Trying my best to be as active as possible with online life anymore, as my goal to finally create my own art "business" is getting stronger and stronger. I'll do digital art of course, but also traditional and maybe even make clay models and figures along with my boyfriend! However, because I was so silent for so many years on here and other websites like Deviantart and Tumblr, I have to start over again from the bottom.

I have moved to Florida back in May so I'm still trying to get use to all the stuff down here, like what kind of festivals there are along with what else there is to do down here. I would like to someday visit some kind of art convention since I've never been to one before, but work life is tough. I currently work at a small vet clinic and I work 7am-6pm about 4-5 days a week, but the days are super randomized and are kinda hard to plan around.

However I can't let that stop me from drawing. For the first time in many years I'm excited to draw again, and I'm trying to draw something every day that I have off. I just love it!

Anyway, for those who might still watch me on here, how are you guys doing? Has anything fun and interesting happened lately? Also, have you guys been to any conventions and art shows? If so, what are your favorite ones? I think it would be neat to someday take a trip to one in a different state once I start saving up money.

Alright, so, I've been a little busy job searching lately as well as trying to draw more artwork so that I can both practice and put out some new content. I'm feeling so motivated lately that I just feel like I have to draw every day, which is a massive difference compared to the past few years where just picking up a pencil for five minutes either exhausted me or made mad. I also have a job interview this coming up Wednesday at a vet clinic, which I'm both excited and nervous about, so that means I won't be able to draw as often as I would like.

And now here comes some baaaaad news. I mean, the vet clinic might make me work 12 hour days again, which sucks but what can you do. However, what is worse than that and may contribute to me working really weird hours again... is a cerrrtain bill I have received since moving to Florida.

A week before we left for Florida, I was outside playing with Thor for a little bit just to burn some energy out of him. All I did was just stand in one place, then do little jumps at him to go "boo!" because he had the zoomies like it was nobody's business. When Thor finally plopped with a happy smile, I took him inside and he got a drink. Well I bent forward to sit down at the kitchen table and just as I did so, was stricken with unimaginable pain to where I was frozen and couldn't even speak. My chest felt like someone stabbed me with a knife in the upper left breast and the pain spread throughout and I could barely breathe. The room was only starting to spin because I was barely breathing, but I somehow mustered up enough energy to text my boyfriend that I needed help. Luckily he was just about to get into the shower so he could see my text, and when he came out I just barely made myself walk to the bedroom (the bathroom was attached to the bedroom) and sit on the bed. After trying to speak and the waves of pain not subsiding, my boyfriend took me to the ER because we had no idea what was going on. I knew it wasn't a heart attack, but the pain was so intense and alien I couldn't even figure out what was happening for the 20-30 minutes it was happening. It slowly started to subside by the time we got to the ER and after they did the blood tests and EKGs and put me in a hospital bed did the pain fade away until it left a dull ache behind. My boyfriend and I were in there for at least 5 hours and were only visited by a doctor once for not even five minutes, and he did absolutely nothing but ask a few questions and leave.

So of course I was discharged and was told to go to my family doctor for a followup. My doctor asked me a few questions, listened to what I had to say, and then stood up to walk over to me. She gently felt around the area where I said had a dull ache, and the moment she pressed in the specific spot I nearly passed out (the pain subsided super quickly though). Turns out, somehow someway, I pulled the muscle that holds your ribs in place. I mean, I remember having super tiny pains there in the past as a kid, mostly from band stress, but a pain like that I had never experienced before pretty much paralyzed me and made me feel ill. Now I know that the next time I ever get something like that, I need to put heat on it ASAP and it should go away.

*So my family doctor, who actually used cognitive thinking and critical evaluation to actually guess what the ailment was before actually poking me to confirm it, was about a $50 visit.

*The ER visit where all they did was poke me with needles, give me an EKG, a chest X-Ray, not actually do anything with the information I gave them, and only visited me three times to see how I was doing, was... get this... almost $6,000.

