Long Time, FA.. It's been a while.
Posted 14 years agoHi FA,
It's been a while, I know. As I'm sure you're aware, I'm haven't been very active on the furry-art front lately.
However, I am active once more on Y!Gallery, and I've started up my own Tumblr, finally.
I miss you, FA, hopefully I'll be more inspired for non human stuff again soon. :(
I'm not around artistically, but I'm still here stalking people on my watch list. You guys keep up the great work. <3
Love,
SAR

Losing.. inspiration..
Posted 14 years agoI need me some inspiration for drawin' furry things to tie up loose ends.
Getting burned out hardcore drawing at work, and it seems all I do is sketch WoW porn in my free time and never finish any of them..
*facedesk*
Halp. What do you guys do when you need inspiration?

Posted 15 years agoHey everyone.
It's time to get my shiz together. Got some commissions done, worked on my last. I'm feeling productive, and this year is looking great so far.
Working for a game company and also doing stuff on the side for Four the Win is keeping me busy, busy, busy.. but I think I need to get some MORE drawing in.
My 2011 resolution: Get stuff done and get some more money to help pay the bills. Try not to get burned out.
Perhaps I'll open up commissions again, or do some sort of iron-artist thing, like I'd considered over summer..
To the artists of FA, keep up the great work. I might not comment on a lot of things, but I certainly do look over what you've all done. <3
Finally, I'd like to thank all my watchers, commentators and favers. I appreciate all your support and enthusiasm for my infrequent work. Stay awesome!

Hmmm possible Summer Sketch Sale..
Posted 15 years ago.. So I recently bought a textbook packet for this class I have that meets every day of the week (and oh god the homework..)...
.. and I feel a bit broke.
I'm thinking of having a "Summer Sketch Sale", where I time myself and don't spend more than half an hour, give or take a few minutes on each. (Which means they may or may not be messy and may or may not be full body, as my fully cleaned up sketches that I upload take me at least an hour to do.)
More details to come once I iron out the parameters of this.

Possible free sketch offer. [Got my 3, thanks!]
Posted 15 years agoHey guys,
Here's some info on the offer:
I have this idea for the Rift-Jaw demons, where their innards and guts are actually like a storage/pocket in another plane. They have insatiable appetites for treasure and hoard it. Imagine someone digging into their mouth and pulling out a huge sword or something.
Well, to go along with that, the demons are capable of opening portals in their mouths.. So I had this hilarious idea of some guy stickin' it to a female demon, only to have her portal his member back out her mouth so he'd have to suck on it for his own pleasure. (LOLOL) This pretty much brought on a lot of crazy ideas regarding recreational sex with these creatures.
I'm offering a free sketch to the first three people who can give me a reference (Preferably in color) of a male character who would be willing to bang Vrikashna and probably her sister Akasha as well.
Why am I doing this? I just want to experiment with the idea. So, please don't post unless you're okay with disturbing portal sex. LOL
Edit: I'm asking for color refs, since if I feel like it, I might color it, because I need to figure out what colors these gals'll be.
That all being said, I have a few trades and one last commission to complete... Yaay getting caught up. *dance*

Derp LOL
Posted 15 years agoIt's kind of sad that I think a "lolporn" I doodled in 15 minutes turns out better than commissions or pieces I spend hours on.
Sigh, 3 hours and counting. Had to redraw a face several times before I inked it because I wasn't satisfied with it.
I suck at drawing women. Like, hardcore.

Posted 16 years ago.. So burned out from sculpture and script writing for a performance art piece for Senior Exhibition.
Bah.
Bah.
In need of an opinion..
Posted 16 years ago.. I've felt lately that, I kind of want to commission someone; but when it comes down to it.. I'm wondering.. do I want to spend more and get a really nice color commission..? Or get a few sketches instead of one? Like, my goal in mind is a "feel good" commission(s) I can look back on and kinda be like "awesome, I got a great piece of art of my character."
With that in mind.. I don't commission very often at all, and the only people I've ever commissioned were friends who were offering, and I wanted to support their efforts (and they already knew my characters and wouldn't mind drawing them)... So, I honestly don't know what to commission..
So here's a question to those of you who commission often.. What do you normally want to see when you commission someone? An artist's rendition? What an artist will do with what you give? Maybe what they'll do with what you prompt?
.. I.. I don't even know where to begin, but it's been on my mind all day.. and I kind of want to.. well, commission someone to draw a character of mine, so I could gawk over it.
... But I have no idea what I'd want someone to draw a character of mine doing. Perhaps leave that up to the artist..?
Maybe I'm just being too awkward about it, I've never commissioned someone I don't know before so.. I just honestly.. well, to reiterate my thoughts: Don't know where to begin.
Thanks for looking, thoughts on commissioning would be greatly appreciated.

