Spirit Day!


It’s been decided. On October 20th, 2010, we will wear purple in honor of the 6 gay boys who committed suicide in recent weeks/months due to homophobic abuse in their homes and at their schools. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag and that’s exactly what we’d like all of you to have with you: spirit. Please know that times will get better and that you will meet people who will love you and respect you for who you are, no matter your sexuality. Please wear purple on October 20th. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and schools.


I'm posting this here because I think this stuff is important. I'm sure a lot of you have seen on the news about those who have recently committed suicide over being teased for being gay--they're not even a fraction of those who turn to that as a result. I figured it'd be a good idea to post this here because the furry community is large and generally very accepting of sexualities and I would hope would want to be a part of making Spirit Day happen. So, please wear purple on the 20th! And please repost this message in your journals, too! This is the image that has accompanied this message on other websites, in honour of a few of those boys.

So I'm sitting out in front of my college (SOWELA) and  syn-aldreck is on his way to pick me up for lunch just me and him because it's our 16 month anniversary (: we're going to Raising Canes to eat some yummy chicken ((((: this is our first date by ourselves (,: it's going to be so cute and awesome I can't wait :,D lol he's never been back here so he doesn't exactly know where my college is xD hopefully he'll make it soon ; u ;. I have confidence in ya babe !!! Even though I know where it's at, I don't memorize street signs ot exits or anything ; - ; so I couldn't help him much. X,D And now we play, the waiting game.

Well thigs are going good. I'm passing algebra with flying colors and Me and Al are really good again and I mean a few stressful things but we won't let it get to us...I'm about to get into WoW with him as soon as we can get my 6 year old desktop to work...It's saying the harddrive failed... t-t;;;; We are gunn check the other spare computer we have...But luckily my dad works on computers at a plant for a living so he can most likley get another one ... I'm really hoping to get this set up so I have more space and an actual desk to work on instead of laying on my bed with my tiny ass laptop. I might have to buy a wireless card though...The wire/network router is on the exact opposite wall that my computer is on xD...So wish me luck xDDD I really can't wait to get into WoW. I've always wanted to get into it I could just never really afford it until now and I could never get it to get a high enough signal strength where I used to live. OH AND ALSO is giving me his old xbox when his new ELITE *cries* comes in. He went ahead and ordered him a new one since his old one is well...really old xD it's a 360 but it's getting slower and slower..It still works well he just has an ac adaptor on it and everything xD He takes such good care of it ; _ ;...Anyway, I'm getting that and WoW and hopefully these games will finnally give me some peace and everything from anything stressful...
