Hey everyone!

Just thought I'd throw out a quick update. I've been down to Acapulco and now we're back in Zihuatanejo. We (the boat I'm on) just completed a charity fundraiser called Zihua Sail Fest. We participated in a pursuit race that we placed first in and we also participated in a sail parade. All in all, it's been a pretty good week.

I ended the week with turning 21 on Sunday, the 9th. Unfortunately, it's not that big of a deal here in Mexico as the legal drinking age is 18. I've been drinking for awhile anyway, soooo... However, I did NOT get to drink on my birthday because of this nasty ear infection I've been battling. It got really bad and I was on antibiotics & pain medication (still am... sorta). I've pretty much been boat ridden for the last few days and just now am I feeling better. I'm still not 100% but I'm getting there. I didn't have many ear infections as a child (children are especially prone to ear illnesses) but this ONE makes up for all 18 years without one.

We're expected to be back in San Diego for the 4th of July & as of this moment, I am not sure as to what my plans are for the 4th.

ALSO: Ender's Game. I LOVED the movie. I've come to the conclusion someone really needs to make a laser tag in 0 gravity as a fun time to be had by all.


I will end this by asking how all of you are? I really miss my friends back home so updates please!

For the last three weeks, I've been in Mexico! I arrived in Mazatlan, did work there, we left for San Blas, worked for a week and now we're currently sitting in La Cruz. I should also mention I'm on a schooner.... so no job, persay, just working on the boat.

So far, it's my favorite lil town! It's adorable and if you blink, you miss the majority of it. As I type this, I lay on a comfy little couch thingy on the deck, am looking at an amazing sunset with my boyfriend and realizing I'm happier than I've been in a super long time.

In a couple days, we're gonna be sailing for Manzanillo, which is a little resort town. I'm very excited for all these towns! We might be sailing towards San Diego come May-June so I might be home for a little while. I still haven't decided what I'm doing or where I'm going when I get finished with this cruise.

Things on the homefront aren't exactly peachy, but I'm surviving 1500 miles away. I'm a happy lil clam!

So. I'm back from two week vacation in Mazatlan, Mexico.

I returned on Monday. As many of you know, I was actually supposed to stay for longer than two weeks. I flew home early because I fell extremely ill this last weekend. Saturday night (21st), I started experiencing headaches, fevers and vomiting. Sunday it just managed to get extremely worst. I was unable to keep even two bites of ramen down. I figured it was best that I return on Monday.

I went straight to Urgent Care. My fever got up to 101.8 even with the fever reducers they put me on. It refused to break. They hooked me up to morphine, antibiotics and a little more pain relievers. I went home a few hours after. The next morning I ran my highest fever of 102.3. It took 4 hours to break but thankfully I haven't had another fever since. I managed to keep actual food down last night. I never thought the taste of food would be so heavenly (I hadn't eaten since Saturday and yesterday was Wednesday... do the math). Mostly, I'm just dealing with stomach aches and body aches.

I did have a good time in Mexico while I was there. I anticipate going back in a couple months when my grandfather's boat heads to Puerto Vallarta.

So right now, it's nearing the end of Summer at Seaworld & things aren't looking that bright for me. Honestly, I'm at the point of I don't care either way if they keep me past Labor Day.

Other than that, I'm gearing up for my solo vacation to Mazatlan, Mexico! For those that don't know where that it is, it's in the state of Sinaloa probably about 24 - 25 hours north of Baja. I'll be leaving on September 9 (15 days!!!) and will return on September 23 (BOOOO!). That's a good two week vacation and I haven't had a vacation in... well, ever. I'm going to visit my family down there & I'm looking forward to all the awesome fun times that will be had.

I'll come back and shortly be employed again and right before New Years', I'm thinking of returning for a longer period. I'm super excited to do this because I'll be on my grandpa's boat and travelling is something he always does. I've always wanted to travel!! :D But this is just a small update, for everyone.

Hello, my friends and watchers!!

I have some awesome news to share! My life, it seems, is changing by the day. I've enrolled in the local community college here and I'll be receiving my Associates in Nursing with hopes of transferring to a university for my Bachelor's. I'm taking my placement exams in a couple weeks and that means, registering for classes will be followed close by.

Secondly, the news I'm most excited! I've been promoted at Seaworld San Diego. Starting Monday, I'll be an Assistant Supervisor. Frankly, I walked out of my first interview feeling like I failed it miserably. However, with 15 minutes of notice before my follow up interview, I walked in with complete confidence in myself as well as the mantra: 'Today's a good day. It's going to continue to be a good day whether I get this position or not.'

Well, it continued greatly! My supervisor told me I interviewed extremely well and I had an OUTSTANDING recommendation from him. I am now an Assistant Supervisor!! :) I cannot tell you how proud I am of myself. I've worked very hard to get where I am right now and everything seems like it's falling into place. My schooling, my job, now I need a few other things to get into place, and I'll be golden. Unfortunately, due to some odd circumstances, I do have to be patient and wait for things to happen...

Oh GOSH. Califur this year had its ups and downs for me, but overall, was pretty fucking awesome! I did in fact debut my Sin partial made by kittencheshire, however, there were a few issues that needed to be resolved before I could take her home. If you took any pictures of me with my suit on, can you link me please?? I didn't get many good pictures myself.