You know what the other fun thing is? My health insurance won't cover ANY of it because somehow it's considered a "preexisting condition!" What? I thought preexisting conditions were something like asthma or what have you, but a random muscle spasm? So anyway, I've been calling my insurance company and the hospital back and forth to try and get this stuff solved and as far as I'm aware, it was settled for an almost $5k bill before the next $1k bill just came for the other day. The $1k bill is to pay that doctor who only saw me for 15 minutes and didn't even lay a finger on me. I kept telling him and the nurses to look at the actual spot I was having the pain, and the doctor thought it could have been a clot in my lungs so he ordered an X-Ray, even though I asked him how I would be feeling something like that in a spot where my lungs aren't even at. I was even guessing a muscle spasm but he was insistent it was lung involved. Guess what? Insurance said that's not covered too and now I've been back and forth with the doctor's office (which is separate from the hospital for some reason) to make sure medical records were sent and all that jazz. Like, what's the point of having health insurance if they won't even cover or DO anything for you. Didn't help that the post office took A MONTH to send the two different letters down, which both arrived a little over a week apart. It's the 21st century, letters should not be taking a month to get somewhere, even if it is across a few states.

SO ANYWAY, what I'm saying is, I DO NOT have that kind of money on me, but my boyfriend said that depending on if the hospital does interest payments, he'll pay off the bill for me and then I'll pay him back every month interest free, which ok isn't too bad. But since my boyfriend and I are living with his parents for a while until we save up enough month to get our own house, his mom wants rent. Ok, understandable. Well, she wants $600 a month from everyone, and if this new job doesn't pay very well then I'm going to be STRAPPED for cash. Like, I don't even know if I'll be able to pay all my bills every month. My boyfriend is trying to talk to her about lowering my amount but she's incredibly stubborn and wants her money.

I feel really bad for asking everyone, but if you could, could you guys maybe forward or share my recent commission price list to get the word out? My Patreon posts are publicly available to anyone but if you want you could support me on there for as little as a dollar per month.

Depending on how, where, and when I get a job (all jobs are about 30 minutes away since we're in the middle of nowhere) I'm going to be dedicating some hours after work to work on artwork. It'll not be too fun for me but I can't do what I use to and just have my motivation die and not work on owed art for months on end. I at least have to work on things a little at a time. I'll dedicate at least one day a week where I do literally nothing so that I don't burn myself out, but I'll do my damnedest to not suddenly go quiet. I want to work on art as a business someday, so I need to get serious about it.




TL;DR: I went to the hospital a week before moving for chest pains and received a $6,000 bill. WON'T BE STARTING THIS FOR A WHILE BUT I'M EXCITED.

Ok so I'm planning on doing THREE short comics based on stories from Carth's world, one is currently called "Origins", another is "Beginnings", and the third is "Bloodlines". These aren't official names yet since they are just mental thoughts and plans now since school won't allow me to actually work on them. I have been thinking on the intros to these comics, such as how certain panels should look and sort of how the story intro should be written. I still have a lot to plan out, but one thing is a definite:

I need filler/cameo characters, but only a specific type.




I need characters/creatures that are considered guardians, or protectors, with powers/strengths that can be anything. They can be good or evil.

EDIT: Since I'm all excited of the vast array of characters, I'm pretty much allowing any characters of yours that you believe could be some type of guardian/protector. The same goes for characters of yours who you would consider to be or are spirits.



They can look like anything and my biggest challenge is to draw specific guardian-type characters no matter how detailed they are. These guardians can even have partners, as in my world every guardian has a spirit that they are destined to protect. Guardians in my world are not considered good or evil, they have free will to choose who they will be guarding. It is up to the guardian if they want to serve a spirit who either travels a light or dark path, and it is the guardian's choice if they no longer want to continue protecting their partner.

These characters will merely be shown as filler characters for specific panels of the story and will not be a true part of the Land of Sora universe. It's not first come first serve as I will choose the characters/creatures that catch my eye. This comic will not be done anytime soon until after school is completely done for me and I won't be posting anything until I have a couple comic pages finished.

