I have moved...

Went to furcon with: on SUNDAY.

Yeah, so its been like.. 2 weeks since further confusion ended. It was pretty fun.. for me at least. xD So woke up around 10ish and got picked up by ununununium and then we went to pick up itachoko. We met up with c-rae and jensquared afterwards next to the registration room and thus started our adventure! :0

Went directly to the Dealers room after surfing what turned out to be the Furry Marketplace (we thought the dealers room overflowed so these poor people got moved to the hallway.. thats probably what happened anyway). After getting about halfway through, chikinnugets calls to tell us that he's here, so we went out to meet him. On the way out, I recognized keto but didnt get to say hi or anything. :[

So anyway, met up with chikinnugets and we parked at where ununununium parked. We went back to the con and continued browsing the dealers room. Surprisingly, there was a lot more pr0n laying around than we anticipated. A LOT more... We imagined a small black discreet binder laying on the side of the table with 18+.. what we got was PR0N EVERYWHERE TO RAEP THE EYES OF LITTLE CHILDREN. (seriously, there were little children there...) Luckily, we grew immune and desensitized to the loads of red rockets and boobs and just giggled at the Sonic pr0ns and stuff as we passed by.

Eventually, we finish surfing through the dealers room and walked around a bit. Then ootachi came by to greet us and recommended us to the Creator's Lounge, so we headed over there. Unfortunately it was too full... fortunately, the hallway wasnt! :D so we just hung out and drew in the hallway. Eventually, ootachi and his friend kaittykat found us again along with his friend and sat and hung out with us. We all just sat and drew random things (anteaters, ocs, etc.) until like 3 or 4ish and got hungry. Then we headed over to Johnny Rockets and had a big lunch. :0

For some reason, there were a lot of little girl cheerleaders around for some event or something and they were walking right into the crowds of fursuits! Poor little girls.. D: (they were probably like "wtf is going on?") After lunch, we went to wash our hands in the super fancy hotel bathrooms and when we came back out, there were some fursuits literally yiffing in sexy poses for the cameras... So we quickly headed back to the Creative Lounge, which extended over to the gamers room and hung out there. I went back and forth to the Dealers room again cuz I didnt wanna leave the con empty handed (the catalogue con books dont count) and bought a print, a few postcards, some stickers, and a button for chikinnugets.

We then called it a day and went home. Looks pretty interesting. I'd wanna try selling there next year, but no one wants to go.. :C

So me and my friends and itachoko@dA are going to FC this Sunday!! Our first furry convention!!! :0

How will you recognize us?! I honestly dont know yet... I'll probably make a badge of my Tavi character. Either that or just wearing a blown up version of my Talking Pixel icon. Will also be wearing an orange hoodie with a dull green jacket over (cuz its probably gonna be really cold).

Anyway, dunno what to expect at my first furry convention. Will probably just go around the Furry Marketplace and Dealers Rooms. Does anyone know what you'd usually do at a Furcon? Anyone going? xD

PS. What are the chances that there'd be Red Panda merchandises there? cuz I'd really love some. :3

PSS. Also, do the artists in the Dealer's Rooms accept commissions?

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!

Hmm.. so 2009 was an okay year with its ups and its downs. It was pretty alright. This year, 2010, I'm expecting a lot of better things. Pokemon HGSS is coming out. Huzzah!! Then *chikinnugets will hopefully be transferring in the Fall to SJSU to join us. Yaayyy!! I dunno, just hoping for a good year.

Time for some New Years Resolutions! I haven't done this in a long time.

- Finish Commissions (Shouldn't take the whole year)
- Complete the demo/first part of the game for the RPG me and my friends are working on.
- Make a new icon.
- Work on some original artwork and stuff for once.
- All in all, just improve at drawing and stuff.

Happy Halloween Everyone! I've been working as security/black out at Great America's Halloween Haunt this past month. It's been pretty tiring standing there in one place for 5 hours in a strobe light room, with really loud music, and waving my flashlight at people telling them where to go cuz they cant follow a linear path and keep walking towards the chicken exit. Paranormal Activity was okay... I was expecting it to be SUPER AWESOME SCARY due to the hype that it gathered. It was better than most scary movies I've seen. The intensity was pretty good. I dunno, it was just an okay movie in my opinion.

