SO Our house got caught in that big storm and subsequent power outages the other day. We were without power for about 26 hours total, though fortunately it has since come back. UNfortunately, upon it coming back on, once it felt safe to start powering things on, we found that my PC had a hard drive failure, I wasn't able to turn it off before the UPS pooted out. I didn't lose EVERYTHING but I did lose a substantial amount of files and all of my 3D VRC avatar projects as well as various personal things which. Sucks a lot. Some of it was backed up, some of it wasn't, so not a total loss but augh.

We were able to get a new replacement drive and had a temporary one from a different machine but my pc does need to be reformatted once the new one is installed and set up so I can get everything running smoothly again. Rip all my settings and stuff. So need a little bit to get back up an running properly but will get there hopefully real quick. x-x Delays on commission work should be relatively minor as I just need to get programs set up to my preferences.

GENERAL UPDATE and stuff.

So main thing, is I'm opening for a small handful of chibi and portrait commissions tomorrow, they will be first-come, first-served and I will likely only be taking four. There are currently three from the previous batch, one of which has been started and will be priority over the newest ones, though they will all be worked on in between the larger existing projects I have, and as previously stated I will not be taking new full illustration commissions until these are finished, only little guys.

Onto the unfortunate news.
This has been a pretty difficult year mentally, from the beginning and had been progressively worsening and I'm still sort of reeling from all that's happened. There's been so many positive things that have happened too and I'm trying not to let the bad overshadow or overtake those absolute positives, (Thank you again for existing you incredible people I'm so grateful for all of you.) But unfortunately I was struck with another bit of bad on the 25th, I was calling the family to wish Merry Christmas and received the news that my Grandfather had passed away very suddenly only a few hours after my parents had just visited him, with my Grandmother having passed near the start of this year. I was caught very off guard by this news, as were we all and have been sort of reeling since then. I ask your patience as I understand that my work rate has been pretty slow and I apologize for that, but otherwise I will continue working on the owed projects and getting them out as I can.
