I could not think of a better title for this journal, so "Blarg!" it is!
I haven't really been doing any artwork lately, and I'm really sorry about not doing it. I'll get to it when I do. I'm just really... Not pleased with things right now. My mood influences my will to draw, and I just have not felt like it lately.
I am also not proud of my artwork. At all. Actually, I hate it. So I kinda gave up. But the past few days, I've been practicing a little bit more. I'm improving slightly... But I don't plan on posting any of it.
So... If I was supposed to draw something for ya, I'll get to it soon, I promise! C:

I haven't been very motivated to draw lately, nor have I really had the time. Classes have started and I'm trying to stay ahead of the game.
I still have quite a few things to do, and I'll get to them ASAP. >.<

Anyone heard of the game Disgaea? For Nintendo DS? I've been looking for that game for months. So finally, today at Wal-mart, I decided to browse through the discount games. I figured they would have crappy Barbie games, and stuff like that. My jaw literally dropped. I stood there, in front of the shelf, and my jaw dropped. There it was. Disgaea DS. And it was 10 dollars. I was expecting... At least 20, but no!
From the time I picked it up, to the time I opened it up, I could not for the life of me, get rid of the goofy grin on my face.
Now that I have it, I just feel like leaving it on my desk, and admiring it.
And THEN I went to the book store... I decided to take a look at the manga, just because. Thinking it wouldn't be there, I check for Black Butler, my favorite manga. They had it. Volume one. Only one. They NEVER have it. Yet another goofy grin. I held the graphic novel tightly in my hands, walking as if I just jizzed in my pants.
I also bought a sketch book. 100 pages of creativity await me! And I wasn't gonna bring any money... 40 bucks well spent! X)

I thought I was a guy... Then I looked down, saw boobs, and died a little inside...

I'm getting a tablet next month, which makes me very happy! But I figured I'll need some kind of drawing program. I've been looking at programs lately... I figure that if I'm gonna get a good one, I'm going to have to pay for it. So far I've tried Photoshop, SAI, Gimp and Paint.net...
Photoshop is alright, confused me at first... But I don't want to pay $180 for it. I'm already paying $150 for a tablet, that would be like... $320 just to do art work...
SAI... I really like SAI, but it annoys me that every time I save something I'm working on, it closes and then compresses all my layers. I basically have to work on it all day, or not turn off my laptop before I go to bed. These things over heat (even with my cooling pad...) and I dislike when it crashes. But apparently it only costs $55? I like it a lot better than Photoshop, AND it's cheaper...
Gimp... Ugh... I didn't like that one. Not one bit. Words cannot even describe how much it annoyed me...
Paint.net. It's actually pretty good for a free program, but I really dislike the amount of tools I get to use in it.
I have yet to try Open Canvas... Is it any good?
I might just go with SAI, but I'm not too sure about buying programs online.

So tired... I'll put up the picture of the turkey baster soon. Maybe tomorrow. I never got to do anything really funny with it, but it threw everyone off when I We ate a lot of food, didn't placed it my friend's bed.
My friends swam n a lake. Nude. I didn't join them, sadly. Later we watched Puff the Magic Dragon. Trippiest movie ever.
I think I sprained my wrist, or something. It hurts to bend it. I probably won't be drawing for a few days.
Now I'm tired, so I'm going to take a nap now. Or soon. I can't decide which...

I'm going camping tomorrow... with 7 people... I don't have a problem with 5 of those people, but one of them is a major bitch and really bossy, and the other one is her follower... Who will turn everyone against me. So if I snap at the bitchy one, the other one's gonna get angry at me too.

Honestly, I don't wanna have to hear someone shout "PENIS, VAGINA, TESTICLES" every two seconds when I'm trying to sleep. Like really? Grow up. I mean sure, we all do it, but it gets old, and it isn't fucking hilarious. If I have to listen to that, I WILL snap, and things will not be pretty. It's basically just all friend drama... What I try to avoid all summer by hiding in my bedroom.

With my luck, the two will come together and get everyone on their side, and vote me out of the group. Since I'm me, and rather awkward, they're my only "friends"... I will be a loner eating my lunch in the bathroom.

Another reason why I'm really stressing out right now, is because I just found out one of my friends was in a really bad car accident. She was hit by a drunk truck driver, and her car was completely totaled. This happened about a month ago. She never told me (I had to find out in a forum...). So today, I had a mini panic attack, paced around the house of a half an hour, and then drank half a gallon of milk.

To sum it all up, I'll be gone until Monday. /end rant... journal thing.

I cleaned my room last night. Kind of. I can see the floor now, but now my desk is a disaster, along with... Well, basically every flat surface in here. Except the floor. That's spotless.
So why is everything but the floor messy? I decided last minute to organize EVERYTHING, which is a task that's taking much longer than I thought it would. At least it's getting done before I go back to school...

I really have to clean my room... It's gross... I have never seen so much paper and clothing lying around in this room... But once I start cleaning, I'm gonna get distracted... "Hey, it's that drawing I was working on! Better finish it before I forget! *starts drawing*" And then 2 hours later, I'll look behind me and find that the only thing different about my room is that there is one less paper on the ground.
So right now, I'm gonna give it a shot. Who knows, maybe I'll find my floor!

It was good, but it was rather spicy. I've never had one before. o.o

I got a laptop about 2 months ago, it came with Windows Vista. I haven't really had problems with it. I actually kind of liked it. Until today. Now the Windows Aero color scheme doesn't work on it, and I like my windows colored. So now I'm stuck with boring Windows Vista Basic color scheme. It's probably a bit weird, and a little bit stupid to dislike a computer just because it won't change color, but that's just the way I am. I like colorful things.
I hope that when I update Vista in about... 15 minutes, everything will be back to the way it was 3 hours ago, and then I'll be a happy camper.
Speaking of camping, I'll be gone next weekend.

I've returned a week earlier than I expected! Hurray!
So during my week of away-ness, I did not work on any art. At all. Actually, I tried working on something for an art trade, but I lost all hope with Photoshop (I'm a Photoshop noob...).
I have no tablet, but I have a mouse (and 60 bucks toward a 150$ tablet). So using that is much easier than using the touch pad on my laptop... I'll get to that art trade right away. Then I'll finish up the freebies.
I'm going to try and get a job this week. So instead of being a bum that lives with her mother, I'll be an employed bum that lives with her mother. Having a constant cash flow will mean things like being able to buy a tablet...
On another note, I went to Fargo and Wisconsin Dells. I bought lots of clothes, which I desperately needed (it's not much fun only having 3 different tops to do anything in. :P), a cooling pad for my laptop, some memory cards, and other things I needed for this laptop. But I didn't buy Starcraft 2... Has anyone played it yet? Is it a lot better than the first one?
I'm going to wrap this up now, I am very sorry that I didn't work on anything, but my trip consisted of driving, sleeping, driving and shopping... And trust me, it's really hard drawing when you're in a vehicle going 100km/h(approximately 60mi/h). I'll finish things ASAP.

So Imma post this before my day gets busy.

As of tomorrow morning around 4am, I'll be out of the country for two weeks. I cannot bring a scanner, because it is much too large. Therefor I will not be able to post anything! Unless I get a tablet. I might just get one. MIGHT. But until then, I'm not gonna be able to post anything!

Why do I even bother posting this? Because people wanted freebies! And there is a good chance the following people will have to wait longer for them, due to my laziness! And for that I am sorry. But it's not like you're paying for my crappy art, so you shouldn't be complaining. :P