Zombieland on the other hand was SUPER AWESOME <333333 I don't remember the last time I laughed so much at a movie! I'm not so into watching comedies at the theatres, but this one was an exception. The best zombie movie I've ever seen. I wouldn't mind watching it again and again. :D

Sorry for the unannounced hiatus. I lost my drive/motivation/etc to draw anything digital. I guess you can call it an art block.. a serious one. :[

So convention season has been over for me. I've been back to working on commissions again as of late. Determined to finish all commissions by the end of summer, since I've been dragging them out for way too long. Really bad at finishing commissions, even at the conventions. :C Doesn't help that I dont have a deadline either. As this one person I forgot who said, "If you give someone all the time in the world, they'll most likely take all the time in the world."

So don't worry, finished commissions are on the way! D:

So the next semester of college is starting again. Sorta excited, but sorta not at the same time. I was hoping to finish my commissions by the end of break, but sorta failed at that. :<

So this semester, I start school at 12 everyday and hopefully end school at 6 everyday if I get that art class that I'm waitlisted for. I just hope +9 people drop out of that class. P: I'm looking forward to next semester cuz it's more organized and I don't start in the morning this time. What I don't like is that I'll most likely have to take the bus in the morning everyday, which totally sucks. 1 hour ride to school. Hope I find a way around it. Everyone has fridays off this semester, so we must friday time!! :D

I hope my classes aren't too bad. I'm not looking forward to a lot of them, but most of the teachers got pretty good reviews, except for my english teacher.

Aside from College, I just read another gay furry comic. The first one I read was that Closet Coon one. It was cute. :> I was hungry for more comics like that and came across Circles and got it.

OH GOD. THAT COMIC IS THE BEST ONE I'VE READ SO FAR. IT MAKES ME CRAI. DDDD: It also has some really warm, cute moments too. I think I must draw fanart for Marty. I liek Marty. :3 The dialogue is pretty good and the artwork is pleasing to look at. The story is definitely going in the right direction. It's a really inspiring comic and I recommend it to EVERYONE. C8

Happy Belated New Years to everyone!! Been out of town for the past few days with  chikinnugets and his family to LA.

So I just got back from LA yesterday and I caught the cold. It's been at least a year or 2 since I last got sick, so now that I am, it's really bad. Woke up in the middle of the night with a really really bad headache and lots of coughing and couldn't go back to sleep cuz it was so cold. Kept on waking up like every 3 hours or so.

So yeah, got medicine this morning so I'm feeling a lot better but still feeling a bit dizzy. I've been sleeping all day long, which I hate doing. I just wasted another day of break. ): I was hoping to work on commissions today too. Hopefully, I'll feel better tomorrow so that I'll actually get to work on commissions.

I'm about to go to sleep in a bit so that the medicine that I just took a few minutes ago can kick in. I'll probably update on something more tomorrow.

So this actually happened like 3 nights ago, but I've been caught up in Prop 8 that I wanted to hold this story off till later.

So anyways, 3 nights ago, at 6 AM on Tuesday, my brother and his gf comes to my room to tell me that someone tried to break in. Too tired to think about anything, I go back to sleep. A few minutes later, my brother comes back and tells me to wake up. I come out and there my mom and my brother's gf is, wide awake, watching my brother talk on the phone to the cops. Moments later, the cops appear at my front door. My brother explains to the cops the whole story.

My brothers girlfriend, Dana, woke up in the middle of the night, hearing footsteps. Thinking it was just me up in the middle of night like usual, she shrugs it off and goes to the bathroom. (This night, I went to sleep at 2) She comes back out and my brother is awake, checking outside the front door.

Apparently, my brother woke up to footsteps too. He looks at the door of their room and he sees a figure crouched there. Thinking it was me, he asks "What are you doing?" The figure slowly backs away and runs off. My brother quickly jumped to his feet and checks out the window in their room to see another person running across our backyard. There were at least 2 people at our house that night.

Basically that was the story. It doesn't sound like much, but it's just lucky that they weren't someone else more dangerous. If they went to my room or my mom's room first, it would've ended up differently.

