*[COMMISSION STREAM]* - Commissions $10 OFF!
Posted 6 years agoI'm taking commissions and they are $10 off for the next couple days!
I'll be streaming all day today, and will be working on commissions. If a commission comes in, it will be added to the cue.
Before sending any money, be sure to read my commission details to know what I will and will not draw. There are some exceptions but those require a much more in depth one on one, so if you want one of those commissions, be sure to send me a DM.

What's new in 2019 (Update)
Posted 6 years agoHello everyone!
Just wanted to give you all an update with what's going on and what's coming soon.
So I've put together this neat little post to tell you all about it.
Streaming is something I really enjoy doing, but my motivation to do so has been pretty low, and because of this, my projects also suffer, as I have no "Overseeing" mass of people watching me as I work. This is something I need to be able to be productive enough to maintain an active online presence, and it's something I REALLY want as a person who has been struggling in everything outside of anything artistic. I've already got a streaming schedule put together, but I'll need to do some testing to see what times work the best for myself and my viewers.
Yes, that crazy little site that can make or break a content creators career online. Well don't worry, cause I'm not making it my sole focus as a method of income. But I am going to reopen it more as a support box rather than a place to get exclusive content.
Not to say I won't be making the occasional Patreon exclusive piece, it just won't be the main attraction.
I've got some new content on the way in addition to the stuff you all know about already.
1) Mini comics based around the individual characters in Itsy Bitsy Adventures. Telling their back stories and introducing them in a more manageable fashion.
2) A slice of life webcomic meant for the more casual but mature readers. A story dealing more with the every day life in the city.
3) A retro adventure platformer, designed for both standard and hard core members of the gaming community.
And more to be announced at a later time.
But this seems like a good enough place to end this update.
If all goes well, you'll be seeing more frequent updates from me.
Thank you all for sticking with me, and I hope to see you next week when I start putting my new streaming schedule into action!

It's June!?
Posted 9 years agoWell, we are in fact half way through the year already. and there's all kinds of awesome stuff happening!
With my comic ,Itsy Bitsy Adventures making its debut onto the Katbox earlier in March, and me having gone all the way out to Calgary Alberta to help Kuurion with the Katbox table, I find that this year is a massive milestone in my life.
I'm becoming much more than just a hobby artist now and it actually makes me feel like my whole life is taking a turn for the better. Even though I'm currently in Ontario and can't really do a whole lot of artwork or streaming until I get back home in December, I'm still very optimistic about what the future holds for me.
My mom and bro are still back in Nova Scotia trying to get the house ready for my grandmother, who is going to be living with us on the east coast, while I'm here in Ontario for work trying to get a decent amount of money to pay for the renovations that are needed back in Nova Scotia.
I've been keeping my commissions open as well, to see if I can drum up some more money on top of everything and have been somewhat successful. Although the lack of ability to stream my artwork out here really makes it hard to keep the momentum going on commission sales. But, if you keep an eye out and you're part of the right groups, you may be able to catch a special commission discount each month. Usually about $10 off the normal price. Which you can get by default as a supporter of my Patreon.
Hopefully I'll be able to make enough money that we can fix the place up well enough to finally live comfortably. I've also been looking at jobs for when I get back home. which has been somewhat successful, with currently only 1 job that seems like it might work out if I apply for it. But we'll see what happens. If I'm lucky, I might even be able to get back home sooner than later!
Here's hoping that all the efforts of myself and my family were worth it for me to come out here to work. and like my mom said in a phone call earlier. Let's hope I either become famous or get a really good solid job so I can go back home. I miss Nova Scotia and all the awesome people and friends I have there.

Commissions OPEN!
Posted 9 years agoPLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY FOR THE WHOLE PICTURE
– Commission Specifics –
What I am willing and not willing to draw
I WILL NOT draw anything NSFW, so if you’re hoping for full frontal or some other more extreme kind of nsfw art, don’t be disappointed when I decline your request.
I WILL, however, draw sexy/suggestive commissions. So, as long as there’s nothing showing, I’ll draw it.
Feel free to commission pinup style artwork!
– Where else to Contact me –
Deviant Art
Sending a message directly from THIS POST is a valid option for contact and I will respond to you as soon as I can.
You can also request commissions during my art streams.
I will be doing art streams every night until I leave the province. If my goal is reached, I’ll be able to keep posting the art work and commissions I finish, even after I’ve left.
– Additional Information –
Calgary Expo
I’ll be helping Kuurion with the Katbox table this year.
And because this is the first time I’ve ever been at a con without the rest of my family, It’s going to be a great new experience!
Ontario
I’m heading to Ontario for a job opportunity that could really help me financially. Though it would be super awesome to be able to support myself with my art, it’s just not realistic as a career option right now.
Maybe one day soon I’ll be able to support myself with art, but until then, I need to grab whatever paying job I can.
And last but not least, I want to thank all my followers and friends for sticking with me this far. You’re all super awesome!

Hello! :D
Posted 10 years agoHey there everybody!
My name is Sterling, but most people online just call me Silver or SilverBlaze.
After so long of being an artist, and knowing about the furry community and how awesome it is, I finally went ahead and made an FA account.
So, I'm really bad with these intro things, so let's just make it a Q&A thing. :V
Q - Why do you draw?
A - Because I want too. Drawing is an amazing way to tell a story, express a moment or just to show off. And I really like showing off. x3
Q - What got you into drawing?
A - MLP mostly, but to be frank, I've been making pixel art for a super long time. Ever since I got my hands on MSPaint on Windows 95.
Q - How long have you been drawing?
A - I've drawn picture since I was small, but I never really did much until about 3(ish) years ago. When I started watching MLP and got onto Tumblr, I noticed a lot of blogs based around original and show characters, and that made me want to create a character of my own and have people interact with it. It wasn't long before it just took a life of its own and I discovered just how awesome drawing was.
Q - What do you draw?
A - At the moment I draw everything. Pony, Furry and even Monster girl stuff. Although I don't have many pictures that aren't pony art yet, I am slowly building my furry art portfolio.
Q - Do you have a fursona?
A - Not a complete one, but I am working on a design for a Cobra fursona. I have some sketches and a chibi doodle of him in my gallery.
Q - Who's your biggest inspiration?
A - Well, there are a lot of them, but the biggest inspirations I have right now are
lolopan
miupix and
slugbox.
Q - Why Slugbox?
A - Why not? Slugbox is an amazing artist, even if he does mainly NSFW, his quality and techniques are top of the line. I've actually learned a lot from watching his streams and copying how he does things. I do the same thing with most of the other artists who inspire me, but Slugbox is by far my main for learning techniques. And besides, he's a super awesome dude. Just so chill and with it. :V
Q - What software do you use?
A - I use a combination of Manga Studio and Photoshop CS2. I do all my sketches, line work and basic flat colours, shadows and highlights in Manga Studio and then bring it into Photoshop for layer effects, line colouring, blurring and gradient shading/highlighting.
Q - Do you do anything else?
A - Yes, I am a programmer, animator, writer and musician. I have many unfinished prototypes for games, hopefully I'll be able to finish one some day. I am also currently working on a chiptune album called BOUND, which was supposed to be released last year(2014), but got pushed back due to life reasons. I hope to have it released this year.
Well that's all the questions I can think of right now. If you have some more questions for me, drop them in a comment and I'll answer it as best I can. ^^
I hope to get to know all kinds of awesome artists here on FA. :3
If you want to check out my artwork, you can find me on DA and Tumblr as well.
