Posted 17 years agoI'm seriously done, for good, with trolling/spamming/etc. At first, it's sorta funny in that you can get away with a lot of stuff. But after a while, I'm getting burned out on it, and now it's sort of a bad addiction that I need to stop.
First off, if I've ever, ever, ever flamed/trolled/spammed/whatever your page/submissions/journals/etc. here on FA or on any other place out there, let me first and foremost apologize for any hurt or alienation I've caused, and that I only ask for your forgiveness if it's not too late. I also would like to make reparations and see if we couldn't start things off again, on the right foot this time.
Along those same lines, I wish there was a way to directly apologize to anyone who has me blocked (yeah, there are a few, as I've discovered), but unless someone else sends my words of apology vicariously to them, I'm afraid I really can't make amends with them.
The thing is, I care about people. I want to make people happy and I want to be known as a friend to everyone. I feel like, with some folks, I have suffered greatly in that department. I get anxious and bogged down whenever I think of how much I've kinda fucked up with some potential friends.
But enough of that, I just want to say I want to turn things around, and try to rebuild a reputation as someone who really cares. Thanks for listening everyone; I really appreciate each and every one of you guys ^^ As my only real connection to the furry community, you guys make each moment worthwhile.

Posted 17 years agoA friend of mine pointed out to me that writers here on FA need to grow some THICK SKIN and learn how to take critiques better. Seriously, he showed me this one story where everyone was basically pandering to the writer, and then when he decides to add some real input, it's like, OH NO YOU DON'T, THIS IS MY STORY AND YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO JUST SHUT UP AND ACCEPT THAT I'M BRILLIANT, OKAY?
okay, so, maaaaybe it wasn't like that. But really, someone who is critiquing (spelling? lol) your work means that they want you to get better! :D not because they're inherently critical and evil or something. If you never face any critique, you'll never get better, period.

Posted 17 years agoMan, I'm starting to hate talking on messenger more and more, mostly just because I always leave with this 'blah' feeling, like "why did I bother to talk to so-n-so?" or "God, that was the most awkward/stagnant/boring/pointless/etc. conversation I've ever gone through" or "Well, THAT person sucessfully made me feel like utter shit"

Overhaul
Posted 17 years agojust got done moving my "meh..." submissions into the scraps. And I finally deleted all those crazy pics of me dancing to music (jesusfuck there were so many).
I'll probably be deleting other "wtf" pictures soon, too :3 More room for what's important: stories and songs about fat furries, muscle furries, etc.

I get a bit tired of hearing about furry drama, people wanting to leave FA, furry hate, etc etc etc, all that malarky that everyone brings up that makes the furry community BAD.
You know what I wanna do instead?
How about make a list of things that make being a furry AWESOME???
Better yet, how about we ALL make a list like that?
THE GREAT THINGS ABOUT BEING A FURRY:
- Cons
- Bringing people together around the world
- Great art and literature (and music, too!)
- IM/RP/Chat/etc. is FUN!
- Plushies are awesome
- There seems to be a niche for everyone
- Some of the nicest folks are furries
- FA is a nice place that's FREE and has a very nice interface, and has an entertaining entourage and management staff
- From the most simple to the most exotic, everyone has a place in the community
- Being a furry helps build tolerance
- We have our own brand of humor
- Despite what the world may think, each furry has their own unique experience, be it a casual hobby to a total lifestyle
Have anything you think should be added to the list? Take what I have so far and either add to it, or make your own list. It'll be sweet!

I'm Finally Back! - and other good news
Posted 17 years agoIf any of you have been wondering where I've been, then yes, I've been gone for a little over a month now from FA 'n stuff. Had to get a bit of fresh air, so to say. Lots of folks I really want to avoid at all costs sort of thing. Sorry for leaving anyone in the dark about what was going on, but I felt it was best to just leave without saying anything. Something some of the Emo furries could learn (you know who you are, lol) is that if you want to leave FA, then LEAVE, don't say anything, just leave and leave silently. It's easier to stay away that way.
Anywho, I need some catching up, it seems like. First off, my apologies to anyone who's been waiting on me for anything. Poetigress, I'll send you my story idea soon, sorry to leave ya hanging like that :3 Had to get away from it all, y'know?

1. I like getting comments. Simple as that.
2. I really get tired of folks that, when you tell them that you enjoy their works, and most of the time these are writers, they hardly act flattered, and in fact they act as if you're supposed to like them. Instead of saying "thanks, I'm really glad you enjoy my art/stories/etc." they say things more along the lines of "thanks, isn't my stuff just great?" And they mean it. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
3. I find scat/piss/etc. fetishes absolutely horrid.
4. People act different around me, and it's a little agitating sometimes...but those that don't, I luv ya :D
5. I really, really don't care if you don't like what I write/do/whatever, but if you do like it then that's wonderful, and I sincerely appreciate it. (Really!)
