So I have decided that I will post all of my art to my tumblr primarily from now on. I thought I might use instagram, until I realized I can’t post from my computer, and post other finished pictures that are saved files. I want to be able to go back and post some things, and be able to post some guest art as things come along. I feel like FA just isn’t used much lately, Weasyl is so slow, but tons of people use tumblr, twitter, instagram… I would like to just plop all my art on one site so I could know where to go find whatever I draw, instead of dividing up where I can post what. I have to filter my FB posts a lot because of things family would see that might freak them out, as in, my vent art. :p So, I figure I will just post everything on tumblr, from sketches to wips to finished images and even some guest art.

I will still post to all the other sites some, like I still like posting here but I may not as much. FA just isn't the same as it used to be. *shakes cane* I sound like an old-timer.

Just want to pop in and say hello and apologize for not being around much. I've started another job so I'm really busy and have like no free time and am exhausted all the time. Trying to find some time to art, I really haven't found the time/energy to even doodle. x_x And I've really been posting to FB mostly, since most of my art has been pen doodles lately. I want to keep posting this, because even though this happened about a month ago it doesn't change the impact it has had on and her family's life. Her husband David is still in the hospital, and the doctors finally told her and the family that they had only given him a 40% change of survival. But he's fighting hard! He has been on a ventilator up until now, but now they have him breathing through a tracheostomy and are doing skin grafts for his burns.

He received all of these injuries in the process of saving his wife, Melanie, from the fire. He is an amazing and strong man, and it is a miracle he is recovering as quickly as he is. But he still has a long way to go.

So not only medical bills, but their home is still gone. Their pets are still gone. They have nothing left.

So please, please, if you can, help these wonderful people.

I realize I was probably being a little dramatic about not posting here anymore. I don't think I will stop posting here, I'm just not so good at keeping up with this website anymore. I'll keep posting, and I'll keep my commissions/trades/ref and such linked here. Because as many of you say, this IS the most popular site for furry art. But as for searching through art I may not do that as often. It's my own fault really - I just watch too many people. Idk, I like a lot of art and I just immediately start watching them. Or I watch them because they are a friend, or a friend of a friend. I don't know, I just always end up watching a shit ton of people, therefore it makes it kinda overwhelming every time I miss a few days of not checking FA and check my submissions. Like, right now I have 5,780 submissions. There's no way I'm going through those so they will just get nuked even though I hate to do that.

So I'll just be less active commenting on other people's work. Yet that doesn't change my opinions about this site - there aren't many comments left anymore. But I am thinking that the days of commenting and leaving input are just past - I'm a greymuzzle, just gotta admit it I guess. I suppose a lot of that time was on DA anyway, before we migrated to FA. It's just grown even less lately. And I will still say that this whole site seems like nothing but a popularity contest. I've watched artists and friends start drawing things I never thought I would see them draw just to be popular and get more views. I understand if you need more views, need the money for commissions... I mean... I guess I sort of understand? I don't know, I just wouldn't draw certain stuff cause it makes me uncomfortable. And it seems most of my friends/acquantainces kept to that but a few went off and really changed. Becoming artists just out there to be popular. And it seems like a lot of the "new" artists I stumble across are the same way.

These are just my opinions, and why this site doesn't seem the same to me anymore.

But I guess I'll just stick to it. I have loved this site for so long I guess I can't just stay away. :/

Still, I may update more often on my other sites, depends. Sometimes I'm just so overwhelmed by all these social media websites. It's so hard to keep up with everyone - which is part of why I'll just keep posting here.

Hey guys! Or whoever actually reads this post since it seems like hardly anyone gives a shit about my FA anymore, or about FA in general.

I've really felt like the fun of this site has gotten lost in a newer age of favoriting people's art but not commenting and leaving them any kind of input. I miss the times when we would actually comment on each other's art, encourage each other. Even if it was a simple, "I like this because of the colors." I also feel like this site has become one big popularity contest, which just isn't ok with me. Therefore I'm not going to be using it as much.

I will still check in here because some of my favorite artists post here a lot, and I do find this website to the most active of most furry artists, so for commissions/trades/information of that sort I will pop in.

From now on I am going to be posting mainly to Facebook, Weasyl, DA and Tumblr.
I may still use this site as a sort of "art dump" sort of page since it has all of my art for the past few years. But as far as being active and commenting/keeping up with people, please check for me at those sites.

Alright, I've been having some huge desires to start doing more character things. While I have been drawing my babies more often I don't always have time for that, and even with art I want to start writing information about them. Biographies, histories, stories, adventures… perhaps a sort of Role Play, though not in the conventional sense, moreso writing a story and then having others reply should they feel fit. Mostly I just want to use this as a tool to keep up with my characters, my ideas about them, epiphanies I have from time to time - for example, Shadow's recent upgrade into my cast of primary voices; Laura and I's creating backstories and histories for our fursuits Ginger and Sydney, to make them into actual characters and not just fursuits; the billions of changes Phees and I have in the works…

I know part of the reason so many people have followed my art over the years is not for my artistic abilities, but for my characters and the depth I have put into them, and the emotion in my work. I'm not saying this to diss myself, I've never wanted to be a professional artist. I know my art has improved, and I'm proud of that, but i know the thing I pride myself on the most are my characters. Knowing that people have watched me for this, and are still interested in my characters, means the world to me.

Hello everyone! To those that don't know, I lost my job recently and have been struggling to make ends meet. I'm working at a very part time gig helping out a friend's grandmother who has a serious case of Alzheimer's with her daily morning care. So Monday I will be heading up to Maryland to visit my bestest bestie love of my life ! So and I just talking on the phone and my favorite part of our conversation was when we started talking about different kinds of animal poop. She was telling me how Rosechu's poops looked like cat poop cause all she wants to eat now is cat food. We were saying how those are easier to clean up than rat or human poop, since rats and humans have similar poops.

One of my closest friends Juliana who was my closest friend at Silver Hill Hospital when I worked there, and has remained as such since I left and moved to Charlotte, had her first born baby boy just a week and a half ago! He is beyond beautiful and she and her husband are so incredibly happy. She is going to be the best Mom ever!

But life always throws us curve balls, doesn't it? Poor little Philip has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, a relatively common heart disorder in infants. It is treatable, and he is going to have to have open heart surgery at only a few months old. It is frightening, but will hopefully cure this disease before it can get a hold of him and lead to his certain death.

Jules has been through a lot, and wants Philip more than anything. Unfortunately, StarBuck's health insurance only goes so far, and her husband and she are running into major financially difficulties finding payment for little Philip's surgery.

My good friend Kizzy is on the search for Colorific Colored Pencils. The company that produces them, Sanford, has stated they no longer produce these pencils. She is bummed cause she loves them, so she has decided to open up commissions to anyone who may happen to have any of these colored pencils!!
