The (hopefully not final) thoughts of Kell Vederik.

It has been a long and unforgiving journey to Zion. Each pitfall and peril we came across we managed to pull through. Meeting up with another caravan at Zion wasn't unexpected, but it was the one I was hoping to avoid, the one from Shrad. What was worse was they had a seer with them. There may have been unnecessary bloodshed if he called me out, but he remained silent. I knew he would see, no..had seen me approaching him in a dream or something of the sort. I learned he had no interest in revealing me to his party, and went on to say that the high priest who's life I sought to end was already dead.

Armenius Tenge is dead, unfortunately not from my blade. I thought my quest for revenge was over then, but the seer went on to say that he wasn't truly responsible. I'm so close now, to unveiling who is responsible for the death of my mother; the cruel games being played with the lives of the Shradian citizens. I have no intention of dying until I have meet those responsible and made them pay for all they made me do.

Got through in a radio contest and now I get to meet Chiddy Bang next week. And I get a free lunch too.

What does your character think of his/her life? His soul is full of anguish from his life of performing 'Duties for the betterment of the city'.

happens to him after he has seen to the death of Armenius and all his kind.

What's one interesting quirk about your character? Always quiet, never removes his face mask.

Kell stands at Five feet Ten inches tall. His fur and tail have the length of a wolf's and the markings of a snow leopard. His face and body are disfigured with multiple scars and missing patches of fur, but he always hides behind his mask and clothing.

Kell started his life as any resident of Shrad does, fighting for survival. His family was by no means a wealthy family, nor were they poor. His mother was a beautiful snow leopard and his father a strong wolf. The supply shop that his father ran brought in enough good though trade to keep them alive. Because of this marginal success, the shop was the target of numerous robberies and attacks, so was his family. This is what spurred Kell to learn as much as he could about combat.

In his teen years, Kell started to fight back against the thieves. He would stalk them, track their movements and wait for an opportunity to strike. He made his first kill when he was fourteen. This lead to him being conscripted into the temple guard's special training program. By the time he had entered adulthood, he was a trained assassin for the High Priests. They trained him to kill, without question and without mercy.

He had lost track of his family by his early twenties, devoting all he was to the service of the temple. It wasn't until his last mission that his mind had been cleared of the fog placed on it by the Temple. High Priest Armenius had ordered him to attack a small hovel in the third district belonging to the uprising women's coalition. He was to kill all the residents and make it look as though the attack came from the Frost Paw faction. It wasn't until he was leaving the slaughter that he saw the face of the first person he had slain that night. She was an aged snow leopard, and her face seemed so familiar to him.

All the memories rushed back to him as if a great dam had burst. He stood there, motionless and in tears over the corps of his own mother. He remembered all the things she had done for him, all the things he had taken for granted and never thanked her for when he was training. His sorrow and pain turned to rage. As he placed his mother back down on her blood soaked cot, he set of back to the temple remembering what his mother had once said to him. His mother taught him to focus his anger to help those less fortunate and give protection and aid to those who needed it. He was going to help everyone with one grand action, the death of the high priests.

His assault failed, the priest's magic was too powerful for him alone. He fled from the city with the dwarven blade he had tried to use on Armenius, heading south into the wilderness knowing full well the dangers that awaited him. For months he traveled, fighting for his very life each day he spent in the wilderness. What rest he got was brief, but just enough to get him going again. He was lucky enough to run into a caravan heading south to Myrh. He stowed away on the undercarriage of the tail cart in the party. Each time they stopped, he'd sneak some food from their supply and relieve himself of bodily needs.

Upon reaching the city he dropped off the cart near the outer walls and wandered into the city as just another traveler. The first thing that caught his eye as he stepped through the gates was a bounty poster of himself. A paw clapped down hard on his shoulder, shoving him to the side. He stayed himself from striking the person when he saw it was one of the city guards. He tried to slink away before the guard recognized him, but it was too late as the guard called to him. "Hey you! Where do you think you're goin'?" He tensed up, waiting for the closing fight. "I recommend that someone in your state grab a health mask before you wander the city, you don't look like you could handle any form of sickness." He relaxed, all be it confused why the guard did not recognize him from the poster. He had taken a fair amount of damage from his time in the wilds, but he never really knew how bad it was. Stopping at the first stall that sold health masks, wraps, and other suck good, he stared at himself in the mirror it had. He face was so heavily scarred and maimed that he didn't realize it was a mirror he was looking in to. He pulled out his coin bag from his tattered clothing and used the money he had "acquired" in his journey to purchase a nice, form fitting mask.

Making good use of his skills, he soon found himself a job as a bodyguard. He never spoke to anyone unless he absolutely needed to and always wore his mask. He wanted to make sure that no one even had the slightest chance of recognizing him until he got his vengeance on the high priests of Shrad.

Well, it's all done. The Zombie Apoc-Fur_Lypse has finally been concluded. Sadly, Twik Tarski did not survive, but he at least died happy. Though he did last up until the very end thanks in part to the support you have all given me and I thank you greatly.

Latest installment of the Zombie Apoc-Fur-Lypse kept me on edge. I almost died, TWICE!! Lost all the plot points I just gained too.

So I need your votes once again to help me live!! This thing is almost over, we're almost out.

Scene 6b

After several years of faithful service, misuse, abuse, torment and torture my phone has finally died. Though not completely dead, it has lost functionality of nearly all the keys on the left side. So today I went out and got myself a new one.

After much thought and deliberation, I chose to get my paws on the Palm Pre. It has a full qwerty keyboard AND a touch screen. It does just as good as the droid when it comes to web surfing, maybe a bit slower on page load time. Plays music as well as any other phone. And does a good job on playing movies.

All this being sweet, the retail price on this baby was over $600. But I got it FREE!! (with the signing of a 2yr contract) all in all I just had to pay around $60 for a few accessories and that was it. I'm loving my new toy and hope to have tons of fun with it for as long, or longer, than my old phone lasted. Or until I can get my paws on a Droid.

P.S.

My number hasn't changed, but because of the crap condition my old phone is in I wasn't able to get my contact info off of it. So I'll be spending some of the weekend putting up with my old phone to get the contact info off it manually.