Er.
Posted 16 years ago... I have a sudden desire to draw nothing but cock sucking.
But I digress from my original message.
Happy New Year!
But I digress from my original message.
Happy New Year!
Feeling distinctly frustrated..
Posted 16 years ago.. Nothing wants to turn out the way I imagine it lately when I draw.
I keep thinking my anatomy or something is off, and it takes me like, several shots to draw a good face. Argh.
Same with sewing, since, I've been sewing things while a bit art-blocked and uninspired. Bustle dress pattern, you lie to meeeeeeee, that is way too loose to look the way the drawing on the pattern does. D8
But, there is one good point of that. Makin' it outta shiny stretch pvc. Awww yeah. Hmm, well, actually it looks more like shiny black spandex- but.. My friend picked up the fabric for me like, years ago in Fashion District- I have no idea what she got, so it's my best guess since it doesn't feel like the patent material I have on most of my (slut) boots.. It still makes that terrible sucking/sticking sound when it rubs against itself, though.
Photography projects at school keep me quite frustrated, since we've been jumping from 35mm, to medium format, to 4x5 all within days of each other, so there's a sharp learning curve from one camera tot he other.
That's about it for now.

Posted 16 years ago8/12/09: What with a recent break up, I am rather stressed out/emotionally compromised. But, thankfully, with just one class this second session (and a writing class, to boot), I have more time to get back to commissions between homework and working with classmates in planning our senior exhibition piece.
7/15/09: One animation down, another to go- had two back-to-back animation projects assigned; at least the hard part of doing frames is over and the rest is just "work in class" work, since I don't own any of the programs we use in class other than photoshop... Which means that I have to spend extra time on campus trying to get into the labs when there isn't a class.. =_= Hit a slight art block that's leaving me unable to draw the bottom half of faces- frustrated and trying to force myself out of the block by doodling.
Not quite a stop motion.. But I did something that would amuse myself while I worked on frames. Got a bit ambitious and did twice as many frames as was necessary, and got rushed a little due to time, but.. I managed to cram this out last minute for the second project (which was somehow due first), after slaving over frames for the first project. Overall, pleased with it despite some visible mistakes. Will redo it in my free time after I finish up commissions and classes.
TL;DR: Sorry, commissioners, if I take a while to finish up- summer classes have me *very* busy and burned out; suffering from slight art block, but I have you all in mind. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
7/6/09: I have an animation assignment to work on, so it will push back my work schedule by a bit (BAH). I also expect to be wasted 7/8/09 for my birthday, but fear not, no drunk drawings.

Hmm..
Posted 16 years agoApparently, my old screen on my laptop is too bright; for apparently, I miss a few spots when I erase- and my colors are a lot darker than I thought they were.
This is disconcerting.
Some submissions will be fixed now that I see glaring mistakes.
Also, tablet seems to be laggy with the new system. Grr. (Now to.. pay back all that money to my sad, sad bank account.)
Nail on my thumb broke into the nail-bed; can't hold a tablet pen for shit with a band-aid on..
.. School kicking my ass.
I will get back to commissions once I get used to the colors on this monitor (Darker seems to be better, it seems, I can see more mistakes from bad erasing...), the tablet to work, and all other things reinstalled. And my finger stop hurty, too.

Posted 16 years agoMy computer is starting to die.. and I'm starting to put together a desktop to replace this old faithful of a laptop.
However, my funds are growing tight since edumacation budgets in California have been, well, nonexistent in the art department at my school...
I will need this new computer for pursuing further artwork and also to work on schoolwork.
... And I want to offer up 50 $3 busts (In lieu of PawFeather's 100 busts idea) with a quirk... but I've yet to think up that quirk.
.. Maybe it'll all be everyone making a o3o face. Or :B....

Hello! (Proper)
Posted 18 years agoYay! After not drawing furries for a good year or so, my style may have deteriorated- but due to the prompts of two loverly friends from Yaoi gallery, Arpegiuswolf and Shinigamii02.. I may actually recover my furry-drawing ability.
Yes. I now have a FA account. If it weren't more obvious enough..
That being said, having drawn nothing but men for almost a year- I'm almost elated to find that.. I can draw WIMMIN here. Oh my lordy, I can draw breasts again! :O
... Unfortunately, I am too amused with drawing the male physique so I may not draw women that often.. but hey, at least now I have somewhere I can upload those drawings to.
(No, I don't haunt Deviantart any longer, my account there is dead.)
So.. Hur be me furry 'count.. and my normal 'count is hur:

Without further adyuuuuueeee, HELLO FUR AFFINITY! AHYUCK! :B
