It's funny how when someone comes in to your life, and turns things upside down, what it does to your mindset.

For the last year, I have very lethargic about how I look (other than the obvious, of course) and how I want to appear to certain people. Now that there is someone who I truly care about how they see me physically, it's like my priorities have been flipped, and it's so strange for me, however I think it is a good thing, because it can really help me in my transition.

I can't find my Wavebird (wireless Gamecube controller)!

I have the receiver, which is the piece that most people loose because it is rather small, but I have lost the bahimoth of a controller and just spent an hour digging around looking for it >.<

The fact that some asshole stole my debit card number and has charged $100 in iTunes stuff to it, leaving me with a whole $30 to my name for the next week AND no bank card to use till I get another one.

Today I feel like I need to escape this reality for a while (not in a self harm sort of way).

Does anyone else ever feel this way?

So, I have to rant someplace where my friend will have no chance of ever seeing it, because it could cause this whole issues to blow up.

So about two weeks ago I got together with a couple friends and placed an order with Amazon.jp for items totaling about ¥12000 (about $150) with stuff for various people, with the agreement from a friend living over there that she would then ship the stuff from Japan to the US. Normally I would not do this, because shipping from Japan to the US can be insane, but most of this stuff is either not available outside Japan, or is quadruple the price of what it sells for there, because eBay and other re-sellers think "hur hur, it comes from Japan, so it must be worth insane moneys" and ends up being cheaper even after shipping.

Shipping was free inside of Japan, and since she lives in the Tokyo area, she got it quick on Oct 23rd. Since then, it has SAT IN HER DAMN APARTMENT. I KNOW she has had the free time since then when she could have shipped it, because she has gone to Shinjuku multiple times to buy BJD and lolita clothes. I also know how much it will cost (oddly enough, it will be cheaper to ship it EMS, rather than SAL or Airmail) because Amazon lists the weight on most of the items or Wikipedia has weights as well.

I have no idea how to motivate her in to getting off her ass. I have even offered her money for her time, which I KNOW she needs because she posts on Facebook about it often. Most post offices in that area ARE bilingual, as well as the customs forms, plus she knows enough Japanese (she is going to a Japanese college) to conduct a simple transaction. I will NEVER be doing this with her again, to say the very least.

So, I have a Super Famicom headed my way from a friend in Japan (that's a Super Nintendo, for all you Americans) and I was just curious if anyone else out there collected games (or possibly had some for sale) for the Super Famicom.

So, because I really have no social life IRL at the moment (due to school and work), I am going to post more about myself on here :D

Today, you get 7 short term and long term goals (in no particular order) I have for my life!

1. I want to complete my transition, and express myself in real life as the person I feel I am on the inside without fear of ridicule or hate.

2. I would like to finish my schooling, so I can search for a better job and and have more money to play with :D

3. I would really like to find a person who can look past my flaws, and love me for who I am and what I have to offer and can enrich their life.

4. I want to try, over time, to at least earn a level 3 on the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test)!

5. That being said, I would also want to at least visit Japan, or even teach for a year there via the JET program or other similar system!

6. While in Asia, I would also like to tour Pyongyang (yes, that is North Korea, the DPRK) and if possible, watch the Arirang Mass Games. It's a strange one, I know x3

7. I would really like to get over my phobia of driving, because at this point it is crippling my ability to be more social and on my own.
