So, tomorrow morning will be the 2020 election for the next president. Now, normally, as an emperor, I do not condone such silly things as “democracy” or “voting”. However, I do believe that this coming election could not only determine the future of the United States and possibly the world, but the future of our youth and the safety and rights of countless minority groups. So, I encourage everyone reading this to go out and vote tomorrow, and get the mad brute known as Donald Trump out of our government.

Some helpful tips:

- Get there as early as possible.
- If you can’t drive, have someone drive you. If you can, try and bring those who can’t with you.
- If they try and close the polls, stay in line anyway. They are legally required to let you vote.
- Do not make your political affiliations obvious by wearing gear/merch. You could get turned away by the workers if they decide they don’t like you, or you could open yourself to harassment.
- Bring snacks and water if you need to stand in long lines.
- Do not give in to voter intimidation. You have a right to vote for who you like. Call your state’s Election Protection hotline if you feel you are not being treated fairly.

Now, no matter who ends up winning, there will most likely be violence. So here are some tips to help protect yourself.

- Stock up on necessities for a few days.
- If possible, prepare a “bug-out bag” if you need to leave your home.
- If possible, obtain a weapon for self-defense.
- Lock all doors and windows. Do not leave home unless absolutely necessary.
- If you are attacked for any reason, fight back to protect yourself and your property.
- If you are protesting, cover yourself in nondescript clothing in order to not be recognized. However, remain peaceful at all times. Do not attack innocent bystanders or locations.

Remember: America has been through worse, and we’ll get through this too. No matter what happens, remain safe. Good luck.

I recently ended my relationship with my paternal grandmother, who was abusive, and my aunt by extension. However, I can’t help but miss them, since I have a lot of good memories with them too. I also miss their pets, who I loved dearly, and know that I’ll never be able to see them again.

I know these changes are for the better, but my other grandparents are dead. So now I have none. And I wonder, will I someday have to break contact with my parents too?

I’ve also been having a lot of body image issues lately. I recently noticed that I wear lots of XL stuff, and I decided to sell some of it and replace it with smaller clothes, but I ended up just feeling silly afterward.

I’m also worried about the world in general. I’m graduating soon but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get a job, or even move out of my parents’ house. And with the virus, and the election, and the violence going on, I feel worse than ever. I sometimes wonder if it would be better to just end it all. I know that I shouldn’t, that things will get better, but it keeps getting harder to tell myself that.

Sorry if I’m ranting, I just have a lot of things to get off my chest. Thanks for reading, I guess.

So, I just found out my school’s shutting down cause of the virus and all of my classes are gonna be online. Also, there are 6 confirmed cases of the virus here in Alabama. And with all of these cons and events getting shut down, it’s starting to look like this is starting to be a real problem!

So, please remember to wash your hands regularly and cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing! If you start showing symptoms, see a doctor immediately! And for the love of god, don’t hoard TP and sanitizer! Other people need that stuff too! Stay safe!

So I recently got some extra cash and decided to get back into Final Fantasy XIV, but it seems my old Free Company disbanded while I was away. Anybody wanna take in this nook? I’m on Malboro, but I’m willing to transfer if need be!

In just a few hours, we’ll be entering an entirely new decade! So, in the spirit of the new year, here’s my resolutions:

-Study harder and make better grades
-Get off my ass and go to the gym so I can look good for the summer
-Get a job and become more financially independent
-Start my job search for my “real world” career
-Go to Japan to study and take the JLPT
-Go to a furry convention
-Get a fursuit
-Get more art
-Be more extroverted
-Be a better person than last year

I went to my grandfather’s funeral today. It was sad, but I’m glad he’s not suffering anymore. Also, I just wanted to say thanks for all of the kind words. I know I can’t really commission much art right now, but I’m glad that I have friends sticking by me even during this difficult time. So, thank you. <3

So I just found out today that I won’t be graduating this spring like I had planned, and it’ll probably be next fall. All because it’s apparently against the rules to major and minor in two separate languages. So now I gotta take some more classes. :/
