I realize I've been rude...
Posted 12 years agoI'd like to appologize to all those who enjoyed and followed my works for simply disappearing without any explaination about four months ago. I think it can all be summed up as this, I ran out of creativity. I don't mean a simple case of writers block, its just like one day my muse up and died and I haven't been able to write anything coherient since. This could be due largely in part to a medication change I underwent about five months ago. My old mood stablizers were not properly doing their job anymore so I was switched to a new one and.... as with all pills each has their side effects. I think my burst of creativity may have been linked to the fact that while I was switching to the new mood stablizer, I had to drop the other one cold turkey. For a few wonderful weeks I felt like a high schooler again, doodling, writing, daydreaming even... but then it stopped. While it sucks I have to admit that if I have to choose between the possibility of hypo mania and depression inorder to remain creative or the certainty that I can remain emotionally stable while taking the meds... the meds win out.
Tenses
Posted 12 years agoWow... I just when through each of my works and discovered I have a serious adversion to using the simple verb 'is' and end up using the incorrect tense "was' in its place. This is why constructive criticism is welcome as it took me nearly a month to finally spot it lol.
If anybody knows any other flaws in my writing they'd like to point out, please don't hesitate to share. I want to grow as a writer! Even if I only do this as a hobby and produce mostly smut pieces lol.

Question for those reading the Born of Malice Trilogy
Posted 12 years agoI have a question for those who've read my born of malice series and enjoyed them. I'm having trouble condensing all my ideas for it into one final chapter with some kind of closure, so my question is:
Is anybody interested in me keeping the series open for later chapters?
I realize its not exactly my best work, and that when chapters come out depends on when I'm in the negitive mood required to write them but if there are people out there wanting to read more even on a infrequent basis I'll leave it open rather then just closing everything off with one last chapter.

Just a heads up
Posted 12 years agoJust wanted to let those who've been reading the story based around Long Overdue that I'm not abandoning it, I'm just taking a break to refuel on ideas for coming chapters. The risk of churning out chapters ever other day is you eventually strain your creativity to the limit. I need to let it relax so the next chapter won't turn into a total clusterfuck. Chapter eight is already half written and I only stopped realizing that it was boring as hell. It has no twists and turns essencially describing a leassurely walk. It's why I need the break, I need to get in the same mindset again. I also need time to piece together Part three of my guide series before I lose all motivation and vent alittle negitivity into a story or two not necessarily anything as bleek as my born of Malice trilogy (I've already started a third chapter lol).
I have no intention of letting any projects die and they won't remain untouched for months as I got plenty of times on my hands and no excuse not to go back and finish what I started.

Part 2 is Posted
Posted 12 years agoFinally the guide has finished being proofread and is now post for everyones enjoyment.
Reading through it you`ll see first hand the amazing work
Evertide put into making this part so much better then the last. It`s awesome how another set of eyes and fingers can go such a long way. Part 3... isn`t in writing yet though. I have to get in the same mindset I was in writing the past three parts if its going to be anything worth reading. This is tough for me as I`m easily distracted with side projects both here and outside of the furry community. The next part may not include topics I implied in Part 2 because it`s important the guide parts be consistent if they are to be readible. It all depends on what topics I choose to include and I`ve brainstormed quite a few of them.

Part 2 is still Coming
Posted 12 years ago
This all takes time and even though its been a week in proofreading I refuse to rush him simply because it'd compromise the quality of work he's doing. I know I said the guide was done and would be posted soon but I'm going to have ask those looking forward to it to be patient. Believe me it'll worth the wait once Evertide completes his proofreading.
Part 2 is complete ahead of schedule
Posted 12 years agoJust finished Part 2 and have sent it via dropbox to be proofread. Again when it will be posted depends now on the scedule of my proof reader who I will now reveal as being
Evertide
The reason that part 2 has been completed so swiftly after I said there was going to be a delay is that I've decided to condense it. This has in part been explained within the guide but I won't explain further because of spoilers. I have however only trimmed the guide so that it'd be about the same length as the last.
I'm already brainstorming for part 3, some of the topics will be revealed in the guide but I'm very open to suggestions about what topics I either could or should cover. Used suggestions of coarse will be credited to the person who suggested it in the notes section of the next guide.
In the meantime I'm going to need a break as whats been essencially 5 short stories in almost as many days has strained my muse to the limit
I thank everybody for their interest in this project, and to those who honored me by informing me I've inspired them in their own writings. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect this guide series to be this well recieved.

Part 2 Will be Delayed
Posted 12 years agoI'm about 3/4 of the way through writing part 2 of the guide and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to stay within the focus and the structure I've set for it. I've noticed topics get far too off track and even become chaotic, with writing notes being incorporated but not expanded upon leading to them looking out of place.
I feel this because I'm rushing myself to complete it so I get onto other projects and keep up with my obligations to friends and family outside my hobbies. I am going to take a break so that I can come at it with a clear head.
Adding to the Delay I've had an offer made to have future guide works proof read before I submit them. I've seriously considered the matter and have decided due to my inability to spot all typos, lore and autocorrect mistakes to accept the offer to increase the quality of the work on submission. For the moment this proof reader will remain anonymous, but once the work is complete, I send it them and I get it back they will be given credit in note section before the guide.
The guide will be completed around Tuesday or Wendsday, but depending on the Proof Readers schedule I can't say when it will be posted after that as I won't rush them given they have their own projects to work on.

Cleanup On Aisle 3
Posted 12 years agoMy FA page was in dire need of a clean up. I couldn't believe how old some of my submissions were and how long its been since I last contributed anything to the site.
Didn't get rid of everything though, even my old photoshops and badly drawn sketches. Just moved them to scraps as thats what they really are, scraps from a different time.
Updated my info and changed my featured submission to my most recent work. Hopefully I'll add more to make this page more interesting more frequently then I have in the past.
My focus has changed significantly over the years too I've noticed, I've moved away from the visual arts to something I always thought I was bad at. Writing. I wish I could have thought of something more digified to write about than pokephilia but fate has lead me here after accumilating some debts I've been asked to repay.
I really should remember to ask my friend if it'd be okay to credit him with inspiring Pokemon guide series. The reason I haven't added an author to the guides is I'd really like to put in his character as being the one writing them since I only wrote the first one because he asked me to and wanted a prop for second life.
