Changes
Posted 2 years agoIt's unfortunate when you're a fan of an artist or their characters and have been for a long while, but then their content and output changes over time to focus almost exclusively on things that you don't like, or even things that trigger your anxieties, insecurities and negative emotional states.
I suppose it's down to the artist to draw what interests them, and if they're professional and making money off of their art, to follow what's profitable and that people have the most interest or good reactions to. But it's still a shame when you feel like you 'can't' follow them or be interested anymore when they've moved away from what you enjoy.
I know that the artist(s) don't owe us/me anything, but on a personal level and for my own interests, it's still a shame for me. I hope they do well, however, and that this change in direction results in a success for them, and is as a result of having that success, or that it's given them the right spark of creativity and muse to keep creating that content - I just wish, however, it was content I could enjoy as well, or wasn't at the expense of that content I did/do enjoy, and that success or creativity wasn't focused on just those themes or content that I can't gel with or enjoy.
Yes, this journal is whining or venting. Funnily enough, it's my journal. I can do that here.
Yes, I do not enjoy things that others enjoy. No, I am not obliged to like the same as other people, and neither are you obliged to like what I like.
This rambling thought bought to you by my recent unfollowing of an artist on this platform for this very reason.
And don't worry if you're someone I know personally; it wasn't you - it was an artist who is quite popular and prominent, and whom I think I've only ever exchange a handful of words with in comments, ever.

Charity Gaming Stream
Posted 3 years agoTomorrow I'm going to be streaming a new playthrough of Fallout 3 on XBox One for 24 hours to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
I'll be playing from 12-midday UTC (or GMT) until 12-midday on Sunday.
You'll be able to follow my stream as well as donate here - https://gameheroes.macmillan.org.uk.....a-whitefeather
I'll be asking the chat to participate in decisions throughout the playthrough to affect the course of the game, in order to get people involved, and spice up the playthrough - especially since I've played Fallout 3 plenty of times before, and I have a pretty extensive and fancy guide I bought when the game was released as well, in case I've forgotten anything.
Any and all of you who want to drop in whenever you can are more than welcome, and I'll be eager for your company and participation - whether you can donate or not! But your donations will also be incredibly welcome too.
I'm excited to be playing again - especially since I had to delay it from December, when I normally play - and I'm looking forward to seeing any of you who can join me.

So many watchers lately!
Posted 3 years agoI've been getting a lot more watches lately, which is a surprise. A pleasant one, but a surprise.
I haven't updated or added much to my gallery as of late, time and energy have both been sparse, as has inspiration. But I'm hoping that will change. And I especially want to get back into the groove of writing again, but finding the 'spark' to do so has been a challenge. And I hope it will strike again so I have the desire to do something.
All the same; to anyone who has recently added me to your watch lists, I hope you enjoy what's here already, and thank you for taking the time to look.

Venting about Furry RP
Posted 4 years agoI've long been a fan of roleplaying, and especially as part of my furry fandom experience. But it seems like it's all died off now, and what used to be a large and thriving community of online roleplay through e-mail, forums and chats has sort of dwindled away.
I'm not sure if it's because it's all migrated to other services or places, like Discord and VR, or just because it's not a thing as much as it used to be. Or whether it's because roleplaying has now taken on a 'cringey' or 'bad' rep because of all the damn memes that go around about it, and that people don't take it seriously anymore as a result, and the instant reaction is tiresome 'OwO blablabla' jokes rather than anything actually constructive or interesting, if you ever dare to mention it - which is why I rarely do.
But I used to absolutely adore some of the role-play settings I'd come up with. Thunderbolt Black was a play-by-e-mail game I ran involving furry fighter pilots who were mercenaries in a post-world war three world. It went for ten years, and had a full plot, excellent character interactions and loads of action. And it just sort of... fizzled out.
I also ran a game called GEARs (in capitals as it was an acronym) which had a really in-depth setting I plotted out and wrote about to the point it might as well have been a wiki, and that got a lot of attention on an RP forum for a good few years too - but, people kept dropping out just as it was really starting to hit its' stride... which ended up burning me out on the setting.
And while it is possible to find people who want to roleplay, most of the time there's a lack of interest or motivation other than 'I want to hump your character(s)' which is like, great and all, but I'd kind of like something a bit more in-depth, motivated, captivating and with some kind of plot and engagement to it than 'AND THEN THEY FUCKED!' And some kind of drive, determination and energy to characters other than being a wall-fly, or a shrinking, timid violet or a rabid EDGY COOL fuckmonster. And having some kind of flair, energy, and interest in what you're actually writing, being descriptive and adding to the discussion of setting, plot, characters, would be nice rather than just 'ok' to anything that's said.
And for the love of everything, yes, I know that there's a high proportion of gay men in the fandom. And yes, that is a lovely and wonderful thing. But I'm very, very tired of being approached by them when I say I'm interested in RP and having to say 'sorry, no, neither me nor my character is gay, and I'm not interested'.
I'd love to get back into running and playing more text-based online RP's, through chat or forums, and with some actually involved and invested roleplayers - but it seems like there's no interest in anything much other than slice-of-life, which very much does not interest me, or suit my characters, or just plain screwing. And anyone who is already involved in RP is already doing it with their friends in some way, and isn't interested in new people.
And maybe it's my characters too. Because they're not whatever flavour of the month it is, and are more than vacuuous walking sex toys, and not 'omg so cute'.
I see plenty of other people with cool characters, cool backgrounds and stories... but not much interest in my own, sadly.
TBH, I think I'm just venting my disappointment at how things have changed, and frustration at not finding a way to participate at the moment.

