I'm still drawing, been doing some really decent sketches, but I am having a hard time moving past that stage. I might just start uploading the sketches, just because. Anyone have any tips for the inking stage? Or maybe a couple of different tutorials they've found hopeful? I would appreciate both inking pen tutorials, and digital inking (even as far as tablet setup suggestions)? Been trying for awhile but I feel like I hit a wall.

I needed to update my journal. Still alive, still working a full time soul crushing job with terrible shifts (happy to have steady work though!). Leaves me with less time to do art though which sucks.

However it really please me when I have a show to watch while I work, a show that inspires me to doodle, or just improves my mood in general. OitNB is definitely one of those shows. I highly recommend it!

As some of you may know I recently moved all the way across the country to get out of an emotionally abusive situation, and for the most part I am doing much better. However during the move my scanner was destroyed, as well as my recently fixed laptop. The only working computer I have at the moment is 5 years old with an outdated OS.
Saldy being on my own puts me in less of a stable financial. The money I make at my full time job basically goes to paying off my rent, car, food, etc. I am getting by, but I would like to be able to replace the outdated/broken equipment to enable me to continue evolving my skill.

When my job FINALLY (waiting for my parents to send me paperwork from home) comes through I am thinking about starting to put money aside for a suit. It wouldn't be of one of my existing characters but one I've kinda had rolling around in my brain for awhile now. I figure if I put aside like $20 a week it might not be that far out of reach. I know exactly who I want to do it too, I feel their style would probably capture the character PERFECTLY!

I'll be visiting my 1st Califur this year, I'm excited to see all you west coast peeps! Not sure what days I'll be there because I live pretty close I may be jumping back and forth between there and my apartment.

Hanging out with these lovely ladies , and drinking badass pina coladas. Tomorrow BBQ with and (and the previously listed awesome ladies and more) and then Disneyland the next day. I am pretty pleased.

So excited to be living in Southern California now, visiting with some family atm, but then to my new place for some cleaning and rearranging! I live with this bitch now Once settled in be ready for a flood of art :3

My only complaints have to be to the person who set off the fire alarm at 4am, you sir are an immature douchebag who deserves to be lynched. My second complaint is having to cut the con short due to this epic storm. My cat Gizmo just died. Kidney failure, she was 18 years old so it all happened so quick. This is my 3rd cat this year. 1st some drunk asshole ran over Bad Kitty.