Friday was awesome... Mostly just wandered around. Blaze and I arrived shortly before 10 am. Our AMAZING roommates were dragonswings and nieghclaw. We also hosted cheshkitten in our room on Saturday through Sunday. She provided the mixers for the booze and we provided the crash space. It turned out to be a great arrangement.. ;)

Saturday... Oh boy. This was one of the best AND worst days of the convention for me... for any convention I've been to. Firstly, I did walk in the fursuit parade! That was awesome... I didn't think I was gonna be able to make it but it turned out the route was shorter than I remembered and I survived!! YAY! :D ...I started drinking right after that. I was SUPPOSED to go swimming, but that went out the door after Captain Morgan and Jack Daniels decided they wanted to become my best friends. I've never been that drunk before.. Before I go on, I'm very positive my drunken shenanigans hurt quite a few people, and I'm so so so sorry. I am COMPLETELY humiliated in my behavior that evening. I know I've been forgiven by the people that matter most to me, but I know it doesn't change what I did and/or said. Again, I'm so very sorry. I ended up with a hangover... a really icky hangover.

Sunday came too soon. I said bye to friends I became closer with and brand new friends. Blaze and I stayed until this morning since we knew we wouldn't want to drive back right after con. The pool party on Sunday night was fucking awesome. Hookah, jacuzzi and pool time. Awesome, amazing times were hard.

First let me start off by saying: I hate complaining about my life. But this is the one and only thing I'm going to write on this subject:

So lately, a lot has been happening. So much so that I'm stressing out over everything in my life. I'm working two jobs, 40+ hours a week, applied for a temporary promotion at one of them, I'm saving hundreds of dollars a month to move into an apartment (that apparently is a lot more complicated than I originally thought), I'm already having issues in my personal life. I feel like all of this is gonna affect my friendships and/or future relationships I'm currently in pursuance of. Recently, a friend of mine told me my posts were bipolar of sorts. First, let me point out:

No, I'm not bipolar. I'm an adult who is stressing. Yes, I'll have some good points in my day, but right now everything seems like it's just a bad day for me. Hell, today, I did a no sale on my register 5 times because I just wasn't there mentally. Like every other person in this fandom, at some point in their life, I am struggling. I have a lot of goals. There is SO much I want to do in my life right now, that my body and mind is overwhelmed. The fact that I'm not a 90 lb heart attack survivor is beyond me at this point.. I strive for close to, if not, perfection. I have a vision. I want this and that and in this time frame. It stresses me to NO END if I can't meet that deadline. There's so much going in my life right now, please please forgive me if when I talk to you, I seem like I'm agitated. Right now, there are 3 people in my life that I talk to on a regular basis.

A lot of you know me by the smile I wear when I'm at meets. I can't always be that happy person. Especially with missing meets, and missing my friends. Nieghclaw has been a common resident of my house every weekend for pretty much the last month. I've gotten used to it and I've been really happy. He's helped me keep it together in a lot of stressful situations in my home life. But right now, I'm inviting him over and saying: 'Yeah, you're welcome to come over Friday. But I won't be home til almost 11. Oh, and I work an 8.5 hour shift on Saturday. I wish we could go apartment hunting all together, but unfortunately, you and Blaze have to do it alone." Do you even understand how frustrating this is?!?! I feel like my personal life is deteriorating before my eyes and unfortunately, if I stop it, that means I stop doing what I /need/ to do in order to become a stable adult.

This weekend I missed my first PS in awhile... I didn't attend the last LMFAO. And right now, I only have plans to attend RaKet's Earth Day meetup & Califur. Earth Day is April 21...Califur is May 31. Do the math. How many meets will I miss in between those two? LOTS. Too many to count. Excuse my irritability because I'm missing out on my life.

Gara & Nieghclaw: For the short time I've known you both, you have been gracious, kind and amazing. You've been there for me in situations that you didn't have to be. You've allowed me to rant & vent when the fault is probably no one's but my own. You sit there and listen to my problems and offer an ear, and I thank you. You make me laugh and drive me insanely bonkers most times, but I'm glad you do. I'm very grateful to have such amazing friends, not just you two, but everyone in my life.

So, since FC, my life has been a whirlwind of emotions. I've encountered numerous changes when it comes to my relationship with blazearctic and I don't see that ending in the near future.

Just a quick update, in case any were wondering. Califur is a go. The room is reserved and as far as I know, my (FOR SURE) roommates are as follows:



We're possibly expecting one more, but it's not certain yet. We need to get our registrations, but other than that, we're awesome.

Blaze, Nieghclaw and I will be moving into an apartment either before Califur or slightly after. It's gonna be somewhere between San Diego and Camp Pendleton. Probably somewhere in the middle. Those details aren't exactly clear yet. I'm also gonna be working 2 jobs, yet again, for a little while. That may change, but I like working, so we'll see. I'm also looking at getting my own car at some point in the next few months.

I'm 4'8". My favorite feature is my green eyes. I despise having a tummy. My feet are smaller than most guys' hands. I've dyed my hair Black and Auburn... I much prefer the Auburn.
