Posted 3 months agoHey everyone! Been a bit. Sorry for being so absent. I'm really not good at this like, publicizing thing, or community thing... But I appreciate all your support over these past many years! Each comment still gives me the warm fuzzies, and it's great to get your feedback. <3
So, updates. I'm getting my own office! That means I won't have all my stuff just crammed in my bedroom, which means I'll have a space dedicated to working! That, coupled with the laptop I purchased from some side projects, means I should be at a pretty good spot to open commissions!

Posted 5 years agoFor the first time in 2021, we’re opening up for commissions again! Starting February 1st around 6pm EST, you’ll be able to submit your ideas to me for a commission slot! It’ll be just like last time, because I think that worked out really well, as well as making it easy for me to keep track of everyone.
This time, we’re offering discounts on COWS! Gotta have some big bovine involvement in order to get the 10% discount! If you mix it with the discounted characters list, you can get up to a maximum discount of 20% off! Cow stuff isn’t required though, so don’t let that hold you back!

Thanks for the wonderful turnout on this commission cycle! We got a good amount of turnout this time around, and I'm working on contacting those accepted!
... which means everyone.
What I'm doing is that I'm accepting them in waves. Wave One will be the ones I take payment for first and work on first, thus the Wave One moniker. Once those are finished, then we move onto Wave Two.
Wave Two basically has reservations. Since I can't guarantee when the first wave will be done, they'll be set up as reserve slots, that once the first wave is done, I'll contact them and let them know they're up. If they want to go through with it, we'll be set. But if money is tight at that point, I can keep'em on coals until they're all set.
Does that makes sense? I hope so. I'm working on contacting those who contacted me and I'll let them know what section they're in!

Summer Update & July Requests
Posted 5 years agoHey all! Happy Summer! Hope you're all staying safe and comfy during these weird times. I've been keeping up my writing off on the side while I've been quiet on here. I got one comm to upload, pending approval, one story, and a short story compilation! So expect those up in the coming days.
Comms are still closed for the time being, just because I'm wanting to work on more stuff for me, and I want to practice my writing more. By practice I mean like, using series I don't use as much (Touhou, KH, Sonic, Overwatch, etc), as well as kinks or topics that I don't get to do quite as often! But how will I figure out what to do...?
I'm opening requests! Whoa! Now, there's some limits. The stories will not be super long. I want them to just be 1,000 words, or around that much. That way I can get to the good stuff and get the practice in. If I really like an idea, I might expand it out more, but I'm trying to learn how to limit myself. I might have a penchant for going a bit long on comms when I'm really into it, sooo~
So, feel free to comment below or send me a Note/PM about it if you got something in mind. I want to emphasize that this is completely voluntary on my end. I reserve the right to stop doing it if I feel like it isn't for me, or if I'm having a really rough time with it. I did a soft opening of this on Twitter and it did go pretty well, but I needed to stop one story because it just wasn't for me.

Financial Rough Spot
Posted 6 years agoHey y'all. I hate to do this, but I've run into some financial trouble because of some Virizon/Asurion bullshittery. It's going to cost me $400 to get my phone repaired, which means I've had to fully dip into the money I've earned from comms and set that aside for the repairs. I'm not in a total crisis where I'm at risk of being on the streets or whatever, but that is 400$ more than I intended on spending this week. Posted 6 years agoHey everyone. Thank you for supporting me over this past year. The kind words and comments I've gotten from you all have really kept me going. I did a lot of experimenting this year, and I made some of my finest stories. I've also made a lot of progress personally, as I've started taking real steps to combat my health problems! There's been ups and downs, but ultimately, I think I'm doing pretty good.
As for updates, I've gotten one of the commissions done out of the last batch. I had to take a break for a few weeks in order to work on a big project. But that's done, so I'm able to get started on comms once again! You'll see the results of the project around New Years! If you got a reply from me saying that your comm is accepted, we're still on! Feel free to message for updates, but I'm gunna be working on them one at a time. Thank you for your patience!

Posted 6 years agoHey everyone! It's been a while, but I've been active with my stories. October was very successful with my three TF stories, and I even went on a minivacation last week, that helped me get the Blake story done and uploaded! I have a super secret project that will be going on December, but I still plan on opening up commissions! Last time, I went a bit overboard and took on one too many commissions, so I'm going to have a hard cap on THREE stories being accepted. The rates will be the same as last time, with 100 words costing $1.50.

Discounts will be offered again, but this time, it'll be just slightly different. Before I would offer it based off three factors, which I tried keeping as like, two kinks and a series, or a theme, a kink, and a character. Three Transformations of October!
Posted 6 years agoHey guys~ I wanted to do something fun for October, so I'm planning on releasing THREE stories this month! I figured it'd be fun to do some sort of marathon, but since I'm not very good at getting something done every day, something every week or so should be good! There will be a story released:
- October 11th (today!)
- October 21st
- October 31st
The first will be a story asked for a while ago... The second will be something strange... And the third will be a surprise! So look forward to the first one later tonight, probably around 11 pm Eastern~ As always, I encourage you to reach out and give me your comments and critiques. Always makes me feel really good about what I'm doing, and it often gives me ideas for future stories.

If you have any questions, ask, and I'll answer! And if I have any questions, I'll ask you~! Just keep in mind that the window to send in your submissions will last a few days until I can get a good few ideas in, and then I'll close the submission window so I can look over what I got and make my selections! This is not a first come first serve basis. I want to make sure that I write things that I'm interested in so I don't get totally burnt out and take too long to write.

It's been a hectic couple months. But, I've managed to do a lot of work in that time! Within that work was a couple commissions backlogged, a gift for a friend, spur of the moment decisions, and more! I feel like I've really grown as a writer, and thus raised my rates. Which means that commissions will be OPENING SOON! On Monday, May 20th, I will be open to sending submissions for the next round of commissions! I'll only take two or three, depending on how big the ideas themselves are. You can send them to me on DeviantART, Furaffinity, DM me on Twitter, or send me an email! Sending an email is my favorite if only because I can keep better track of our conversations!

Future Comms & Update
Posted 6 years agoHey guys, Swan here, just wanted to let you know the state of the Writing Desk and what's been going on lately!
I currently have one comm that I'm actively working on (featuring a cutie getting big), and one that I plan on taking right after due to the client being very patient with me for the past like, year (featuring everyone's favorite shit-talking streamer girl). I managed to get a lot of writing done these past two weeks, so I should be able to get some stuff going for the next month or so.
SPEAKING OF! I do have two stories ready for release! Well. Almost ready. One is waiting for a certain time to be reached (Monday) featuring my usual messy shenanigans, and then a story featuring team RWBY (and Pyrrha) getting in some milky shenanigans! That one is waiting on some art to be done so I can have a thumbnail for it. From there, I have another Swan story involving hypnosis in the works, and Yang story from October that I'm trying to figure out.
As for future commissions, I'm thinking I'll up my prices. I've been doing this for a while, and I've certainly improved since I first started taking them, I feel. So after these next two comms are set, I believe the working price I'll be doing is $1.50 per 100 words, which would mean $15.00 for every 1000. It's not a huge spike, I feel, plus I still want to offer discounts based on either certain events going on, or my mood, so there's always a chance to bring the price down. Let me know what you think in the comments. I just need to start using my commissioned money for personal things instead of just hoarding it, as I might be doing a big cross country move in a few months.