The first one I'm thinking on doing is "Bloodlines" which is about a massive historic catastrophe that happened in Sora thousands of years ago. My RP buddy Griffy has written the story out, and was so inspired by it she gave me the OK to edit it and make a comic out of it. Hopefully this'll also attract people to our advanced RP forum or to even read Griffy and I's RP, which is the story that will most likely be turned into a book many years in the future (after some super heavy editing since the earlier posts were during the times where we were still trying to flesh out our characters and their stories).



So if anyone is interested in having their guardian character (and potential partner(s)) have a cameo in my comic, post a link to their application below! Visual references will help me out a ton, but if you don't have a visual reference and you have a description, you can post that below too.

Again it's not first come first serve, as I will pick whatever catches my eye.

I am almost done college, jfc. My graduation date is on May 9th, so I am hoping to god that I manage to pass every single one of my classes so that I will not have to retake any of them. I will have to take an online class over the summer, but other then that I'm home free. God if I could (and had the balls) I would literally take a crap on the office building's front lawn for making me go through so much hell and debt just to further my education.

Don't get me wrong, I learned a whole lot through certain classes I had to take and they really helped me better understand the world around me as well as have a much better and further understanding of the ancient past which was my keen point of interest. However, having to take the "college mandatory" classes such as math, biology, chemistry... classes that literally have nothing to do with my actual major, are what drove me absolutely insane. I don't need these certain required classes that will help me at all in life, yet college says I need them because, in short, they want more money from me. The first two years of college are pretty much a repeat of high school, and that's freaking depressing. Also doesn't help that many colleges don't accept certain transferred credits because they pretty much want you to take the classes at the transferred school so they can get your money.

If colleges competed with teachers instead of wealth, the education system in America would be a ton better and maybe a lot of actual changes to the scholastic problems that have literally been in place since the 1880s-1890s.

I have enough credits to graduate, I just can't get the actual diploma until I complete a biology class that I'm taking at a different school over the summer. I can still do the graduation ceremony, just the diploma will be delayed. So if all goes well with my classes this semester, I should be home free.

WHICH MEANS I CAN FINALLY DO MORE ART DEAR GOD YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BADLY I WANT TO DO SOME ART WITHOUT FEAR OF FORGETTING HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS/STUDYING FOR A TEST.

I will then finish up things I owe with commissions, trades, gifts, etc. and then open up regular commissions that will include "special" commission types that if you buy one from me, your money gets donated to a friend who is in dire need of help. So if you buy a certain commission, your money goes to the friend. I've always wanted to do this but never had the time. I am also hoping that with these commissions I can get the help I need in order to pay off my college loans and car so much faster so I no longer have to worry about them and can then focus on my own life.

I am also planning, after all the owed art is finished, on starting some comics. Some friends and other artists are all starting comics suddenly, and I'm feeling drawn in. xD I have two ideas for a comic: one is based on a history my RP buddy thought up for our RP world, and another is about Carth's ancestor, which I am dubbing "Origins" for now. I have the idea of how I want to set it up, I just need to actually write down a script.

So a while ago I wrote some journals about my friend Griffy who was in a very, very tight and dangerous domestic abuse situation with her boyfriend, who belittles her and makes her feel like nothing. He doesn't hit her, as she is physically stronger then the rat, but the verbal abuse is so bad that even I start to cry when I hear about this stuff. Griffy is like the sister I've never physically met and we've known each other for about 8-9 years now through our passion of RPing. We're even planning on making a book out of our RP someday (still a dream, as it's been a dream of ours for as long as we can remember with one other RP, but it's exciting!). However, her abusive boyfriend is forcing her to do his bidding, and then turns around to ridicule her for doing the things he wanted.

