So my hubby and I moved to Vancouver, Washington! Which has been pretty awesome so far. It's like Boise, but everything is better. I don't have a job in the area yet, but I have a bunch of interviews lined up so that should be coming up soon. If any of you are in the Portland area, I would love to hang out!!! New things! Hyaaaah!

So, funny story, I totally lost my FA account for 8 or nine months. After the first two I honestly stopped counting...
"How did this happen?" you ask. Well it turns out that I can't remember passwords worth a shit and hadn't updated my email in 5 years. :/ Long story short, I was unable to get my account back and moved over to Weasyl after giving up on FA forever. Fortunately, Inagus is more stubborn and computer literate than I and was able to get my email updated! And there was much rejoicing!
So what has happened with me during this time? For one, I've changed the city which I plan to move to: Portland! As soon as I can find a job there, that is. (on a side note, if you live in the Portland area and know of someplace that is hiring, please message me.) But that may be easier to do now because I GOT MARRIED! To Inangus, of course. Which was a crazy fast thing that we decided to do and accomplished in a month. That was definitely the right decision for us. But that's really about it.
Now on to see if I can sift through my 3200 submissions...

right now the drama here amongst the idaho furs has reached some pretty epic proportions. friends are turning on each other, people who don't know each other are sending out hate mail and death threats, and word bullets are flying left and right. if you are like me, this whole mess just makes you feel like you're sitting next to a big pile of shit that you can't escape from. things may have been said to you or your loved ones that should never have been said. feelings on all sides have been hurt. while i know the causes of these things can't be completely eradicated, there is something that i think could help. i would like you all to do two things:
1) stand in front of a mirror. look yourself in the eyes and remind yourself. YOU are an awesome person. YOU matter to those around you. YOU are loved. YOU are beautiful. don't let them hurt you just because they are frustrated and hurt. stand up for what you truly believe in and you will never fail.
2) forgive them. i know it's going to take me a while to recover from some of this and take my own advise and i'm not saying it's going to cure all of our problems, but it is the first step to getting a happier and healthier fur community here in idaho.

it's been a while since i wrote a journal so i figured i should update everyone! things are going very well for me right now. i've managed to get away from the crazy bitch roomies that seem to plague my life and have come to share an appartment with my goor friend becca, who many of you know, and her lovely kitty yuki! we've been getting along just great so far and things are looking good that we'll be roomies for a while to come! school has also been going well for me. i'm taking multivariable and vector calculus, physics with calculus, foundations of education, and education technology. i've been enjoying all my classes, even though i bitch about the calc. i've managed to catch myself a private math tutor which will be described later. the education classes are a nice change and are really getting me psyched up to teach some day! my love life's been doing pretty well as well. i've started dating an idaho furry known as inangus. he's a total sweetie and a math major (thus the private tutor). <3
so on the whole, life is fantastic! i hope it's going as well for you as it is for me.