Farewell, Dear Friend.
Posted 4 years agoToday, my wonderful, dear friend
ultrafox was laid to rest.
I had known him for the last two decades, virtually the entirety of my involvement in the furry fandom. He had always been a positive, vibrant and lively presence at UK Furmeets, and at any event he attended.
Ultra was one of the rare people who had time for everyone. He would listen to anyone and everyone's interest politely, with attention and interest, and would have input and things to say himself. He was polite, courteous, gentle and warm as a person, and rarely had a bad thing to say about anyone. I never recall him being cruel, unkind, or mean to anyone in person, and he was always quick-witted, humourous and bright.
He had a wickedly sharp and keen imagination, and was incredibly well-read and well-versed in fiction, which suited him well in the pursuit of his hobbies, and his work as a writer, role-play gamer, and in almost everything he did.
His art is what most people know him for now - he became an absolutely stunning and superb artist. More incredible to realise that he was entirely self taught through hard work, practice, and dedication, he learned from books and attending courses whenever able, learning to draw anatomy and proportions, first with pencil and paper, and then fully immersing and teaching himself digital artistry as well.
Quite appropriate then, that one of his art pieces went to auction at ConFuzzled, and broke all records for the auction, and still holds that position today. I remember seeing him not long after the con, and he was still amazed and astounded at the fact it happened. And yet; he still remained humble and not self-aggrandising about his work. He encouraged others around him in their own work, and to keep working on their art, and whatever their other endeavours were.
He was always an encouragement to me in my own work too. He always had encouragement for me about my writing and artwork, and advice and support to offer whenever anything was tough. When I've struggled with work, with my depression and mood, and anything else, he would always give some sound, plain and simple words of encouragement and support, and would always offer a place to get away from things and enjoy spending time doing things.
He touched many lives in the fandom, especially here in the UK, and I am pleased to know that there are so many of us that can share our memories of him with one another, and celebrate the life he lead, and the joy of it all.
I will miss him immensely, and a bright star has gone out with his passing.

Recent Commission Drive
Posted 5 years agoThanks all that commissioned me - working through my list now. The money had really, really helped, as has the boost to my confidence in my art, too. I'd lost a lot of confidence in my art in the months before Christmas, what with one thing or another and hadn't managed to put pencil to paper at all and feel like I was doing anything. Thankfully that changed recently, and actually having people take me up on commissions really made a hell of a lot of difference, too.
Still open for more if people want them - just message me if you do!

Streaming for Charity
Posted 5 years agoTomorrow I'm going to be doing a 24 hour gaming stream to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Please check in and visit to share in the fun. I'll be rocking around on Fallout 4 on Xbox One, building stuff, chatting nonsense, and generally doing silly things in an attempt to raise awareness and support for Macmillan. My father died from cancer recently, as did my uncle, so it's an important personal cause for me.
I'd love to see as many of you there as can spare the time to drop in. I'll be gaming from 12 midday on Saturday, to 12 midday on Sunday, UK Time!
I've never done any kind of streaming before, so this is all new for me. But it's for a good cause, so I'm determined to do it.
Follow the link below to the page where you can watch and donate!