This boyfriend is really, REALLY messed up. Like if I was there I would "accidentally" hit him with a wrecking ball. >m<

Anyways, about the update, I and some lovely donators have managed to raise my friend $500! It's far from her original goal, but it was practically a first goal to be achieved in helping my friend out. She has had this one old truck forever, and for a long while now it's not been working because it needs a few new parts in order to get it running again. The boyfriend refused to help her with it (but he flipped absolute ape shit crazy when she wouldn't/couldn't help pay for his own car), and that truck is pretty much her number one way of getting out of there before things get even worse (although it's been hell for my friend for three years because she's been stuck with him and one nasty/smelly roommate that share the apartment). She has gotten the first check from GoFundMe and had cashed it in, so she's hiding the cash from her boyfriend for now so he doesn't ask why she suddenly has more money in her bank account, and she's waiting for an opportunity to find a good repairman and get her truck fixed.

My friend has also (after months of searching) found a job and is steadily getting some money into her account. It's a janitor's job so the hours and pay aren't super great, but she's been doing so well at her job that her boss is giving her a lot more responsibilities and hours, as well as allowing her to get a ton more time once summer rolls around. She has OCD so she loves cleaning and organizing, so she can't complain. xD

I just like to thank anyone who either has, or will donate to my friend's cause. If I could I would teleport out there, grab her and her cat and everything she owns, and then teleport her back to my place. If only that were possible. This summer, as this is my last semester of college, I'm planning on opening up some special commissions that if someone buys the certain commission, the money goes straight to my friend. Probably $30 chibis like the Chibi Cuddles picture in my gallery or ones that look like the Christmas Gifts or the Happy Halloween! I made. What do you guys think? What else could I do to really help my friend get to freedom? She's sadly tried asking for help to authorities, but they said that unless they had "physical proof" that he was abusing her, they can't do anything. It's so sad people don't understand that verbal abuse if just as terrible as physical abuse, but it's also sad that so many people exploit that in order to make someone else's life miserable. So my wish is to raise her just enough money so that she can move herself out of there and into a much happier life.

If some of you read my last journal you'll know how bad the situation is, but my RP buddy and I have finally found a way to help rescue her from this abusive lifestyle she's currently stuck in.

This forum is an open sandbox RP for literate role players using original characters of any shape and size. We supply the basics of this imaginary, mythical world, and then you, the writer, have the freedom to shape and form the land however you want in order to tell your story. This site was created after my long time RP partner and I were talking about certain things we wanted to do with our role plays, but didn't want to break any rules on the website we were roleplaying on. My friend and I like to go super intense and graphic when it comes to our RPs (high fantasy yo) and with the site we were on we didn't want any kids to stumble on our RPs and report us. Yeah we could have done private messages, but we enjoy sharing our stories to others (that and the private messaging thing didn't work as nicely as we wanted it to). Writing is my passion and I've been doing it wayyyyy longer then I have with drawing, so I wanted to create a site where literate and advanced writers could hang out and push their imaginations to the limits.

Told you's that it's not something to get too excited about, since I'm advertising this on an art website that deals with visuals more then stories.


This is NOT a site for beginners.


The minimum requirement we have for post length is 4 paragraphs (that's 5 sentences minimum per paragraph). We also require that you have at least one character application sheet with the required information within 7 days. On the 8th day if you do not have a character application sheet up, your account will be deleted, this also goes for your writing level. These creatures, characters, and cities can be as unique as you want them to be, but take note on what kind of characters you create and use, for if the majority has problems with them, your character will have to be either deleted or revamped, and failure to do so after a while will result in a warning. The members and staff both have a say on who should stay and who should go with the two top administrators having the final decision. Just know that if a lot of people don't like you, and staff can see why, then you'll be booted. We ain't got no time for drama.

Although this site is unrated, we still want maturity! Don't abuse it or our trust. Again, if you're causing any problems, you will either be given warnings or booted. If you look through our Rules and Regulations you'll see we have a rating system that you must put in your threads' title so people don't read something they'll regret (ratings from E to AO). If you read a role play and it disturbed you, then that's your fault for ignoring the warning and reading it anyway. If you join a role play of a certain rating, then you must obey the rating restrictions. No XXX scenes in an E rated thread. We also have a thing called "Set in Stone" where if a Role Play has this in their first post, that means only the people mentioned can post in that thread. Others can read it, but no touchy.

