If you've been keeping up with me much, you'll know I'm aiming to get some new hardware to turn my sad excuse for a workspace into a real one. I draw and stream off of a little 2-in-1 Samsung which is doing much better than I ever expected but it's still hard because of the size and limitation of the device anyways.

But that's not what you're here for! You're interested in a commission! Maybe? You can see my normal prices for commissions on my profile but I'm doing Pay What You Want until I reach my goal. You can actually see the % I am to my goal on Ko-fi. Normally I reserve this for only during streams but I wanted to extend it out to anyone that maybe can't access the stream for one reason or another.

This is a first come, first serve. I will be doing any commissions in order of the time stamp. Feel free to ask any questions, they will not tie you down to getting a commission. In fact, it helps me better provide information in the future.

Quick shout to the raffle winners, I got three drawings out but the last two I'm still working on. I know I planned on posting them all this weekend but time didn't allow that. Thank you for being patient while I get things together. I'm not about half-assing it.

I've had some desire to make collars and harnesses for a while but I've got a problem. What the heck do I do with them after? Because I personally don't have a use for them. I like how they look but that's it. An aesthetic and nothing more.

But if I made them, do you think I could sell them? Mostly for material cost plus shipping. Just so I could play around with making them but not a business venture. I want to try my hand at simple designs and get into some frilly, cute shit.

Just because I can. Oh well. If I do make anything, I'll be sure to post it anyways.

Right now I'm putting together tier badges and while I'm at it, I'm making them sticker quality. They're sort of random for which ones I'll finish next. I've already completed Void since it was easy.

I'm planning, once I have them complete, to send them to my Patrons. You get one for each tier. For example:

Tabby gets Tabby sticker.
Persian gets Tabby, Calico, Tuxedo, AND Persian.

More reward for higher tier. It'll be a one-time reward for backing so I won't give a duplicate sticker for those that leave and return. But I WILL send additional higher tier stickers if someone were to back more.

They would get sent after the first month of backing.

For now, I'm working on drawing them up and figuring out what size I want them to be. Because I might love a big sticker but if it's too big, it'll be obnoxious.

I haven't been online much in the past year. I've been trying to be present more but I found it very hard. I'm getting all of my things together and I'm going to try and organize it all.

So I've got links to everything in my profile already. Now I'm just working on getting all of those accounts prettied up. And at the same time, I'm planning out a new icon to use across them all as well as banners and icons. I hope you're ready for me to jump into the deep end.

Let me know what you'd like to see from me in the future so I can work on getting it in.

My stylus is essentially useless to me now. Ten minutes into drawing and it has lost any functionality in my range for drawing. It only seems to work close to a 90-degree angle from the screen. No idea what happened because I was just sketching. I've been hard with it before but this was not one of those times.

I'll have to get a new stylus...

I have this problem of starting a ton of things and only finishing a few. I've been trying to finish more and more and I think it's going to come down to starting the same thing a few different ways until it works out.

Like how I've wanted to make an art doll many times. But it just seems so hard to pull off. But I found another way that might actually get done. IF I can manage a new way. And this new way is by trying to use Blender again to create a 3D model, use a service to print it, and then make a mold myself from it. Then I can make a bunch of the head/feet and in different colors as I want without more interaction from 3D printing services. I'm also not so great with fabric a lot of the time despite sewing shirts, so I want to felt the body around the armature.

Who knows. If I make anything in the process, even just the 3D model, I'll post it up. But I'm not sure how far I will get.

I've been trying so hard to draw more and every so often I get a burst of creative juices. But they either aren't the kind I hope for or at an awful time.

I work a job that has 12-hour shifts, and being fond of at least ATTEMPTING to get 8 hours of sleep, sometimes there's nothing I can do on work days. So the weekends are where I try to get it all going. Last weekend was pretty decent and I drew a few things. Since then I've had trouble drawing. I've done some coloring and tweaked some lines but dang, trying to get a sketch to look like more than garbage has been kicking my ass since last Friday.

I am always tired. But I will keep trying because I want to get better.

Today I'm gonna set up some patterns and try to make hats. You know, the fleece ones with ears? Yeah, those. But I'll probably make mine with dropped sides instead of like the normal beanies you might usually see. Maybe later I'll make beanies, too, but for right now this be what I wanna do. And since I've already got some fleece, I'll probably practice with just solid colors.

It's something to do while I wait for my YCH auctions to end.

I have learned how to do a lot of things this year from turning paper into a bound book, and I mean straight up sewing it together, to actually taking wool and making yarn I can dye and turn into a project, to sewing my own plaid shirt.

My resolution this year was to finish more projects and while I’ve started far more than any other year in my life, I’ve created so much and learned to do things I never thought about before.

To many, I’ve just been… gone. But I was spending what of my free time I had going “I want to learn how to do something” and taking advantage of the fact I can learn anything just by going onto Google.

And I guess this post is to tell you that if you want to make your resolution something creative, make it something easy and go for it. Learn how to sew, draw, play music, finish a game, read books, write a story. Know yourself now and say by 2020, you want to be a little better. Because one step at a time is still a step.

This next year I want to learn more. Whether that’s taking a class towards my degree or teaching myself with the help of others online. I might as well start now, right?