Another Orbit Around the Sun
Posted 5 years agoSo, I have been away for a while due to computer issues. I received some money from the government - for once, the thieving bastards gave me some back, rather than taking more - and used it to get myself a drawing tablet and a new SSD for my laptop. However, when instaling it, I somehow managed to make a complete mess of it all, and it's only through the help of some friends I have now managed to get myself back online in any kind of acceptable or workable state.
On the upside, I now have said drawing tablet to start learning to use shortly, which means I'll also be planning to move forward with some art projects I've had on the back burner for ages, and have wanted to move on with.
This is also helped by the fact it was my 39th birthday while I was offline - I had a nice celebration with some friends, as much as Social Distancing will allow. Had a BBQ, a sufficient amount of alcohol was imbibed, and a lot of fun was had. I also visited my parents, as my father is ill. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and a brain tumour. He is starting therapy soon, so hooves crossed for that, but I wanted to see him first, while he was still feeling well enough. He's doing well right now, or at least as well as one could expect, but we'll see how his condition goes after his treatment starts.
He was quite encouraging when I saw him of my art, as was my mother. My Dad especially said to me he'd love to see something with a narrative come from my art, as he used to read Marvel and DC comics when he was younger, and I get a lot of my love of SF from him.
My wife also got me some promarker-style art markers, so I'll be turning my hooves to learning how to use them as well, further increasing my potential for different kinds of art output, something I'm eager to do. Plus I think my art style will really suit the vibrant colours markers can give, considerng how animation-inspired my art is.
I'm hoping to keep my art coming, and really start building on the stuff I've been putting out lately. I have a lot of ideas that I want to put into physical - or at least digital - reality, of things I've always had floating around in my head, waiting for when I could get the tools and materials, and when I could really start learning more. There's no time like now, and I feel like it's a good time to get moving on it all. I hope that it's all well received - and even if it isn't, it'll be my satisfaction that I'll get out of telling the stories I want to put out there, and completing them in some form or another.

Filters
Posted 5 years agoI wish FA took a leaf from other websites and introduced filters based on the content you want to see.
Because there's nothing I enjoy less than opening the site and seeing literal shit or other content I find upsetting/disagreeable/whatever.
SFW/NSFW is good, but really, there could do with being more. We can filter searches, I wish that was extended to filtering what we see, too.

Doing Some Research
Posted 5 years agoHello all. I'm looking into and gathering ideas for founding my own business, based around geeky and fandom related concepts. Essentially, it'll be like an events organization and planning company, but I'm specifically looking at concentrating on the geek/fandom/niche side of things.
I'm also especially interested in things like how fandoms and engaging with other fans has helped people with alternative lifestyles or mental and emotional health issues, and also things like putting them in touch with other creatives and professionals involved, and involving that somehow in whatever I come up with as a proposal.
Any information you can help me with would be wonderful, and equally so, if you can spread the survey around to other people and groups to gather a wider range of information.

Thanks in advance

Open for Commissions
Posted 5 years agoI am currently open for commissions. I offer a range of things, all of which are primarily traditional art, although I do scan in and tidy up with software afterwards.
My price list is currently my featured submission on my main page, so please check that for details. You can see examples of my work in my gallery - of course.
I offer NSFW and SFW work, though there are things I will not draw - please ask if you are unsure. Feel free to ask questions in the comments on this post, or note me for more information.
Thanks

Minor Personal Ranting
Posted 6 years agoPersonal opinion only, so like, don't get on my case about it, K?
But wtf is with the recent avalanche of impregnation and/or pregnancy artwork. I mean, I know it's some people's kink or whatever, but I literally cannot get away from it at the moment >.>
I wouldn't care so much, but it's like... everywhere. And it's a massive turnoff for me xD xD xD
Hopefully this trend will pass soon...!

Art Dump incoming
Posted 6 years agoAfter FA's stupid outage, I have a small backlog of art to post from Equestria Daily's New Artist Training Grounds, especially since I did a marathon to catch up on one of the days.
It'll be upcoming, as I'll be off to go to the Royal International Air Tattoo this weekend, and it's also my birthday on Sunday too, so I'll be busy otherwise, but I'll post them up when I get back, for the whole two people who probably follow me on here xD
It has been fun actually updating regularly with some art though, and I've been enjoying actually pushing myself to keep drawing regularly. I really do need to keep doing more, though I need to balance it so that I don't get burned out, too.