No video game nor movie adapted characters/creatures/locations from franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, How To Train Your Dragon, Transformers, etc. etc.. You can use species you have bought or were given from other artists/writers, but we need to see proof. NO USING ANOTHER PERSON’S CHARACTER UNLESS YOU HAVE PROOF OF PERMISSION. Stealing someone’s character will result in an automatic ban; we don’t tolerate thieves and trolls. This is a place for original characters only.



Soooooooo... yeah! This is what I've been working on off and on this entire summer when I was either too unmotivated to draw or was so bored I needed something to do. It's not much at the moment since I still want to add art and such to it (can't draw now because of school), but I also want to give it a bit of a test run just to see how well and smoothly things go along. Never did something this big before, so I'll have to see how it goes. xD

Just understand that us Mods can't role play with everyone. I can barely balance three characters with a few more side characters used for story purposes only. So bring some friends! Give a shout out! Spread this journal to the far reaches of the glitchy DA universe. Depending on how things go, I might do a restrictive registration that has people who are signing up type up the four paragraph minimum requirement just to ensure and weed out lesser writers and potential trolls/spammers. That might be a bit of a challenge though because of school getting in the way'n'all. Now begins the nervous wreck of what'll happen. xD

I guess this could be a type of opinion survey, but what kind of religions do you believe in/worship, and why? Is there any type of culture related thing you do during religious celebrations?

The reason why I'm asking about this is because for my story involving Carth, culture and religion is a HUUUUUGELY important thing in order to make the world look and feel more diverse. It's a type of fantasy world with spirits and monsters, and while I do have an actual origin of the planet, I got curious as to what the people would worship since they never met their creator.

So I'm curious and want to see everyone's different opinions and ways of going about. It doesn't have to be a popular religion.

This is is a friendly environment! Don't go bashing any religion, because people are free to believe in what they want. This is mainly to help me get a more personal understanding of individual thoughts.

I'm personally not religious, nor am I athiest. I'm sort of stuck on a "what if whoever I choose to worship isn't really the right god/dess? Will I upset them?" So my confusion on this won't help me get a better understanding personally; I'd rather hear it from you guys!

SAW THE MOVIE LAST NIGHT AND IT WAS ABDOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I NEVER LOVED, LAUGHED, AND CRIED SO HARD DURING A MOVIE, AT LEAST THAT I CAN REMEMBER.

TYPING ON A PHONE IS HARD FOR DA. BUT I HAD TO TELL YOU GUYS THAT IF YOU GET THE CHANCE, GO SEE IT.

I have also heard that if Dreamworks doesn't do very good in the box office for this movie the company may have to shut down because of bankruptsy. Please go support this amazing company who made movies like The Croods and Rise of the Guardians.

If you see this movie prepare to be blown away by how beautifully animated this movie is. The reason being is that Dreamworks, unlike Disney, gives their artists and animators artistic freedom with how the movie should look. Disney is super strict and they don't allow much freedom because of "budget" (which is why Frozen looked so flat ).

SCHOOL'S OUUUUUUT. Well it was out on the 9th but work and being able to actually sleep in kept me distracted. xD

I'm also taking two summer classes this month, which totals up to $2k, so I'm in serious need of some extra cash. That and I bought a new car after hitting a deer (I am so paranoid about deer when I see them on the side of the road anymore omfg).

I don't feel as if I'm too good at backgrounds yet, and they take me way too long to do. I can do, like, a character standing on a pedestal type of thing or on a tuff of grass, but that's about it. Also with the desperation of money for how expensive getting a new car was as well as taking those two online classes for college, doing a character by itself would be a lot faster for me to do.

