So I took the time out to browse other artists work. Now, all this time I've been comparing myself to others, trying to collect, from other digital artists, ways of creating colored work considering, outside of the digital world, I'm selectively a sketch artist. I never "finish" any of my pieces that are on paper. So, in browsing around, I've noticed, some people just don't give a rats ass. They, in my eyes, have poor quality color, and even worse body proportions. I'm not saying mine are perfect, and all art is, honestly, subjective. However, when someone takes time and effort into their work, it SHOWS. These artists that wore their talent out have lost that quality. Now, some, that do it for a living, they do nothing else and spend all their time working on commissions? Oh, hell yes, i 87% of the time, love their work. Because they put time into it. They don't rush it. I just got done browsing a gallery that honestly, made me disappointed in the fur community for even considering buying that heap of garbage someone called art.

And once again, I have to say, all art is subjective. What I find a disgrace, someone else may find the most beautiful masterpiece they have ever seen. BUT, in general, we all know what quality furs look like. And this, was not it.

So, in thinking of all of this, I've decided, screw it. This weekend, I'll be busting out four colored pieces since no one bothered to pm or text me about a commission, and we'll see how the four colored pieces go. Two will be rushed, two I will spend Half days on. I'll see which get more views based on content and quality.

Social experiment everybody!!!! Cause the human error intrigues me.

I'm in the process of moving right now, so I wont be doing any digital illustrations until the end of next month when I have my computer set up at my new place. All art will be traditional and probably low quality for now since I only have my phone's camera to take pictures with and its...well...I refer to "Fancy Footwork" for this. Lol.
I will be starting on unfinished work here soon for Silver, and a few other things I had stated I would work on as soon as my comp is up and running.

So, my irl mate isnt into the whole Furry thing.
Which makes being Myself a bit...hard to do.
He accepts that I draw this kind of thing, but would never agree to participate.

So I'm looking for an online Mate I can be myself with. Someone who understands the mind of someone like me, who can help me grow as an artist and as a member of the Fur community.

I have placed all requests/commissions on hold for a bit. Probably just a few days. I might finish the cell shading for Fennic, but other than that, it's all on hold. I just watched robocop and honestly want to try my hand with Robots. Be it limbs or full body. Aka robot ferals, anthromorphic, or organic with robotic limbs/sections. This includes wiring and plating of the sections. I apologize for any inconvenience but as most of you know, I go by feeling, random inspiration. For this reason, is why I dont go to school for my art, nor have I ever because if I cannot find the subject inspirational, I cannot sketch it. I will not sketch it.
So, for now, imma do a robot study.

Got distracted last night with depression, so no artwork was done. However, I did come to a very odd conclusion. I am a homosexual make stuck in a females body. I dont really know how that works, out, but I've always identified myself as male but was only interested in males. So, in this answer I've decided to make a new fursona. I havent decided on the animal, but it will be a seme.

I'm going to work on a bust for Otter and Wolfgang tonight as well as a small cell shading project. In addition, I'm going to upload sketches of some action shots of Asher, and some facial expressions.
The bust for otter is to mess around with color since she's the whole god damn rainbow. XD

So, the picture I recently uploaded of the couple, I would like to turn into a small one shot. However, since my role model, Jay Naylor, has two web comics relating to furries, I would like to do the same. I have a few ideas and I will be putting the sketches of the main characters up as I brainstorm. I would like eveyone who watches me for their input and ideas on plot and character design and development.

An artist is nothing without its people, so I want to make everyone a comic that they will enjoy and remember. So all ideas are welcome before or durring the making of the comic.

So, I'm trying to get better at coloring. I think I have the basics down, now I'll be working on line work only. I need to get better at final line work so my style is better. I wont be going for realism, for the fact I can barely do that on paper. If I ever get better at it, I will show you guys, but for now I will retain my anime-ish style. I will be puting up some line work pictures today. Probably only two. Starting monday, my furaffinity and my deviant Art will have at least one new picture on saturday and sunday nights. Can no one appreciate a simple sketch of an old furry couple? Even on my deviant art 7 people viewed it, not a damn one favorited it. Four people have viewed it on here. Honestly? Just because it isn't colored and it isnt some hot fur on fur action, doesnt mean its not worth showing appreciation an artist with (At least real life, not digital art modification yet) talent, took the time to realize, hey, no one has done this before, or at least not that I've seen, and actually draws the mother fucker.

Old couples. I see a shit ton of young couple furries, yet I have not seen an old couple.
My next project I'm going to make an effort to complete a cute old furry couple. It should have color,
however as you all have noticed, I havent gotten down the art of coloring my stuff or cleaning it up all that well in photoshop.

Okay, so you all know I've been working with Photoshop since Christmas. I've finally figured out the pen tool. I'm trying to get better at coloring, and slowly but surely getting there. Any comments or advice are greatly appreciated.

"Why We Shout In Anger"

A Hindu saint who was visiting river Ganges to take bath found a group of family members on the banks, shouting in anger at each other. He turned to his disciples smiled and asked.

'Why do people shout in anger at each other?'

Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose our calm, we shout.'

'But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you? You can as well tell him what you have to say in a soft manner.' asked the saint

Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the other disciples.

'When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance.

What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small...'

The saint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.'

He looked at his disciples and said.

'So when you argue do not let your hearts get distant, Do not say words that distance each other more, Or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.'

after an hour of research and ten minutes of crying out of frustration.