Update on the Horse
Posted 6 years agoSo, lot going on at the moment for me.
I am unemployed, and not doing so great on that front. I was employed at a local college as a Learning Assistant on a probationary period. It was massively fulfilling, I enjoyed working with the students and felt like it was something I was actually good at. I felt like I was doing something worthwhile and productive with my time and energy. The hours were also very good for me personally from an emotional and mental health point of view, and I managed to find good time to do my own personal projects too.
But I didn't pass the probation period, despite apparently being liked by all of the other staff, making good connections with the students, and so on. I'm not even entirely sure why I didn't pass the probation; it seems mostly like it was shit to do with paperwork. As a result, it kicked me massively in the dick and I've been finding it hard to get back on my feet since, and a bit aimless in terms of career related stuff.
The upside, is that I've moved into a house at last. My fiance and I have our own place, at last. It's fully paid up and belongs to us, too. No more throwing our money into a hole. We've begun the process of making it our own, but it's a long-term thing. Especially as the people who lived here before us didn't exactly look after all of it especially well and they made some... questionable... choices in DIY.
Also, I think the garden might be infested with Triffids.
The other major thing - and it is, indeed, a major thing - is that Annuka and I getting married.
I proposed quite some time ago by singing her a song (and she even said yes, considering I sung to her) at a SotonFurs party. That was about eighteen months ago, and now our wedding is on the 25th May, which is only a few weeks away!
Most of my time and energy has been put toward wedding planning, but I've been trying to focus on my writing when I haven't been doing that. I've been trying to get chapters written up and stored as a reserve before I start posting anything, so I have content in the buffer when I do start posting. The eventual goal is to have a full novel edited and completed, and to self-publish on Amazon or elsewhere, with paper copies also a possibility, and with that as the first part of a trilogy.
However, I need to be more strict and work-like with myself as far as that writing goes, and try and get into a routine of doing some everyday.
Likewise with my art; I have had some small success with multi-character YCH pieces on Facebook. I should post them here as well, with the next lot coming up, as it seems the main problem I have at the moment is a limited audience and my art not getting out to as many people as could potentially be interested. I'm going to bravely attempt to have a dealers' table at the next SotonFurs summer party too, so will be trying to get some art completed for that in the form of prints and a price list as well. Not holding out high hopes, but will be more of a case of dipping my toes in the water than anything else.
In the meantime, I am, as always, open for commissions, especially as right now, I need the damn money.
Opening for Adult Art YCH's
Posted 7 years agoI'll be opening for a limited number of YCH adult pieces, in an effort to raise some money.
Each piece is open for various genders, species, and the like. Each also has a variety of price points, depending on what you want to pay for them.
I am open to doing more in the future, this is testing the waters to see what I can catch at the moment. If it goes anywhere, then I might try drawing some more detailed, elaborate, and explicit works at a later date.
Details on what to do to get your own piece of Silverwind original porn are on each submission I put up.
Hope they go well!
Let's see what we get...

Open for Badges
Posted 7 years agoAs per my art feed, I'm open for Luggage Tag and conventional-style character badges. Check my commissions info for more details.
I'll also be opening for other styles of commission a bit later on too, so please keep an eye peeled if you're interested in my style of art.
I tend to do traditional art rather than digital. I am happy to post art to people too.