Soooooo I finally made a separate account for adoptables. So that means no more adopt spamming from me on here, yaaaaaaay~

Also recently on the 4th of April I hit a deer on the way to school and destroyed the radiator and wrecked a bunch of other things on the inside. I was totally fine, the car hit that deer like it was nothing (I didn't even feel the car jerk) and the deer died on impact. The car was 16 years old and still ran like new, could get through ice and snow, but met its demise from a fat deer who was running away from the road safely before changing its mind and doing a 180 suicide leap into the middle of the road. Quickest few seconds of my life but ugh, deer, why.

However I went out with my dad that night (my mom had to take me to school since I couldn't go very far without the car shooting white smoke from overheating, and my dad had to later pick up the car with his trailer) and we bought a new 2014 Sonic 4-door Sedan. THIS CAR IS AMAZING, but holy crap my poor bank account *sobs*. They gave me a loaner car to drive around for work and commuting to college and I got my official car yesterday evening. So now I have a new car, but I'll need to be paying a good amount every month for a few years until it's finally paid off. Good thing I've had an okay job for a few years to help me out a little bit, but I'll need to be dueling a full work week this summer alongside commissions and maybe the occasional new set of adoptables. Any suggestions on what kind of adopts people will be more interested in buying?

My friend named the new car Knuckes, because it's red, and it's a Sonic. Not sure if I'll keep it that name but holy cow I think it may stick. xD

Anyway, if you've probably seen I've updated my commission list (a while ago but jkasf I'm never really on here). Holy hell, are college book prices going UP. It's crazy and absolutely horrible that colleges are doing this. Don't we pay enough to attend classes? ‎ಠ_ಠ

Recently my friend's puppy (who isn't even a year old) suddenly developed some kind of disease where the joints in his back legs are wearing away, similar to that of a dog at a very, very old age. There is a treatment for the surgery, but it's a whopping $5,000! If they don't get the extra money soon, they'll have to put the puppy down. They found it as a stray when it was very young and have had it a few months, and the darling thing is an angel. Sadly because of the pain it's in, it's becoming aggressive.

Felt compelled to make one since a lot of other artists I watch are putting pretty cool sketches on their Tumblr pages. I doodle so much all the time it's crazy, and a lot of it I don't consider art website worthy.

So there's a high possibility that I will be attending Zenkaikon 2013 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. However, this will be my first time at a convention, but my friend is talking me into buying a table and selling my artwork there (we'll be sharing a table). I'm really excited for it, but I don't really know what to expect. Sure I've seen videos and all that, and have seen pictures of Artist Alleys from different conventions, but I don't know what I should sell.

So watchers I have, I need your help! If you've been to any convention, drop a comment below on what it's like to be at one and what people sell at the Artist Alley tables. If you've sold things at Artist's Alley, then what type of prints should I sell? How many prints is too many? Is it good to overstock or under stock?

So many questionssssssss~! *spazz dance*

That's right, I am now starting actual cash commissions. Money and family life have become very chaotic and because of this current economic crisis becoming even more unstable, I'm soon going to have to help my parents pay for my college education, and I don't have a lot of money to begin with.

So I'm doing commissions for now, and see how things will go on from there. I also want to expand on my drawing skills so that I can draw better and faster with more ease. This is my first time actually doing something like this, but here are the basics for commissioning me.


Commission Rules and Info

I only accept payments through PayPal.
I do not accept any other method.

Money must be given up front before I start drawing.
This is to prevent people from jilting artwork, or changing their minds after telling them I finished.

I will draw up to two characters per picture except for character designs.
If the two characters have small pets or companions, I will draw up to one other pet/companion. About the size of a rat; any bigger counts as an extra character. Any extra character is $2 more.

Do not rush the artist.
If you want it done good, then you must be patient. I, like you, have a personal life.

I will not draw sexually explicit or disturbing artwork.
I will not draw fetishes nor anything sexual. I will not draw obscene amounts of gore. Blood and cuts are alright here and there, but too much is not my thing.

I have the right to turn down a commission.
If your commissioned piece is a little too complex for me, or I deem it too... grotesque, I have the right to turn it down.

There are only 3 slots available.
Once I finish a set I will advertise for another round.
