How To Enjoy Things.
Posted 12 years agoSometimes it is difficult to enjoy life. Work, Tragedy & just plan exhaustion.
But, there are those times when things just all seem to come together to make
the prefect. time to relax and reflect on life.
It's at these times we should remember to stop, bookmark if you will and be
happy with who & what we are.
ALIVE..

And So It Bengins
Posted 13 years agoA new year has begun and I look forward to the endless possibilities.
Pretty optimistic about life now that we all made it through the Mayan Meltdown.
Now if only the powers that be can get their collective asses together and start making
some positive changes to our world and the direction that we are all going, then maybe
my optimism will be well place.
At any rate, I have started in that direction myself. I am so full of hope that I'm even
allowing some Jehovah Witnesses the chance to come by for a chat. Lets just say not
to many people can say that they are that optimistic.

Birthday Reflections
Posted 13 years agoAnother birthday is looming and I find myself reflecting back over my life. As many of you who know me, I always get quite and very stoic around my birthday. This year I felt that I should break from this habit and try to share a bit of what goes on in my head during this times. Usually, I think about friendship, family and how relationship have worked out through the years. Some quite happily and others ending very sadly. I also think about things I’ve said like “Now that I am 42… I must have the answers to Life, the Universe and Everything.” (Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy). Well, something I have come to understand is so many of life's old saying are so very true.
"Walk a mile in another man’s shoes." author unknown
How very true this statement is. I feel that we are all too quick to judge people solely based upon our own personal experiences. It never dawns on us that what we see as the truth is only true from our own perspective. Change places with the other person and change your reality. Some may argue that, “The Truth is the Truth, regardless of your opinion.” To those of you I offer this gift for my birthday;
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

"We've always done it that way."
Posted 14 years agoOnce this conditioning had taken effect, the researchers removed one of the monkeys from the cage and replaced him with a 2nd-generation monkey. Down came the bananas. The new monkey raced for the stairs. Before he could set foot on the bottom step, the other four monkeys grabbed him and beat him down, not wanting to experience a repeat of the previous few days' unpleasantness. No icy bath, strobe lights, or discordant music resulted. This was repeated until all of the 1st generation monkeys had been replaced by 2nd generation monkeys, none of which had experied the unpleasantness through which the 1st generation had lived.
Once the 2nd generation monkeys were completely conditioned, one of them was removed from the cage and replaced with a 3rd generation monkey. Down came the bananas. The newest monkey dashed for the food, was caught at the bottom of the stairs, and beaten down, just as the 2nd generation monkeys were beaten down by the 1st generation monkeys. During the beat-down, the new monkey cried out"Why are you guys beating me?" The beat down stopped and the four 2nd-generation monkeys looked around at each other. Finally, one of them replied..."I don't know, it's just that we've always done it that way."

Back from Beyond
Posted 15 years agoYeah, I'm back from Canada and I survived. It was nice up there, much like west DWF. I had a good time meeting my Canadian co-workers and even came out to one of them. It is really refeshing to come out to a person and have them completely accept you. I know thru the grape vine that he was gay but wasn't sure. I found out that he was in a 14 year relationship with his partner that sadly passed away from cancer 3 years ago. Wow, it really made me stop and think about Eden. This Xmas will be 5 years for us. It blows me away that it has been so long and I do love him so.
The Up and Coming Trip
Posted 15 years agoWell, It looks like I'm finally heading north. My Calgary trip is only for three days but its going to feel like forever. I hardly ever spent the night away from my mate. We have been together going on five years now and its just not something we don't do. It's a comfort to know he is there especially when I awake at night and reach over to touch him. It's going to been real hard to be away but I guess I have no choice. I think the real problem is the plane flights. It's a 4 hrs plane ride there and 4 hrs back ie. no sleep. I usually can't sleep on planes and its really silly of me but I am slightly scared. I have flown countless time before, both commercially and military but there is always that what if. I know that I am being childish but it's taken me all my life to find him and get to the point of happiness. And now to make things more difficult we have recently added a new friend/mate. We both love him and he is learning how to return that love. It is very complex but I think we all have something to give to each other. So, the thought of loosing this thru any means is very disconcerting. Well, I will get up the courage to tell them both my fears and helpful they can calm me down enough to enjoy to trip.
Dealing With Life.
Posted 15 years agoI have to admit. It is cool to have a boss that not only knows that I am Furry but can also take an ass chewing. One of my pet peeves has been the rude habit of some people that cut me off mid sentence to interject an opinion or to add a criticism. I actually had to to tell him to STFU and let me finish. Very liberating to bitch slap the Boss man.
Dallas Trip
Posted 15 years agoGot back from a quick trip to Dallas. Have to go see the Mouse.. It was a great weekend but to short. We will have to do it again soon.
The weird thing is we stop at a McD's and behind it was the Texas Chainsaw Masacrue House.

Last Minute Repreve & A Playful Project???
Posted 15 years agoThe big boss man paid us a visit yesterday and after a few brief hours of managements babbling about crap, he and the supervisor left for some meetings else where. The good news is that the Canada trip was pushed back to April. This is a good thing for me and it will give me some more time to prepare. The better news if that I was able to convince them that I needed to have an unlimited text message plan. I'm so soiled but if the company wants to pay for my cellphone then go for it.
The coolest thing that has been going on is that a certain youth wolf boy (who will remain nameless for now) and I have been playing around a bit on FA private messages. It looks like we may have the beginnings to what could turn into a pretty hot and sex short story. I’ve been waiting for him to reply and see if the banter continues to where I think to should inevitable go. Who knows? So keep your eyes open and hopefully this little witty repartee could get steamy.

EMO Lion
Posted 15 years agoSo tried of being an EMO Lion. My loves have really opened me up to a world of love and possibility. I admit that I am not use to having so many people to care about at the same time. I want to be group hugged all the time but that is not being fare or realistic. I know that I need to slow down and enjoy things and not crave after more but it is hard. Breathe Just breathe... I need to take my own advice and "Just Be."
No Bargains

Weekend off Rest
Posted 15 years agoThought I was going to chill this weekend but Noooo.... Since Saturday morning I think I have had over 20 calls for computer help. I know part of my job ois Tach support but when these dirty old men out in the middle of B.F.E are getting tronjans off of sh!tty porn site, It really screw up my fun trying to fix their F' up. Hell they should call me first... my boss has a huge collection of pre-surf virus free porn we could send them and cut out the middle man. lol Oh well job security I guess.
And if anyone is thinking about It.. No I will not fix your computer...
Well... ok. But I charge in yiffies...

Back to Work
Posted 15 years agoWell just got back from Furry Fiesta 2010 in Addision near Dallas. I think most people get really bad PCD (post con depression) because the have to still back into their hum drum live and be around people that just don't get them> I kinda lucky I guess, Not only does my co-worker and boss accept me but they were happy that I had the chance to go. We talk about must of what went on and everything is cool. I does make it a bit eazier when the boss is chill that way.
