world, along with having the most celebrity guests of honors to attend brony convention. Overall, I had a blast at this convention and for sure to be back in 2015.

From furry conventions to anime conventions then to brony conventions, I had to hit the king of all geek conventions. Comic Con San Diego was a life changing experience. I was fortunate to get last minute tickets to this exclusive event. From my years of experience attending and working at conventions, this convention is a convention I have never experienced. You would never know who you would see and you’ll never know what you get. The challenge I had at this convention is timing. I just have to be in the right place at the right time to see and get out most of the experience of this amazing and crazy world.

As my income was still recovering from Comic Con, I checked out SacAnime with  ApSykes and  Inashne117 and met up with  savagecat and  silverwolf16. The convention was pretty good and a good size for a local anime convention considering I just came back from the world’s largest geek convention. :P

To end my convention streak, I checked out PAW 2014. This event was more of a big furry hangout rather than a convention, which was the intention. Thanks to the people that worked hard to pull off a last minute event. I had fun hanging out and I great time helping  savagecat make a furry improv dance video. Of course, there were conventions such as Rainfurrest, Anthrocon, and MFF, and events like EDC and Burning Man I wanted to check out. But due to my time and income, I had to put them on hold for this year hoping to go next year...

Now that I just finished finals, I now have more crap to do to end the year off. Next on my list is to go to Japan for a few days (JDM yo!). I hope to get some JDM stuff and check out Akihabara while I am there in only less than a week. I would stay longer but the main purpose of this trip is to spend time with my family in the Philippines. From previous experience of being in the Philippines, this trip isn’t going to be a normal family get together, there would be more partying and deadly fireworks. So I hope to return stateside in one piece.

Yup, I’ll be at the biggest comic book convention in the world this week! Just a regular attendee in the middle of the scramble of fanboys and nerds.

I'll be stopping by in the SoCal area on Wednesday, then I will be at the San Diego Convention Center by Thursday morning ready to go!

This is my first time attending this convention so this would be an experience of a lifetime with the biggest names in pop culture and the big blockbuster celebrities all in one area.

My main goals of this convention is to check out the panels, grab the exclusive merch’s, meet new people, and of course have fun. :D

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend Anthrocon this year. I had a great time last year meeting all the furs I met here on FA and it was fun hanging out with everyone. It was an experience of a lifetime. :D However, my budget can’t handle two major conventions in a month, so Anthrocon has to be put on hold for now.

I originally planned Anime Expo Los Angeles for the 4th of July weekend, but I have decided I will be spending time with my family by doing a road trip somewhere else for the weekend. I left them behind during Anthrocon last year, so I decided to have some family time before I head out to do my own things.

Once I get back, I’ll be helping host a huge rafting party in Sacramento on July 12. The party is open to anyone, so if anyone wants to join, let me know as soon as possible for more details.

The weekend after, I’ll be checking out the Blox Evolution car meet in San Francisco. I am also planning to have a car/model photoshoot that same day. Need to awesome photo of your ride? Hit me up. :)

Last but not least, to end the month of July… I will be attending San Diego Comic Con for the very first time… RIP my wallet and bank account...

Just when I am in even more debt, in August I will be at Wekfest San Jose and at the Monument Tour in Concord.

Starting September I’ll probably be on hiatus until December because of my hectic school schedule. I will occasionally check messages but furry artwork will be put on hold.

Once the school semester ends, I have another international trip planned for the winter holiday season. :)

Otherwise, I will try my best to attend the regular furry meetups such as Chicken, Bowling, and Frolic… depending on my busy schedule. :\

For some reason, a bowling furmeet (and a drift meet) was scheduled during the same time of an anime convention that are on the opposite sides of the bay…. This is why I wasn’t able to go to the furbowl meet, and I had to give this convention a shot…

For those in the San Francisco Bay Area, this anime convention could be second place to FanimeCon when it comes to size and entertainment. Even though it’s a small anime convention, there was plenty to do with it is being held in the famous Japantown San Francisco. Since this was a small convention, there were plenty of time to chat with some awesome artists such as Yuumei (http://yuumei.deviantart.com/) and John Joseco (http://johnjoseco.deviantart.com/). There were plenty of cosplays of Homestuck, Sailor Moon, and Ponies, so this was an entertaining meetup as well. This was my first time attending the convention and I was surprised to see some Further Confusion people hanging about. I also saw a few questionable “furries” roaming around, but no fursuits. I only saw one person wearing a werewolf suit and that’s it (same one from my photo shoot last year at Fanime).