The Life and Times of Silverwind Blade
Posted 8 years agoI originally created the character not long after I found the furry fandom, when I was at college in Bracknell, back in 1998, when I first had access to the internet.
This was back in the day before FurAffinity, and before Social Media as a whole. There were no UK Fur forums, and not many meeting places online for furries other than MIRC chat, FurryMUCK and other such places. The biggest art repository of the time was the Velan Central Library (VCL), which is still around today. At the time though, it was super-basic, and consisted only of links to the artists’ online handle, and then directories of their art. There were no paragraphs or notes of information, and no comments, tags, or other ways to search the art.
I happened across the fandom through information in other places; Manga Mania, a UK magazine about anime and manga had a brief note in a sidebar about United Publications, who were an importer of furry and anthro comic books and art portfolios, as well as anime and manga (I bought many NTSC anime tapes from them at the time, as well as some comics and art).
From there I found my own way into the online world of the fandom, despite having drawn my own characters for years previously, my art being basic as it was then.
I hadn’t really had a ‘solid’ character at the time. I’d done a few collaborative things with friends, drawn our own silly, fun, comics that were mainly just mashups of stuff we thought was cool at the time, and was just a glorious mess of influences, storylines, settings and ‘cool shit’ that didn’t really ever get properly sorted out, or any stories, comics, or anything written for it, and was just something we talked about.
My friends drifted away into other things, mainly video games or other hobbies, but I kept drawing and writing, and equally kept getting myself into new fandoms, and still do to this day.
As such, when I found myself getting interested in the furry fandom, it was like I’d found other people who did the same as me; created characters, drew animal people and creatures, and - sometimes - created worlds they inhabited and penned adventures they had in those worlds.
For me, I can’t just create a character that exists in limbo. They aren’t just ‘there’. They have to have some substance, some background and context.
As I browsed the wonders (and weird horrors... my mind was opened so much I think my brain fell out...) of the VCL and the furry fandom’s presence online, I started to form my own character, inspired and intrigued by the ones I was seeing in front of me. A name came first; ‘Silverwind’, and then I started to add other details about this character.
I chose his species originally as a wolf with silver fur and black markings. He was a freelance pilot, who flew transforming mecha like those in Macross, another of my long-term loves and interests. He was a good guy, smart, funny, handsome and kind; as I’ve always loved and idolised heroic-type characters. A lot of his character (as in, his personality and behaviour) was influenced by a combination of Jack O’Neill from Stargate SG-1, and Isamu Dyson from Macross Plus. So, he did the right thing, was tough and uncompromising to his enemies, and those who were bad, evil, or otherwise negative personalities.
Those aspects have pretty much always remained as I’ve gone on with him, but he’s changed a lot over time in a variety of ways.
I developed various storylines and worlds around him as I’ve had him for such a long time, and these changed too. He moved from being a mecha pilot to a Special Forces power armour pilot, in a post-apocalyptic world. He changed from a wolf to a fox, and lost an eye and arm, and became and older, gruffer and less optimistic character, jaded by the world and the losses in it, and keeping himself to himself, only to be sought out to help save the world from the aliens that had taken it over. This version was inspired in part by Solid Snake, and the world around him by my long-term love of franchises where freedom fighters band together to overthrow a tyrannical and apocalyptic enemy. I also started introducing and creating other characters that lived alongside him at this point, many of whom I’ve reused over and again in various ways, or who have evolved themselves as much as he has, or who have become recurring ‘archetypes’ in my stories and in the orbit of Silverwind as a character.
There were other oddball and brief recurring versions of Silverwind too - at one point he had feathery wings, and was younger. Another brief thought had him become a her (well, mostly...), and part wolf, part fox. He gained relatives; a sister named Whitewind, who was another character who had existed in her own right for a short while.
All of these kind of faded away though, and the definitive version of him became the gruff, whiskey-drinking, cigar-smoking one-eyed, cyber-armed grizzled soldier. The settings around him changed a few times, but there was always the element of him being a military man, who was part of a family of friends and comrades, fighting against some evil, usually as part of a para-military organisation.
Eventually after several years of his being a fox, I wanted a change. My interests had changed, and the character was getting old and stale. While I loved foxes (and still do), I wanted to change my character.
Horses had always been a species of animal I’d had great love for and felt inspired by. Many secondary characters or supporting characters in my fiction had been equine, and many of my favourite characters of other friends, or artists I followed, were equine. My love for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic had also crystallised and become a solid part of my interests and makeup, and had only thrown napalm on my love for equine anthropomorphic characters.
I’d created a FiM OC, originally with a different name, but it wasn’t long before I decided to change Silverwind in a big way, and make him an equine.
Originally he was a simple anthropomorphic Pegasus, complete with feathered wings. But as I sketched out more of him in my head and formed him further into a solid character, he changed as one would expect. His fur turned from black to grey, and his mane became more of a shaggy, wild style. His tail became plaited for practicality and style; to set him apart from other characters. He also gained ‘energy’ wings, inspired by a comic strip I found online, and also a long-held idea of mine for other characters in the past, though they come and go (and I frequently just call him a horse anyway!).
His personality remained much the same, though he became less gruff, and more cocky, smart-mouthed and somewhat younger than the previous version of his character, and less scarred and battle-worn, more optimistic and naive and less hard-bitten and disillusioned.
Some of the supporting characters around him have changed too, a lot in fact. Taia, the feline who used to be his main love interest has been replaced with Irry, a character who also changes and has yet to fully set in my head; though she is an equine too, and more different in personality than the tomboyish and more forward Taia.
Naia (yes, the name is supposed to be similar) has filled in her niche somewhat, but physically is very different, being a buxom, physically large and powerful bovine woman, with a thoroughly plump but strong physique and a cool, but witty demeanor that hides her real loving nature underneath.
The setting for their adventures still remains a bit nebulous in my head. My influences change and my ideas with them, and as always, I have a dozen or more ideas for stories, settings, and plots in my head at any one time, and it’s always hard to settle on anything.
I had originally envisaged a post-apocalyptic setting, inspired by my love of the Fallout franchise, but that changed to a Space Opera idea. But now, again, I still have other ideas and concepts, going back to my ideas for a take on a modern-day or near future setting, inspired by my love for modern-day aircraft and militaria, which extends as long as my love for anthropomorphic characters. Though this too would have sci-fi elements, because to me that makes for a much, much more interesting story than a standard ‘two countries fighting’ setting or story.
I’m sure Silverwind and all of my other characters around him will continue to change and evolve, and over 20 years, I’m not surprised that he has changed. I’ve had him as a character since I was a teenager, and it’s no surprise that as I’ve evolved and changed as a person, and my interests and the way I think and feel about things and look at life has changed, that he and the setting he inhabits have changed a lot - though, he still does have a core of values, traits, and concepts that are still the same ones I’ve always held as an important part of myself.
Silverwind has always been a combination of ‘ideal’ values and traits I wish I could express myself, and things I wish I had the ability to do, and I’m sure that part of him will never change - but it’ll be interesting to look back in another five, ten, or twenty years and see if I still have him as a character, and how much he’ll have changed again.

