I've been debating on if I wanted to try my hand at political art for years (At least I think that's what it's still called?), but haven't been sure if I would be good at it or correctly get any messages across?

Man I miss when everyone wore masks and sanitized frequently.
I still do it myself, but it's nowhere near as effective as it had been when everyone else had to as well.
I'm back to being frequently sick, more so because of everyone going to work sick when they shouldn't.
Which sucks because I can't even work while sick even if I wanted to, I feel way too miserable to do anything other than lay in bed and sleep.

I'm getting close to being better, hoping I might be able to brave a shopping trip today because I need food and don't have anymore money to just get delivery.

Just curious as to whether anyone would be interested in that. If I were to ship them, it'd have to be within the USA.

Probably would be priced $20 per hour spent making it so like the recent one I did took about 12 hours, so it'd cost around $240 plus whatever it'd cost for shipping.

I've been so mentally exhausted lately with the stress of trying to make ends meet and trying to get more commissions. Things have been so hard lately and I'm tired of trying anymore. I want to just draw for myself.

So for a month, I'm closing my commissions. I won't be taking any new commissions. I'll still work on what I currently owe, but I'm not taking any new orders. I don't want to stress about whether or not I'm making any income. I'm just going to focus on drawing for myself and working on improving my art. After a month, I'll open commissions again for a WEEK, and then CLOSE them again for a week. I'll continue doing that until I feel better. So commissions will open again in the New Year 1/8/2026, in the meantime I'll still upload my art here.

I had caught the norovirus, so I ended up in the hospital.

They held me longer because it turns out I'm anemic and have low potassium.

I'm home now, but wheeeee.

With the changes that have happened, I've been denied foodstamps though it seems in general they're just not going to do foodstamps for people in Nov. anyway.

Tbh, I'm not sure what I'm going to do if things keep going the way they're going. There's not much I can do what with my physical disability and not mentally being able to do other jobs that aren't physical. Art is literally all I have. That is it.

The only other thing I could think of potentially trying is just going all-in on Twitch streams, streaming everyday and attempt to do subathons, set up on-stream commissions. It'd just be strictly SFW.

So a couple weeks ago a lump showed up on my breast all angry and infected.
I ended up needing to go to urgent care to get it checked and they gave me antibiotics.
Basically all this week I've been on and off sleeping because the meds I'm taking makes me drowsy. Plus the placement of the lump causes it to be tugged on whenever I'm upright, so I've been mostly laying down to avoid as much pain as possible.
Yaaaay more time that I'm bedridden /s
Anyway, I still gotta make an appointment with my doctor to either get the lump further examined or drained if it doesn't drain on its own.

I didn't mention details in my previous journal because I didn't want to worry anyone since I didn't know what the lump was yet. (Technically I still don't, but I'm pretty sure it's just an annoying abscess)

But yeah, that's why I haven't done anything these past couple weeks. These couple months have not been nice to me orz.

I'm not sick anymore. Also at the end of my sick I got surprise hives from one of my oddly specific allergies due to a new candy I tried that didn't list having stinging nettle extract in it. So that was fun. This month has been rough. Was sick for a good chunk of it, got hives, and then my air mattress got a hole in it. Need to get super glue to attempt repairing it (granted it still likely won't last very long after that. Once there's a hole air mattresses just kinda die). Since we've been in a heatwave, I've just been sleeping on my deflated bed since my room is cooler than the living room with the AC.

Anyway, slowly getting back into the routine of things. Have felt all discombobulated considering I had been stuck in bed for so long. Blech.

I'm still pretty sick where I can only be up for a bit of a time, so too sick to work on anything at the moment.
I lost 18 lbs while I've been sick just with me not being able to eat much or not having the energy to make anything.
