Art Trades (And a character concept...)
Posted 11 years agoI've got this new character I'm working on designing, but I want to see how other people draw him before I finalize it in my head, so maybe I can work off of your ideas!
I'm thinking I can pick up a few trades to do. You get art, I get art (or a something else, details below!) and everyone is happy.
So if you're interested comment here and I'll get back to you today, or if not today, then after Christmas.
The Character
He doesn't have a name yet
Species: Golden Bengal Tiger (http://imgur.com/qY9T17n)
Gender: Male
Concept: I wanted a martial artists character, so I decided to make this guy a practitioner of judo. That's unfortunately, all I really have right now.
Appearance: Basic golden tiger coloration, and markings or variations are up to you. I only ask that you don't give him any super complicated or oddly colored markings. I'm a fan of simplicity. Bulky build, muscular but with a bit of fat covering it. About 6 feet, 238-248 lbs.
Personality: Stoic and business-like in the ring and with people he's unfamiliar with. But is a cuddly kitten around anyone he likes. Has anger problems in regards to things he finds offensive, in that his reactions are always a bit over the top. (Things that offend him: homophobia, species stereotypes, stereotypes in general, and people who shit on other people's religions as he's coming from a mixed religion household). He's a health nut, but still can't seem to kick his liking for rare steaks and his dislike for many types of vegetables. He still tried his best, however, and gets most of his veggie intake through shakes and juices so that he doesn't have to eat them at dinner.
Sexuality: Bisexual with a preference towards males. He's very much a switch and can be submissive or dominant if the situation calls for it. He's got an uncut dick that's about 6.3 inches when hard.
So yeah, that's who you'd be drawing/writing/whathaveyou. If you think that's alright then proceed to the guidelines and then onto comment~
Some quick rules:
This is not a first come first serve basis, I'll pick and choose who I trade with.
Don't be scared to post if you're new at art, or don't think we have matching skill levels because I don't care about that.
If I finish my half before yours, you'll get a watermarked version of the art until the other half of the trade is finished.
Aren't a visual artist? That's fine. I like stories and music as well!

REPOSTING: If I do a commission, trade, or request for you, you may repost it anywhere you want as long as you link back to either of my Furaffinity accounts, OR my Weasyl account and give me credit for the art.
EDITS: If you're commissioning anything above a sketch (flats, celshade, chibi) you may ask for progress sketches. If you get progress sketches I can change details to your liking. If you don't ask for progress sketches I work under the assumption that you're fine with taking the finished product as-is with no editing save for colour fixes.
PAYMENT: I take paypal only, and I ask for payment before work on the commission begins OR after I have the first progress sketch. It's up to you.
CONTENT: I'll draw pretty much anything. ANYTHING. Here's a list of my only no-nos - Underaged characters in sexual situations, scat.
That's it, as far as I know. If you've got something that's defined as weird by normal standards I'll probably draw it anyway.

If your character is not a deer they will be turned into one, designs will stay the same for the most part, with only minor variations to accommodate the species swap. If your character is a deer then...they'll just stay the same.
These will be small sketches like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9671250/ so you can request anything within reason. So feel free to ask for adult pictures, fetishes and kinks, etc. etc. I'll let you know when you request if it's something I can't do.
There are buyable "upgrades" as well. Last year I only had colour as an option, this year I'm adding more variety.
For $3 I'll add flatcolours to your deer sketch.
For $6 I'll colour it and cel shade it.
$10 gets you lineart, colouring, and cel shading.

So, commissions need to be autumn based, wither with a orange/red/brown-ish palette, or autumn-like subject (stuffing yourself at Thanksgiving dinner, Halloween type stuff, outdoor sex in a pumpkin field...whatever you can come up with!)
So I'm taking four slots MAXIMUM.
Cel and Soft shaded pieces are reduced to $10.

It's not going to be random numbers, I'll just be picking two or three characters that interest me.
And anyway, I'll keep the list up for when I get bored again and feel like drawing folks' characters, so feel free to keep commenting even after I've gone home.

I'll do as many as I can (considering I've got no internet at my house) until Christmas rolls around. All the sketches will be uncoloured, you can upgrade to flat colours if you pay $2.
So, if you wanna get your Sona/Character/Spirit Animal/Butt turned into a roly poly reindeer just comment here with a ref! And lemme know what weight category you want: Small, medium, large, woah, stop, put the hamburger down, or MOAR DONUTZ.
OH YEAH: Also lemme know if you want clothes or not, sorry I forgot to mention. Silence is taken as clothed. :V
