Fursuit, who to get one from that is open for new ones?
Posted 13 years agoI'm thinking of getting a new PG Otter, from a better maker. But who. Most of the ones I'm interested in arn't taking new orders, and some of the new ones that I have never heard of are charging 2500-3000$ for opening bid. Fuck that noise, 2000 for an otter is around the tops I care to run.
So, who would anyone here recommend that is open for new orders between the 1-2k range?

Fixing up my otter fursuit.
Posted 13 years agoFixing up my Noblesuit otter. Got fed up of having a zipper and a chest seam in the front, so removed it all and putting a solid peice for the chest, and the zipper down the spine in the back. Man this is an ass pain. If I ever order a new fursuit at least now I know what to ask for.

Posted 13 years agoI'm doing something wrong it seems. I have been single now for 7 or so years now. The past few times I have gotten close to someone or wanted to get into a relationship with someone they always become uninterested or want to date someone else before I ask them out. But I know furs who the second they get out of a relationship they are right back into one. Sometimes that person will be in several different relationships in a year, or others who break up after years long relationship and then find a new one in a minute.
So I'm doing something wrong, I hope to figure it out and solve the problem before I ruin another chance. I would really like to be in a relationship again, phooy.

Furcons, Fursuit, or a Fishtank? I think fishtank :)
Posted 14 years agoYep pretty much how it sounds. A nice 120G salt water setup with stand and filters and all the other goodies. I give it around 3,000-4,000 total after fish and rock and sand and stuff.
But for that kind of money I could get a new fursuit, or go to just about every con this year. I'm not as excited about cons aside from TFF and CampFeral because most of my 'friends' have wondered off and don't really care for my company anymore. I don't want to rent out a room all by my self as I did the last year or two, so I think it would be better to put that money into either a fishtank or fursuit. With the kind of money going into either furcons will take a back seat for my other hobbies this year.

Found out why such a sick otter.
Posted 14 years agoSo my GI doctor got in the test results that just got sent off. Found out my White Blood cell count is low in the normal range and I was very much O.O. He asked me if I have been on Antibiotics or Allergy meds, which I have been on strong dose of both for about 3 months now. That was the cause so felt much better. He then tells me they did tests of a few different cancers, Immuno diseases, HIV/AIDS and Lupus(hahaha) and all came back neg. So feel better, but thats why I keep getting sick the past few months. My immune system is bonkers x.x

Posted 14 years agoOh yeah, went to the doc friday due to 2 day high fever (103) and pulled my back coughing sunday. Pneumonia & a pulled back suck for newyears. At least it wasnt anything contagious. When I start to get sick or feel bad I should really stop working and stay home, and not just say fuck it and work 10hrs inside/outside while the weather is poor. At least I'm on the upswing with most things.

Finding a mate would be nice, havn't had one of those in a few years.

Nothing really. Camp Feral 2011 was amazing though.

Had shoulder surgery, feels much better now even though Physical Therapy sucked.

Shoulder surgery, GI issues.

Posted 14 years agoYes, I live. Getting better which is good. Hopefully my GI problems are gone and I dont need to go in for surgery. But because this year for me has been very stressful and painful today is my day to relax and be goofy, figure it cant hurt :).

Posted 14 years agoWell for 2 weekends in a row I have fri/sat/sun off. Someone should visit me or I should visit someone. But who and where and what? I like having company more then going out myself, but if the drive isnt bad then we shall see.

Posted 14 years agoI'm amazed some people didn't know this about me. But I'm not a republicant. I believe very much in either a nonavoidable flat tax on everyone who makes over 30,000$ a year or to keep the current scale but make it 10% more if you make over 1,000,000$ a year.
If you at all follow the news, someone who makes 10+ mil a year pays between 0 - 4,000$ a year in taxes. Lets say I make 50,000$ a year I end up paying close to 9,000$ in taxes. How is this fair, and how is me paying more the person who goes out and tries to spend money to stimulate the economy while those that just sit on their money do nothing.
"The rich make jobs" If this is true why with all the tax cuts to the rich and all the big bonus the rich get, is unemployment sitting around 10% with record breaking ammount of job cuts and business leaving the USA? The ONLY way the US will get at all better is if we balance the scales and stop making the people who have 20% of the total wealth pay for 90% of the budget. Think of it that way.