Next year, we need to take over… with fursuits. If you haven’t been to Japantown SF, it is a perfect area for photos since the area is designed to look like an authentic Japanese architecture complete with Japanese gardens for tourists. So if you haven’t heard of this convention yet, it is definitely something worth checking out if you can’t wait for FanimeCon any longer.

Japantown San Francisco also holds anime events throughout the year such as the J-Pop Festival and more, so I will be posting some upcoming events here and on my Twitter (https://twitter.com/Fvrlife) for those interested :)

Update: One event also coming to San Francisco Japantown is the J-Pop Summit Festival, well known J-Pop stars appear here, as well as some decent cosplay. Just announced to be held on July 27 & 28.

We survived and it is finally 2013. I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and New Years. I have been on hiatus for while due to finals, surgery (wisdom teeth extraction), and family time, but now I am back! I don’t have a solid New Year’s resolution since I forget about them after a day. However, I am starting fresh for 2013! First off, after Christmas, I got myself new DSLR Nikon lenses to play with. A 35mm lens for indoor photos and for those pesky furries. And I also got 55-300mm telephoto lens for some motorsport photography. Expect me to use them during FC 2013 to get some awesome shots! Other than the new camera gear, I also got a new 18 inch graphics tablet for my pc. I still have my old 5.8 inch graphics tablet for my laptop when I work outside my house. To go with my new drawing tablet, I had Adobe Creative Suite 6 installing on my PC before the New Year’s ball dropped. Right when the clock hit midnight, CS6 was ready to start the year off with some new artwork.

This might be a lot of stuff for me, but I spent my money for the sake of entertainment for you guys and for the people that enjoy looking at my artwork, either my photography or my drawings. I would’ve used the money to buy new parts for my car and go hella flushed, but I decided to just wait. Even till now I haven’t done any real mods on my car for the past few months due to school and life. The extra money has to go into my $1,400 tuition fee this month…

Now with family time is over and January is here, it is time to focus on getting ready for Further Confusion :D

This actually came out Sunday and I just got it today with my busy schedule.

To make the long story short, a Ferrari and a McLaren decided to go to a BRZ/FT86 event at the California’s Auto Club Speedway. They apparently started a scene and caused damage to one of the turbocharged BRZ’s on the track. Luckily the BRZ looks repairable, as for the MP4-12C, it looks like it will be scrapped… No one knows whose fault it was, until they find the “missing” Go-pro footage, but what I have been reading, sounds like the McLaren owner is a douche.

In other news, Initial D Fifth Stage will be releasing in one month (on 11/9/12):D

Yeah, it's finally coming out with a new anime series. :D

After 5 years of waiting, the author of the series announced in his latest manga that a new Initial D anime series will be releasing.

More details will be on his next manga which will be released in August, so I have a feeling the famous Hachiroku will be making a comeback in 2013. :)

This anime was one of the reasons that got me and mostly everyone I know into cars and drifting... I just hope the waiting is worth it. :D

My car scrapes every now and then when I am careless going through bumps and dips but I thought this was funny when President Obama's heavy duty limo "The Beast" gets caught on a metal gate bump in Ireland. XD The BMW scrapes the gate and keeps going. But the custom eight-ton Cadillac limo, that was made to deflects RPG's and bullets, makes a dead stop as the limo's undercarriage gets caught on the gate while going over a hump. XP

Ok I just need to get something out there to help me relax. So here it goes....

Within the start of 2011 till now I have been pulled over by the local San Jose City Police three times for BS reasons. First time for "thinking" I had no front license plate which I clearly had. Second, they thought I had illegal modifications on my car. Third they thought my car was stolen.... Luckily I got out empty handed. But it is not just the cops, mall security thought I was breaking into my own car. And they said they were watching me on camera the whole time....

Never in my life I have had any ticket or problems with the authorities. Until now.... today was my normal Monday, parked at my usual parking spot at my crowded campus parking garage. Until I went to my car to pick up some books.... I see a parking citation on my windshield. My $200 parking permit was valid so I didn't know what to problem was. I went to the police and they told me I got a ticket for "hazardous" parking. Basically, they took 360 degree photos of my tire hitting a millimeter over the line. Clearly, the other cars around me had plenty of space to move in and out... So on top of my $200 permit, I just paid $65 cash on top of that. And my car will be on record, so if I get 4 more citations, my car will be impounded.... and this is only my first year parking there...

This maybe a simple parking citation to other people, but to me, it makes a big deal since I am trying to stay clean and get off records as much as I can.... (luckily this isn't going to my insurance)

Just a warning to people planning on driving in or to California, cops here are hella strict now than they were three months ago. Yes, our cops does sport compact profiling. That means they pull over any Japanese compact car that they believe has illegal modifications. Cops don't care about choppers or muscle cars as much.
