44th Journal Happy Halloween
Posted 11 years agoHappy Halloween and so on stay up watch spooky movies, eat candy and rot your teeth out an so on and so on...and now for a scary story muhahahahahahahahahahaha!
I'd like to share my own creepy story. This isn't so much scary as it its more so creepy/unsettling.
The following is a true story that happened to me about 10 years ago when I was 16/17.
I was living at my mother's at one point I slept in the front room (which was near the front of the house on the second floor) on a nice big futon. Mother slept at the room at the other end of the house and my brother slept in the middle room (which is where I sleep today but that's irrelevant). Now my mother had this doll that's about 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall. She had it since the 50's and it used to sit in the hallway wedged between a small cedar chest (I think) and a filing cabinet (don't ask) while wearing this weird looking Halloween mask of a person greatly dehydrated. The mask looked too big to wear on the doll so it flopped around each time one would pick it (the doll) up. One Friday night, mother was moving some stuff around and she had the doll in my room, sitting on the right side of a chair. Normally this never bothered me as I never cared much for the doll. I found it weird, but also cool to see a toy from 50 years ago. Anyway I had place my school bag on the chair opposite the doll laying away from the edge of the chair so there was a good 10-11 inches of space between my bag and the floor. (I'd also like to point out at this chair where the doll sat was one of those old-fashioned looking chairs. It sat kinda low to the ground and the seat was quite big like you can lean back in the chair quite a bit. If I had a picture I would show it) I turned off the light and went to bed. I like to say that the light switch is near the door to my room so means I would have to get up and actually walk from my bed to the light switch passing about 4 feet from the doll. Now when I sleep in bed I always sleep facing the wall (Don't know why I just do) I wrapped myself up in my blankets cause it was kinda chilly that night. I wasn't sure how long it was before something happened (maybe 5 mins or 10) I heard a thud. It surprised me for a few seconds, but that all changed very quickly. At this point my heart began to pick up its pace beating faster then normal. I Laid perfectly still scared outta my wits. The only movements I made where those extremely discreet movements you make to have it look like you are sleeping when you're not. I wanted to turn around but I dare not. I knew my bag could not have fallen off on its own. I had it laying almost on its back, facing AWAY from the floor. So the only way it could have fallen is if someone pulled it off. I'd also like to say at this point I did not hear anyone come into my room. So before you say ANYTHING my house is quite old and the floors creek like crazy especially upstairs, so I would have at least heard someone (since I had not quite fallen asleep, I was fully away cause you cannot be asleep and feel *that* scared). Not to mention I always sleep with the door closed, and the door to this room was shut, it takes quite a bit of effort to get it open. Like you have to give it one good push to get it open. After a few moments of worrying myself I slowly turned around (still wrapped up in my blanket.) lifting it up just enough to see. From my dimly lit room, I could see my school bag on the floor right in front of the chair. My door was shut and I was tempted to go turn the light on. Though it meant I would have to pass just a short distance from the doll. After maybe 25 seconds of thinking I got up and made a quick B-line to the light switch. I clicked it on and nearly jumped back to my bed, putting myself at a safe distance from the doll. A few items from my back laid on the floor but nothing huge. I looked at the doll and I approached it carefully, like I was expecting a 50+ year old doll to say something to me (I also wanna say that this doll in question wasn't one of those "Mama" chatty Cathy dolls things). I then quickly grabbed the doll by the arm picked it up and placed it in the hallway where it was once and went back to my room and shut that door tight. I slept with the light on that night and since then the doll has remained in the basement. I do go down there and I see it but I paid no mind to it and just do what I need to do in the basement and leave.
Though I'm sure this was me being and over active/frightened teenage boy but I can tell ya this, that doll creped me out that night and I have 0 interest in sleeping in a room with that damn doll everagain.

It was then on that day I heard of the attack on the world trade centre. May the victims who died that day be remembered and hope the people who lost loved ones still carry on :). RIP to those who tragically lost their lives that day!

