I have a CRAP TON of unfinished sketches of personal art, some sfw, some nsfw -- and because I am trying to focus on clearing my main queue (of the 347573847 Snow commission) + working on art for merch products and the toys.... these sketches are currently on an indefinite backburner. Bummer. :(

I've recently started working with MatthewDragonblaze to start up a new project making adult toys -- so go check it out!
I'll be posting toy and character designs to the page as I get them done.

The plan is for a nice variety of different designs, all of which I hope will be enjoyable~

I feel like I keep making excuses, and I am terribly sorry for that.

However, the continued delays are due to me having to resort to getting a part time job for income.
My art is simply not making me enough consistently, and with the large amount of credit card debt I put myself into, I needed to find something that would be able to help me get that paid off and support myself better.

I am doing OGP at a local Walmart. I actually really like the job and the people at the store too.
It unfortunately just took me a month and a half to get USED to being on my feet like that, considering I had been working from home doing art commissions for the past several years.

I am finally settled in with the job and don't feel like a corpse every day, so I will be able to start getting more art done.

I hope this is the final time I have to post excuses about why it is taking me so long, because this definitely isn't my norm.
I used to be known for my fast turnaround times, it really sucks.

Hi! I just wanted to give everyone an update.

Due to a LOT of irl circumstances (mainly buying and moving into a new house and starting up my own line of reptile/small biz trade shows, and struggling with mental health) it has slowed me down significantly.
However, I am starting to get back into a better routine, we are about halfway done with the move so I am hoping I can start getting some of these comms done for ya'll.

Mainly gonna be focusing on getting some of the simpler work done first, the move onto the painted stuff.
I'll have more YCHs to post too, once I get some of the current queue cleared.

As of today, I am closing my commissions. I need time to completely clear out my queue.
I need to be able to have time to focus on myself, my own projects, and my relationships -- something I cannot manage my time with at all with a constant stream of commissions going at any time.

Once I do get the queue cleared, I will be opening a limited number of slots periodically. Once those are completed and I want to take on more work, then I will open another limited amount of slots, and so on and so forth.

I will NOT be putting anyone on a waitlist either, the last time I did that people bailed on me when it came around to being slot opening time.
So you will have to keep an eye out for openings.

For those who had "pending" commissions, you will unfortunately have to wait until I open again if you're still interested.
All of those that were marked as pending had been sitting in my queue for well over a month with no updates from the parties involved.

2023 is here! Yippee? Maybe?
I hope everyone had a great time! I just worked on art because... yes. Hence the funny hognose nightstalker adoptables.

I'm hoping this year goes more smoothly in terms of, well, everything.
2022 for me had lots of ups and down, relationship drama, online drama, irl drama that resulted in me filing a protective order against the perpetrator so they would leave me alone... that was a yikes.
It's been a lot. But I'm grateful for what I have and grateful for the two numbskulls that put up with my temperamental, messy self. I love you two, even if at times it seems like I don't.

I'm grateful for my friends, and I'm also grateful for those of you out there who have supported me thus far.
I've come a long way in terms of my art, and how much I've grown and changed as a person. I hope it will keep getting better from here on.

Hey all, I know a lot of you are waiting on commissions from me, and I'd like to apologize.
I don't normally take nearly this long to get things done, but because of several factors both irl and online, my motivation to do any work has just been dead.

Someone I know online went out of their way to contact someone I was having issues with irl to further instigate drama and the ongoing slander/libel.
They also posted about me on their Twitter, digging up past drama on me from years ago, and accusing me of things without any proper context or reasoning. They were trying to get me ousted from the online communities I'm in as well.
All because I decided to reclaim my own species and revive them in a new project. (I never gave the new owner of the ARPG group ownership rights of the species. Just the dA group and discord community themselves.)
They threw me out almost immediately, continued talking shit about me even until very recently, so I made a public notice telling them they were no longer permitted to use the species I came up with.

About the person I was having issues with irl: Due to the continued problems, I had to file a protection order against them to get them to finally leave me alone, and it may have to escalate further if things continue to be a problem.

On TOP of that, SOMEONE reported me to the local animal welfare authorities claiming I was neglecting my animals. Unfortunately for them, the issuing officer saw the Facebook posts while doing their own research, and didn't believe there was actually a problem going on. They're still gonna come check on my animals next week, but that's just part of the procedure they gotta do to get things squared away.

Anyways, I will still be working on commissions when I can, but all of this has caused me way more stress and anxiety than I am used to handling. Most of you are very patient and understanding, which I super appreciate, but I still wanted to let everyone know what was going on.

Things are going well, for the most part. I've hatched out a few ball python clutches, with a couple more on the way.
Since Snow (@MatthewDragonblaze) is going to be moving in with us in about 6 months, we've been starting to look at houses.

Problem is, we are in quite a bit of debt. Enough that it has become an issue. Rain and I were denied a new home loan because of it, and they didn't accept my income from art because it wasn't reported on my tax returns. (I wasn't required to at the time, btw! No tax fraud here xD)
So I'm asking for your help -- while I would greatly prefer I get commissions so I can work towards paying off my debt, donations help too and I'd still give a little doodle in return.