Furry Music?
Posted 9 years agoOkay furs, can anyone recommend me some good furry musicians and in particular music tracks?
I've never really dipped my toes into the furry music scene, and I'd like to have some represented on the music playlists for the meets I run, and I'm looking to any of you guys who might know anything worth putting into the mix.
Once again, particular TRACKS not ARTISTS, I want some specific pointers!
Any kind of music is okay for now, though dance-y music would be good especially.

FA Alternatives
Posted 9 years agoHmm, might be time for me to start looking at an alternate spot to host things, after FA's latest 'incursion'.
I do have a SoFurry account, but I hate SoFurry's interface with deepest, blackest part of my soul; it's laid out terribly, and the text editor/uploaded is garbage. So, I'll have to start looking at somewhere else, I guess...?

Old Art
Posted 9 years agoJust finished re-organizing the folders (physical ones) I have that I keep my drawn and coloured art in. I've got five full ones, and one that I've just started to put new stuff in. Some of it is really, really old as well; more than ten years in some cases.
How many of you who do art keep your old pics, and for how long? And do you have all of your physical art still?

Changing Species!
Posted 9 years agoAs you may have gathered from the two most recent pieces I uploaded, I'm changing my characters species. Fox no more, I'm changing over to a Pegasus instead.
As many of you will know, I've loved horses and hoofed characters for ages, and I've toyed with the idea of making one my main fursona before, so it was something I decided to do. Of course, I still love foxes, but a horse - and a winged one at that - really called to me.
I won't lie; it was influenced by my interest in My Little Pony, but the character is not an MLP pegasus (though I do have an MLP version of the character too), and has his own background and storyline as all my characters do. I'll be writing something of that down in the future as well.
As for the specifics of the character - I'm in the process of coming up with a ref sheet for him which I'll be posting up soon too, which will answer all sorts of questions I'm sure people have as well!
Either way, I'm excited about making this change to him, and it's refreshing and invigorating for me.
And of course; sorry if you don't like it, but it's happening and that's all there is to it!
Anyhow, expect more birb-hoss stuff coming up in the future.
And no, I will not whip nor will I neigh-neigh xD

As for the specifics of the character - I'm in the process of coming up with a ref sheet for him which I'll be posting up soon too, which will answer all sorts of questions I'm sure people have as well!
Either way, I'm excited about making this change to him, and it's refreshing and invigorating for me.
And of course; sorry if you don't like it, but it's happening and that's all there is to it!
Anyhow, expect more birb-hoss stuff coming up in the future.
And no, I will not whip nor will I neigh-neigh xD
