Will be accepting a few new commissions tomorrow; I am still preferring to keep it limited to portraits and chibis for the time being, but I made really solid progress over this last month and knocked out another that had been waiting in my queue for quite some time. I do still have another remaining that I've been working on AHH it is priority over new things.

Posted 4 years agoAs the title says, I will be opening up for a few more smaller commissions (portraits, chibis) this coming Wednesday (Jan 26th)
These will be first-come, first-served with 5 slots available.
I have a few remaining from the last set in December, these will be continue to be worked on but I did not want to take on any new larger projects as I greatly underestimated how long those would take me and I think I'm just not be ready for those full illustrations still. However I may start taking fullbody flat colors here and there to more slowly ease back into things and not feel so limited by my current parameters for commissions.
These will be first-come, first-served with 5 slots available.
I have a few remaining from the last set in December, these will be continue to be worked on but I did not want to take on any new larger projects as I greatly underestimated how long those would take me and I think I'm just not be ready for those full illustrations still. How this year has just...flown by, and what a year it was x-x, I think many can agree that it just...was not the greatest in a lot of ways. Oof. But here we are at the end, and here's hoping the next is better (if only a little!)
I have been working on commissions and I have been working through that list but I'm afraid I may have taken on too much at the beginning of the month, as I am still working through those. So I will not be opening for new commissions for January so I can continue to work though the ones I have without piling more on and I am incredibly fortunate that I'm in a position that it isn't an issue otherwise. When next I open I will be more careful about easing in to larger projects, I sort of dove headfirst into big things after only taking little things for most of the past....1-2 years? OOF.
Thank you so much for your patience to those who have been waiting.
Also I have definitely been very bad about posting completed works, which can make it seem like I'm not getting much done, then I post in batches every 2-3 months. I NEED TO STOP THAT and post more regularly, it's not the WORST but I don't think it's a great habit to have.
And the mantra as ever is MORE. PERSONAL. ART. I keep wanting to do so much personal but just never do.
New years resolutions maybe, post more regularly and do more personal art. Maybe stream once in a while again
(Try to fall back in love with it u_u)

Posted 4 years agoPretty much as the title says. I'm feeling well enough to get back to work on commissions. It's really unfortunate that this cold was bad enough to knock me down for a week, and it's actually still hanging on but the symptoms aren't keeping me more or less bedridden anymore. And it really was just a nasty cold :V

A nasty cold has been floating around the household and after avoiding it for a while it finally got its icky hands on me.
THE GOOD NEWS is that its not covid. Tests have been done and everyone here has had both doses as well but it is quite an asskicker. So while I will still try to make some progress on things, it's going to be a fair bit slower until I recover x-x

These are first-come, first-served
SFW only
Couples/double characters allowed
Any species
Flat rate of $60 per character with the exception of adding wings which would be an additional $10 per pair.
Also I do have one portrait commission remaining from the last opening, this takes priority over new ones.
Work will be slightly slow still; moving has taken quite a lot and been such a long and drawn out process but things are starting to settle a tiny tiny bit x-x

So MOSTLY moved to the new place now. it's been kinda hectic between packing, hauling, and unpacking. When i've moved before it's always been at least a week between packing and unpacking because it was longer distance moves, but this one was pretty short so its like OOF BUSY. There is of course plenty more to do and things aren't quite settled yet, but I'll be able to start poking at commission work again here soon. Already have my PC and net set up so it's just having the dust settle from the big event!
There's still so much to do and a bit more back and forth that needs to be done, but so far it's progressing.

Moving in a week!

A week from today my housemates and myself are moving! It isn't far, but we are having to go through that hassle of packing up everything and all that so for the next week or so, commission work is pretty much put on hold until after.
I fortunately finished all of the smaller ones I took last month so when I get back to it, there's not as much on the list. I DO however have a few lingering larger commissions from before I switched to taking these for a while. Once everything is settled, I'll be putting more focus on those again.

These DO NOT include the new chibi/portraits for the month of July.
If I'm missing anyone, please let me know!

Please keep in mind that I have a few remaining from the previous opening (Two out of eight). These are priority over new ones, but should have them finished by the 1st.
Also as a heads up, my moving date is on the 9th so while I will try to have all of these smaller commissions done before then, there will be a bit of time coming up where I am unable to work.
-These Commissions are a flat rate of $60, with the exception of Chibis with wings. (Wings would be an additional $10 per pair)

Posted 4 years agoAs title says, about mid July we here are going to be moving, so the next two months are going to be a bit hectic. I will still have time to work on commissions, but especially near the end of the month I'll have a lot less time so I'm going to try and get as much as I can done before then.

I go get my second dose of the vaccine tomorrow so there's the possibility it knocks me on my ass. Should only be for the next two days at most, then work will proceed as normal!

Posted 4 years agoSome may have noticed that I've been quiet, not even taking chibi/portrait commissions for the past few months.
I managed to finish my queue (MOSTLY, there are two currently active that have already been started) and I'm taking a bit of a step back to breathe. I am in the very fortunate position where I can do that and take a bit of time to refocus.
I've got some very serious burnout right now and I'm struggling a little bit even with smaller doodle things, let alone full illustrations. As much as I want to do more, it's been a fair bit more difficult lately and it's...not great.
Mixed in with some life things I'm just taking a break to keep it from being too overwhelming.
I am still around if needed.