Posted 11 years agoI forgot to do this buuut I will now. I know its a bit late so forgive me for this. Anyway, A few weeks ago (or a week ago) my mate (thanks to his father whew!) and I got a chance to see Queen with Adam Lambert at the ACC. I got to see two awesome rock legends Brian May (Guitarist) and Roger Taylor (drummer). Also Roger's son who joined his father in some drumming. Was nice to see those two in person for the first time too. I sang every sing song they played hah. Adam Lambert did a good job buut can't be no where near Freddie :P. Never the less I had awesome time hehe wish I could have gotten one of those Queen tour shirts but whatever next time if they tour again I will get one for myself and my mate :P. ROCK ON!!!!
35th Journal Anime North
Posted 11 years agoWell I was at Anime North this past weekend with my mate. Had an awesome time x3. Got some awesome pictures there by some amazingly talented people there, a cane sword (yes I have one x3) and a ring for my mate (one that Cloud 'Emo' Strife wears in FF and a picture for him (some cute character from WOW/LoL I don;t know I don't play that on-line nonsense). Stayed at the Hilton Hotel (One that was past the Sheraton Hote so walking time was about 20 mins not bad mind you and I had my umbrella to keep the sun off my head hahl). Sadly I never once set foot in the International Plaza Hotel (Formerly the Double Tree Hotel.) So I probably missed out on some cool stuff in there hah. I took a lot of pictures and what not. I was also gonna get a gift for a friend but I had to withdraw sadly (mainly so I can pay off the hotel fee on my credit card) if there is one thing about cons I find fun (one of many actually) is the amazing costumes you see there (Followed by the incredible art you see there and so forth) 2 funny things about are this:
1) You walk into a dealers den/artist alley and go "Here just take my $%^&ing money!!"
2) Financial Suicide: Where you spend more $$$ then you intend to and see the bill a week later and cry tease of Financial loss xD

Posted 12 years agoToday is the 22nd anniversary of the death of Freddie Mercury who died on November 24th 1991 from AIDS. He was an amazing singer, frontman, song writer and many things that made Freddie who he was. This was Freddie's last statement he made 24 hours before he died
"Following the enormous conjecture in the press over the last two weeks, I wish to confirm that I have tested HIV positive and have AIDS. I felt it correct to keep this information private in order to protect the privacy of those around me. However, the time has come for my friends and fans around the world to know the truth and I hope that everyone will join with me in the fight against this terrible disease." (Statement released on 23 November 1991)
Lets keep fighting against the spread of HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of the disease that claimed so many!

