General | Posted 12 years agoOk after having only 1 interview in 3-4 months, I've now got a possible 4 (2 booked, 2 more to sort out) in less than a week and a half.
My brain is gonna be plutzed by next weekend at this rate.

And yet another failed interview
General | Posted 12 years agoYup, 6 months and now 2 interviews which have failed.
No-one's wanting this loudmouthed f**k up working for them.
If anyone gives me the same lame story about job market being tough, don't waste your breath, I F**KING KNOW ALREADY!

General | Posted 12 years agoAfter now 5 months of unemployment, things are just not working out.
Applications aren't being returned, money is running short again, and a friend whom I can't help has a possibly fatal condition and can't get treatment for it (Nice going USA, for having the most RETARDED health system I've ever heard of)
All my days consist of getting up about lunch time, checking for jobs, applying. Then playing WoT or such till about dinner time then vegetating out watching TV and lurking on SL
My life is a never ending mess and I fail at everything I touch at the moment... few people want to talk to me so I won't be surprised if no-one responds to this.

News and Laughs
General | Posted 13 years agoFirst up due to recent events here in the UK regarding certain supermarkets and horsemeat in meals...
http://www.collectedcurios.com/sequ.....lart.php?s=831
On a second note, still unemployed and job hunting. which is annoying since I'm now back on unemployment again after 2 years of working. Frustrated doesn't cut it even close.
Hopefully something will turn up soon.

And that was 2012
General | Posted 13 years agoWell, after a good Christmas and such, it's now 1am here in the UK as i write this in 2013, looking back at 2012.
The start of 2012 was a real low point for me, having been made redundant from a good job, things did start pretty badly. However not all was lost, and i landed a dream job, be it only for a year in February.
From there, life certainly took a new direction,
I got time to work on my own car some, fixing a few issues and further tuning and some more time to spend with close friends, but also got to travel the world some, whilst being paid for it.
Now again much like last year I'm once again on the job hunt, but having had an experience this year and for-filling a life long ambition before i turned 30. Now I can live the rest of my life knowing I did what i wanted in life at least once.
And to this new year, what to make of it: Well firstly a car show to attend in the morning, when i finally surface from slumber, a brand new TV (I ordered it a few days ago) and.. hopefully in the not so distant future, a new job with long term prospects and continuing the theme of this past year.
To all my friends, thank you for supporting me through the highs and the lows this year. It's been tough and still proving tough to find my footing and gain a foot hold. I'd like to clear more of my debts this year, and look to save towards a house finally,
Though first on my list of things to do is a long overdue holiday, preferably to the States, and with the air miles I've gained this year, it might be a good possibility I'll be heading back once again this coming year and hopefully actually meet a few close friends who've been there for me in my times of need, and given me a laugh through the last couple of years.
To everyone, Happy New year and good tidings for this coming year.

General | Posted 13 years agoTo all those on the East coast around NY and NJ
General | Posted 13 years agoThose I know in the area, hope you're ok, I know one person's ok but would be hopeful everyone else is alright at least, and if things have got bad, that they can get through it with the least stress possible.
Goodbye to my 20s
General | Posted 13 years agoThat's it for me, as of about an hour ago UK time, this mutt is no longer in his 20s, now bounced over into my 30's.
Least I can say I for-filled a life's dream before i was 30. Now for the rest of my life.

If you played and enjoyed the original Half Life, this will blow your mind away.
So far they've got up to Lambda Core and the entrance to Zen. But that's still a good 8-10 hours of game play.

RIP Neil Armstrong
General | Posted 13 years agoToday was the passing of the first man to walk on the surface of another planetary body.
Goodbye Neil Armstrong, a shame he never saw us return to the Moon after the ending of the Apollo programme.

London 2012 Closing Ceremony
General | Posted 13 years agoOne thing stood out from all the rest, even dead for over 20 years now, Freddie Mercury can still make an entire stadium chant along, and Brian May can make a guitar sing it's heart out.
Proud to have seen this, and that the long jump Gold medallist is from my home town :D

Le Mans 2012
General | Posted 13 years ago.. was a blast.
Sat here at home having had 7 hours sleep in 72, whee sleep deprovation is amusing.
Still made it to the end with one of the teams i was working with, the other having retired at 5am with gearbox problems.
I'm exhausted, sore, but completely elated to have done this and can say without a doubt i was there.

General | Posted 13 years agoJust seen it, worth seeing if you've followed all the previous Marvel movies, there's plenty of action, some very somber moments and rather comic moments.. including a few from the Hulk! XD
Definately a must see.
If you've seen it, (don't click if you've not seen it!) this bit http://gifsoup.com/view4/3672555/hu.....-vs-loki-o.gif made me laugh myself silly, especially with the dialog lol