Posted 14 years agoI have been having stomach problems. Throwing up, throwing up blood, bad heartburn for about a month. My doctor sent me to a GI doctor and after talking with him I now get to go in on Wednesday to have a scope put down my throat to find out if I have ulcers or something else and where they are. Not really looking forward to it but oh well.
Something odd happened at work, and all the Home Theater installers are suspended. I havnt been, so still working, but I dont know what happened or if I'm in trouble and they are just waiting. Will hopefully know more in 2 weeks.

Who to get art from.
Posted 14 years agoI need to get some nice artwork done of my otter and maybe my coon together. Nothing sexual (probably) but something cute. Any ideas on who I should comish that doesnt have a huge wait and is professional?
And maybe get a 'cute young' badge for my otter. I have a few ideas that I think would be cute, but the second you mention cubfur or babyfur most people grab the pitchfork and torches... speaking of *SKYRIM*

Thanksgiving.
Posted 14 years agoWell I got a free turkey when I got my ham, and picked up a nice beef tenderloin. So now the turkey is in a brine in the fridge, the tenderloin is trimmed and ready to go, and the ham is a ham. I'm thinking of doing something neat with the tenderloin, making a hot carpaccio. The turkey will be slow roasted over most of a day in a slow cooker. The ham will get a nice glaze. Sweet potato something or other, mixed veggies, and other random things.
Sucks having only myself and the roomie though, going to have lots of left overs to freeze. Usually have guests but everyone is out of town this year or unable to visit.

Posted 14 years agoNaughty fursuit vid and all that so dont look if you arnt into it. Let me know what you think. It was kind of last minute spur of the moment, so not one of my best but still fun. Messy finish at the end. This is something I need to do a lot more often, hopefully with something other then a plush tiger though.
I love making videos, one of these days I'm going to find someone to play camera man though. I'm sure my videos could be better if I had someone to zoom in and out and point the stupid camera. But until then I just have my fixed tripod.

CampFeral2011 in review.

Showed up in Buffalo to stay with Bandit the day before camp, well the night really and had some interesting greek food before it was bedtime.
The next day we left with Cj, Bandit, and myself to Toronto to meet the bus. Bandit as always drives very well but to me very crazy. But we did make it up to Toronto safely. Oh and most Canadians drive very bad and wont yeald to faster drivers x.x . Anywho met with a few friends and hung out at the mall and exchanged money then off to camp.
Here is where most cons tend to blur a bit for me. That night we met the others who would be in our cabin, only Bandit, CJ, Questionmark, Kitfox, and myself. Kit wasnt there yet the first or second day even. I never made it up to the upper hill campfire the whole event. But I did often spend time down at the lower campfire just listing to it and the water and chatting with random furries. I managed to get in suit and run around a few times, and had some pics taken of me shooting basketball and being a general Raccoon nightmare. The last full day I got out onto the lake in kayak in partial and the silly kayak was broken so I sunk it, but I managed to get back to the dock before it went under to toss my head and paws off on dry land. Met lots of old friends and even met a few new ones :). Spent most nights at the far swimdock with different furs watching the stars and just enjoying nature. The food was pretty good and I even made breakfast the first day. Mmmm bacon :). I got to go swimming a lot which really helped my shoulder, still a struggle to do some things but every day is better then the last usually. I was a Patron so I got to go to the party and have some RooBrew and it was very nummy. I think next year I will bring up some of my wine if I have any and they let me. I didn't get quite as many snuggles as an Otter would like, so I have to go back next year and hopefully fill my yearly quota. As always Feral was a blast, and I give it an A+ as far as cons go.