Just for spooks an all I will share a scary story >:3
A young couple had moved into a new house for the first time and where quite thrilled. They had a fair bit of unpacking to do and it would take more then just a day to do so. Roughly three days later, the husband came downstairs and in the middle of the hallway he found a red crayon. It was just laying there as if it was dropped or purposely placed there. The young couple didn't have any children yet, so he picked up the red crayon and tossed it in the garbage, thinking it must have belonged to the previous family who had lived here who had maybe a few small children. It was not long after that the wife found the crayon in the same spot it was in no more then a week when she first saw it. Confused she picked it up and tossed it once more in the garbage. A few days later the wife found the crayon again. Thinking her husband was pulling a childish joke on her. She went to him asking about the crayon and its constant reappearing in the same spot as before. He looked at her questioningly "I have no idea what you're talking about." He was just as confused as she was. As before the crayon was tossed back into the garbage.
One night as the couple where bedding down for the night, they head what sounded like a rubber ball bouncing in the hallway. They sat up and listened carefully wanting to make sure that it was not maybe coming outside. The wife got up pressed her ear to the door, and sure enough it was coming from the hallway. They silently made the way out of the room and peeked around the corner down the hallway. They saw a silhouette of a child probably no older then nine years old boy. The child was bouncing a rubber ball. Just then the child stopped bouncing the and spin around in an almost unnatural fashion. A loud scream far too loud for a child to even remotely make broke though the darkness followed by rapid footsteps. In great fear the couple dashed for the safety of their room and slammed the door shut. They pressed against the door. The only thing they heard after that was sobbing, then what sounded like something being being written on the door. Footsteps were heard retreating followed by the sound of sobbing getting fainter and fainter. The wife whispered in an terrified tone "Who...was that?" The husband shook his head unsure how to answer. He grabbed a flashlight from the night table and turned it on. Slowly he cracked the door open just a few inches. Despite the pleads from his wife turned to her "If this child is in here we need to help him." She followed close behind her husband. The bright beam of light illuminated the hallway when they got to it. Where the boy stood moments ago where least half a dozen red crayons. The wife turned on the hallway light. The husband turned off the flashlight and walked over to the crayons. They where lined up in a formation of an arrow pointing to the wall of the hallway. The husband touched the part of the wall where the arrows pointed. He knocked on it. It sounded like it was hallow not solid. "There's something behind here listen." He stepped back for his wife to do what her husband had did. She listened carefully "You're right...you think that boy..." She covered her mouth thinking something awful." "I hope not..."
"We got to break down this wall....get the hammer." Without a second thought she hurried off and came back a moment later a claw hammer. She carried a baseball bat in her other hand "I'm going to help."
With that the two of them hammered and beat down the wall. It didn't take very long to do but after a short time, the wall had crumbed down plaster and dust scattered everywhere. Behind the wall was a wooden door that looked to be quite old. "Get my flashlight." He said. She grabbed the flashlight and turned it on aiming the beam of light at the door. The husband grabbed the doorknob and with a few grunts he shoved the door open. The door let out an unsettling creek. Together the couple made their way though the door and into a rather small room . Cobwebs and dust was everywhere. There they found a child's bed, a red rubber ball and red crayons. Scribbled on the wall was the message
'MOMMY I'M SORRY CAN I COME OUT NOW PLEASE? I'M SO SORRY I'M COLD, I'M HUNGRY'

Twenty Sixth Journal (F.E. Recap)
Posted 12 years agoOk just a recap on FE not gonna cover each day individually as it would take me forever to do. In short: i had a great time and seemed much more lively then last years F.E. hehe. Hung out with some friends had a big fur dinner at Montana's organized by Firestorm :). Met up with Foxlightning and managed to talk to the guy for more then 30 seconds (as conventions no one can hold a convo for that long as its busy a lot haha) then on the last day had another fur dinner at the Shereton Hotel the Olio. At first it was just Vinnie his mate, my mate and myself and 3 other people then about 20 others showed up haha. Anyway I had tons of fun and I will be looking forward to FE next year. And after FE my mate and myself are visiting Firestorm for March Break woo! =D
Side note: Normally I would have posted a journal about FE after it was all done but I carried away with packing again 24 hours after FE to go visit Firestorm so its only *now* I am finally doing this FE recap thingy haha.

Posted 13 years agoHappy Halloween! =D
Ok I thought I might do something differnt in this journal. If I like it I might do it every Halloween just for fun. A Ghost Story! >:3
The following is based on a ghot story that I read.
There is a tunnel in Niagra Falls Ontario that is said to be haunted by a little girl who was burnt to death there many many years ago. Story goes that a father lost custody of his child to his ex-wife and in a fit of anger he burnt his house down. The child scared ran to the tunnel and hid there in hopes of not being found. But her father found her, poured gasoline over her and set his child on fire. Now it is said that if you go into this tunnel and light a match (its specifically a match not a lighter) her screams will cause it to burn out. There are other versons to how the girl died. One being her family home caught on fire, and she and her family ran from the house, but her cloths where caught on fire and she died in the tunnel. Another story was that a girl was raped in the tunnel and her body was set on fire to hide the evidance.
That's this Halloween ghost story of 2012 hehe sleep tight >:3
