I could've said something sooner, but after the last month, things have been getting better for the time being. Got the car situation dealt with, and took a good amount of time to get back to business as usual. Though, I have been trying to focus on some more personal art, as I haven't been working on them for a good chuck of time. I'll still be able to get the commissions I still owe worked on, but to not put so much pressure on myself, I'm gonna take my time. That's all I need at the end of the day.

Also, thanks to those that have been by my side and understanding when I was at my lowest point. Again, I wish I said something sooner, but better to say it now rather than later than expected.

So, I was in a pretty bad spot, and I still am. Not with one ordeal, that being the car wreck I got myself into (I'm okay) but I've been hit with being sick because of a mosquito making a meal out of me while I was sleeping. This happened like two weeks ago, so I've killed it already during that time. I've been getting better, but it's a slow recovery.

Personal I want this month to end already. This is the absolute worst month to this (so far) miserable year.

Just needed to post something. I'm still not ready to continue on with art yet because I still need to make a decision that can help me come back to doing my own art. It's taking a lot of thinking and reflecting, especially with what job I have now.

I don't want to go on to say what has been going on since yesterday (a lot of bad stuff just occurred in a simultaneous time) , but I'm just gonna say that if I don't have any updates with more art or commission work at the moment, this journal is enough to state that. So, more time is needed for me to recuperate.

I'm sorry to even mention this, but I can't keep silent on this any longer.

I'm scared as heck with all that is going on with the rampant censorship being pushed, and what YouTube is about to push with the ID stuff by using AI to track what we watch.

I did not want to post this, or even say anything. But, if I stayed silent on this subject matter, and no one is aware, then things are gonna get much worse. I know there are people being more and more aware, but things are getting very scary. I so hate it.

So, I neglected making an update because some already know that I'm still working on the ones I owe. But, I wanted to still make this update that I've been catching up. Life's been busy as usual while I was also putting up some art in between the commissions to keep myself from losing some of that momentum. Granted, not 100% of the time, but I'm still working.

Took me a bit to coming up with this, but the branding name/watermark will be given out, and it's "SilverSeptic." This is mainly for the more scat-heavy toilet art, but it'll still apply to non-scat-heavy toilet art, depending on the scenario.

Also, will be returning to making more of this soon, because I had a sudden break away from it for not having much inspiration or motivation. My bad on that for those who were waiting for some more art here.

Plus, to avoiding burnout, it's gonna be slow working on these because I've become more focus on making the type of work that satisfies me completely, and not just to make it for the sake of it.

However, despite the fact that I cannot change my username on this site, the name "Silverfantastic" will stay for other art in the future, while the "17" will be excluded.

I'm just so tired... I'm aggravated... and I'm pressured. I can not figure it out every time I thought I had it figured out. So, I'm just going to take another darn break from posting anything here or elsewhere to get my mind straight.

I have been repressing all of these brewing negative feelings lately. I feel like I never wanted to admit that I'm honestly not okay. Every time I try, nothing goes. It's just rinse and repeat, the same old thing. I'm really trying, but no, life just had to get difficult, which is why I haven't been talking to people or even attempting to talk to people, or give updates on commissions or other art because I've been on a block recently.

I know what I want to do, but nothing is working out or coming out the way I would like for it to, and I need to figure it the hell out. It's still worse that I can't explicitly talk about it as I do NOT want a repeat of previous trauma-inducing events from years ago. I'm just so tired of this... I don't just need another break. I deserve another break.

I've been more active on DeviantArt posting personal lore pics of my characters, which is why posting art on here and also on Inkbunny have been so slow. I really have been focused on fleshing out my OCs and story. Plus, some more NSFW work as been put on a pause because of this. That's really all for now. I'll still be posting here, but just not often.

Well, I've been thinking about this since last year, but it's time I finally get to doing so…

Silver The Hedgehog will not be the central character of The Silver Spotlight any longer.

Now, how will that be possible since the whole AU is tailor-made for one of my top favorite Sonic characters of all time?

Well, that means that I get a chance to create another character of my own inspired by Silver. His nickname will be Silver. Much like the human counterpart, Wayne Flynn, that I introduced back in 2021. But, the thing is, the human counterpart of Silver in that AU wasn't even like Silver if he was human. He was an original character of his own, so this is one of many reasons why I came to this decision to completely revamp this portion of The Silver Spotlight.

Honestly, for the longest time, I wish I thought of this, because of the many complications of Silver's character over the years, particularly the time-traveling aspect that I go back and forth on behind the writing. It's something I don't think I could properly handle. It's kinda sad that I had to come to this decision, because I prepared a lot of things with Silver and the story that starts with him and his friends, like Beatrice, David, and Phantom. But, things really are gonna have to change. The bright side of this is that I can't retire the shipping of Silver and Beatrice, that being SilAtrice. It's a piece of my art history that I can't really change much outside of the character of Silver.
Now, this also means that whatever I do for now on with Silver, it's just an original character to the AU. I was originally thinking about retiring the usage of game-canon Sonic characters, but that's too impossible for me to honestly do. Beatrice The Hedgehog is also another character in that example, since she's one of my more popular characters in the AU.

Another solution to what I've done is to count all of the art I did with Silver as stuff existing in an alternate reality in the TSS Canon. That way, it's technically not gone. This also doesn't mean the things I do with the other fan characters I created are gonna be scrapped, like what I'm currently doing with David, Phantom, etc. It's really just the main character, Silver. But, yeah… it really is time for me to do something that I really could've done a long time ago. I really love coming up with original characters of my own, rather than taking an existing Sonic character and changing them to fit within my imagination. I want to make this new character much like how I created Doris The Bat, and how I collaborated with a good friend to help come up with Jake The Tenrec.

If my interpretation of Silver The Hedgehog is like Superman, then I need to make a character that's inspired by two of my favorite heroes of all time. It's a win-win for this oc. Also, it's perfect for this year, as things really do need to change for the TSS Canon.

This year had it's ups and downs... like every year. But this year has been stressful when it comes to a lot of things in my personal life. Don't want to go into too much detail, but it's enough to remind me how much I'm scarred inside.

Also, been trying to keep up with developing personal art and completing commissions and trades I owe people. I had to refund a few people, so that was nice to get some weight off my shoulders, due to how much time apart it took for me to either get working on it, or just having no motivation to do anything. So, for those who are still waiting for me, I'm still sorry about all this wait. And, I have to keep myself up float, unless I'm just gonna keep having a hard time forever.

But, on the bright side, I'm trying my best with getting my driving courses worked on, for better or worse. And, thought not the most important thing, I had a great time with all the movies and shows that came out this year, the only thing that made me so happy this year. I haven't been able to watch all of them, since things have been limited, but I got to a good extent. As a Sonic and Jurassic fan, I ate good. XD With Sonic The Hedgehog 2 being a total blast, Sonic Frontiers being another blast, Sonic Prime being an absolutely fun show, Camp Cretaceous ending off with a satisfying fifth season, and Jurassic World: Dominion officially becoming my favorite Jurassic movie. Elitists and toxic fans begone! And, I'm super excited for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny next year, which prompt me to come up with my revised Indiana Hedgehog AU on DeviantArt.

Also, I do apologize for the slow activity on my accounts. Drawing has been fun, but only when I actually do the drawing, which is far in between. Also, I don't know if I'm gonna be working on a special christmas pic for this year, since I'm working during the holidays, which I hate, but at least it's short. I may work on something, but it's probably gonna be very late. Even if it'll take such a long time, I'll still be here, and I hope to continue doing what I love doing more and more.