My brother said that they probably broke in cuz there were no cars in the front of our house at the time. The probably thought we weren't home. My dad said that they check from house to house to find unlocked doors and it just so happens that our patio door was open that night.

So anyways, I don't feel safe in my house anymore. The other time this happened was during the day when no one was home and we got robbed. This time was in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. They didn't take anything, so we don't know what they were after.

Congratulations to Obama.

I've never been that much into the Presidential election, but I think it's good that Obama is our new president. This country needed a new change, and I think this election is the start of it, even though prop 8, prop 102 (in Arizona) and Amendment 2 (in Florida) have all passed.

This is one of the most disappointing moments of my life. Here I was expecting that California was better than that. Most of you know by now that Prop 8 passed. Really disappointing, but I just wanna say thanks to all of those out there who voted No on Prop 8. Of course the battle still isn't over, but still disappointing to know that this is the majority voice of California.

Prop 8 Passed by half a million votes, 52% to 48%. Really close. I've been watching the polls all night long hoping to see a comeback on the No side. Unfortunately, it didnt happen, although the No did climb like 3% while I was watching it.

Not surprisingly, the majority (61%) of voters 65 and older voted Yes. Approximately 55% of voters ages 30 - 64 voted Yes. 61% of voters 18 - 29 voted No. Majority of counties that voted No were near the Bay Area. Main groups where a good majority voted Yes on Prop 8 were Conservatives, Republicans, and Religious. Not saying all of them did. Again thanks to those who didn't.

I was always saying and thinking that this election was the younger generation vs the older generation. The majority of the younger generation supported Obama and No on Prop 8, while the older generation was all like McCain and Yes on Prop 8.

It reminds me of that one idea that the older generation needs to back down and let the new generation step in.

Anyways, the battle for gay marriages is still not over. Ban on gay marriages is unconstitutional, discriminatory and just plain stupid. There are a bunch of things that Yes people say that still piss me off.

Homosexual choice is in no way related to race. While one is God given the other is man/woman's choice.

Ugh STFU. I don't even need to explain this right? We all know that it's not a choice. The real choice is whether to blindly deny who you really are or to accept the way you were born.

The voting over Prop 8 has brought the hate and immaturity out of No on Prop 8 people. Thanks for showing us who you all really are.

Yeah; hate and immaturity are normal human emotions. Everyone has them. Not like the Yes people are any better. If anything, I'd say Prop 8 has shown how deceitful the Yes people are, with their lies and contradictions.

Prop 8 passed. We still love you. God loves everyone. (They're really saying that.)

Weren't you just saying a while ago that God hates gays, b/c he didn't create them and they are really the works of the devil? You're contradicting yourselves again.



Anyways, the battle still isn't over. Judging from the controvesy and the kind of discrimination that ban on gay marriages bring, I'm expecting to see this in the Supreme Court. Hope these next 4 years bring out a real change. Separate but equal, anyone?

Lucky for everyone, I have a 4 day weekend this week and not a lot of homework. :D I'm already halfway through linearting the first commission and I'll get to coloring tomorrow. Maybe I'll get a few commissions done this weekend, but then again, this is just a speculation. For sure, I should get the commissions on the current list done by the end of this month.

I'm bored, and I wanna draw a monster, but I'm afraid I might end up drawing a generic monster from some adventure game.

So this is your opportunity guys! :D

Give me a creative environment, a creative description, a creative story, whatever! I'll choose the top 3 choices and draw a random, super awesome monster to go with it!! :3 Think of this as a free commission or something. FREE.

EXAMPLE:
In a distant forest far away on a planet where technology has corrupted bla bla bla the plants are purple, green mist shrouds the forest, all those who step foot upon this forest are doomed to bla bla bla you can hear the faint sound of bla bla bla...

I'm actually not really good with descriptions, but I hope you get the idea. Oh yeah, and try to stay away from sci-fi type stuff (aliens, space creatures, etc.)

So now that FA is back, I'm gonna try to become more active here. Maybe I'll draw in my sketch book more often and upload sketches as well as refined digital art. I dunno, I just want to find some motivation and try to actively draw more often... since like.. I'm gonna be majoring in Animation & Illustration. I just hope I'm passionate enough to make it through college and life. I need to find what I like drawing and get away from other distractions.
