It's a really bad habit, and I terribly miss making adopts.....so I shall be doing so again in the very near future. Been experimenting on my main account with painterly YCH's, so that has been taking the majority of my time and attention in terms of art. Been doing some personal ones too, so that doesn't help either.

Geez, I hate being tired and unmotivated all the damn time. But I am determined to get a lot done before the years end!
I will fight this funk, and win dammit! XD Even if it means winning in the last two months of the year. Sheesh

I also started making lists of Pre-Made Bases that I want to start using for some of my designs as well. For the days I just wanna "mindlessly" color, and not break my brain quite so much with planning out how I want a design to look....AND it supports other artists at the same time! So extra bonus there, since I will ALWAYS give credit toward someone else's lines.

I am trying though, it's just hard when I have just about ZERO energy to do anything...when you have a three year old that steals what little you do have hahahaha. SO, to celebrate the late coming of spring, I do have some spring creature/plant mashups up and ready to sell!
Any adopt sets I put up will be SET PRICE, always. Any auctions I do will be for very special singular adopts, that I've spent a lot of time on, and will never duplicate -unlike the sets where there's always the chance I will reuse lines and such.
I'll also be posting some YCH's soon on my normal account, so I've got a lot of catching up to do!

Saw someone else I watch mention that they do this, and I though it was an interesting idea. Clear your Gallery every year, and start off the year with a clean slate -so to speak-...do not delete the old ones though! Just move them to scraps.
I do not think I will be able to make enough art in a year to warrant doing this EVERY year, maybe every 2-3, 5 at the most. But I find it and interesting concept that I'm going to give a try, so I have already cleaned out my gallery! I am going to keep my old Commission sheet there and just give it new art, and make it my permanent T.O.S post instead.

Everything from here on out, is going to be new art. Which means there's going to be a lot of experimental pieces, cause I've got so many wonderful new brushes and techniques to try out and see if I want to use them more often.
I've already got a nice painterly gift to show off soon, and I absolutely NEED to finish the last Comm I got a couple months back before I start doing all my planned personal art. Gunna get a few designs for RedBubble and my Adopts Account flowing through my head too, cause I definitely would like to start to just plain SELL things again.
I'm also going to be changing my posting habits as a whole, and I am going to try my damnedest to post once a week. Even if it's just one of my nice pencil sketches, I am going to post SOMETHING every week. This includes my Adopts Account too, so this is going to be interessting.

Copied from a journal on my main page Faeyne-Silvercloud but it explains the lack of adopts as of late. I tried taking commissions....and I got a bit of interest and was trying to find a groove...and then this shenanigans happened...

I had it all figured out, I found a way to for the most part avoid its little freak out spots...was having fun arting this afternoon/evening, trying out some Telegram stickers for my bestie Arokh....and what do I do when I go to the kitchen to deal with after dinner shenanigans?..............................................Forget to hide my tablet pen from the grabby hands of a two and a half-year old, and *POOF* there goes the nib to my tablet pen! Don't even know how he did it, cause he was so quiet about it! >w<

So needless to say, until I get it replaced....I will be unable to finish/make any more adopts. Which is sad, cause I had a couple more of them almost done before my tablet decided to croak. Haha So here's to hoping I get a replacement soon!

I kept my promise of more arts! Got a few -still very experimental- adopts put up, and so far I am liking the style/ease of pooping out designs. I may still do the quick cheapies too, cause I still have a few plans for them in terms of creature types...but we'll see. May start doing eggs, and maybe some feral bases of some sort that'll in between the two in price.

But I do have one thing that's bothering me............WHY AREN'T MY NEW PIECES SHOWING UP ON MY PROFILE?!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!!?

I deeply apologize for the major inactivity! V.=.V Life took a huge hold of me, and refused to let go!
Being the mother of a 2 year old really sucks the life out of ya, making me too tired by the end of the day to want to do anything other than leisurely play games or read stupid little fan-fictions. I DO have art, and I AM still drawing....I just am too tired to care about posting anything. X3
But that shall be changing soon! I have plans for future adopts: similar to the Halloween ones I still have up, but better....even going so far as to make a 'base' of sorts for them, so I can dish them out at a more reliable pace, in theory! :D I've almost got it all figured out, so I am pretty excited to give this a try!
So be on the lookout for some handsome equine studs, some birbs, and some flowery canids! >w>

General Updates and Changes in Customs!~

Blech, in the process of moving all my stuff to my desktop. Finally got it set up, so I don't have to completely LIVE on a laptop, will still use said laptop for things though....but it needs to be reformatted badly X3 I was a bad computer mommy, and I gave it a virus accidentally. Heheh
On a better note though, I found a way I wanna set up all my custom adopts! Both present and future!
I will just open them periodically, like one would do for normal commissions, and they will close once slots are filled up. They will still have limited slots, but I figured this will make things much easier to keep track of, and not so overwhelming for me in the long-run. Guess we'll see how this new set up works!
So as of now, my Perytons are very much OPEN for customs! And will be until their slots are filled!

Slowly but surely! ^.=.^ But some progress is better than none, for sure.
Got one set of adopts up, more experimental than anything else, but I do like the look of them a lot, so expect to see more of them in the very near future. I've already got a few ideas listed on my profile. And I am more than willing to accept suggestions on what to make next!
I should have a couple more sets of my "Cuties" done either tonight or tomorrow. And then I'll start work on more detailed special adopts, and even custom adopts. Both of which I already have at least one planned out/finished, just waiting on the right time to post them -mostly gathering up the courage >w< tehe.
But I digress, thank you for your patience. And I am excited to see how far this goes!

Hope everyone had a wonderful new years eve, stayed safe and had fun! I didn't really do much myself, but relax -which is much harder to come by with a baby that's nearly a year old now! Jan 9!- and Skype'd my mother who wanted to see my face and wish me a happy new year after midnight. But I enjoyed it none-the-less, and it gave me a bit of time to think about the goals I wanna accomplish this year.
1 -- More art!
I really need to like, schedule times during the day that I should draw/sketch/whatever. But I do need to make that more consistent for sure. 'Cause I really do LOVE drawing, it's just been really hard getting used to not getting to just sit for hours on end and work on things. But I am determined this year to make it work, and I'll start with art that I owe friends/family....and then I'll work on adoptables and personal stuff, because I've got plenty of my own person characters that need to be fleshed out and given some love!
2 -- Make some mullah?
Because I want to, not because I need to. It'll be nice to have the extra money. So it may coincide with the "more art" goal, but I do know that I wanna try and make this work this year. I'm unsure about doing commissions, or even how to start them, or price them....I just.... @.=.@ I'll hopefully get this figured out....Adoptables will definitely be an option obviously, and I've already got quite a few ideas planned out, just need the motivation to do it!
And non-art related goals include -but aren't limited to: find videos to teach my son Vincent sign language, start taking more walks, go to the library more, spoil my scaley child Nahimana (corn snake :3) so she doesn't feel left out, maybe upgrade Vincent's fish tank so the Beta I got has more room to roam -and in turn get him some compatible friends. There's so much I plan to do this year, I don't even know...but I will be more determined than ever to accomplish them, I don't want to keep giving myself unmotivated, empty promises...so this year I want to be much different.
And on this glorious first day of the new year...My baby boy took his first steps by himself today!!!! It was only a few, but it nearly made me cry!! What a happy way to begin the new year!!
