February Chibi YCH is here

I am happy to announce that the next Calendar Chibi YCH is here! February used to be about cold and freezing temperatures where I live, so for this month I thought it would be appropriate to have an ice skating pose. This year it is very much not the case, tomorrow it may be as hot as 18 C° and I am planing to plant some flower bulbs!
My latest re-design is also very exciting, you can find a folder for Mint in my gallery now. I found my original reference sheet somewhere among old files in my archives and was more than happy to dust him off and come up with an outfit for him. It was fun to work with a more fantasy and history aligned character for a change!

OPEN - Canine Adoptables

I have created a set of canine adoptables! I have loved this base for many-many years now and finally decided to use it to create some designs myself. It is so cute and cuddly and just sweet, makes me so happy to look at them! I should have known that I will not be able to resist the temptation, I will be keeping two out of the six designs for myself. I just love designing new characters so much. I am looking forward to name and develop them further!
Please have a look, I am very proud to present these designs! I appreciate comments and favourites, all your support mean so much to me! If you have an idea that would look great on this base in my style, well I have good news for you... I am planning to offer custom adopts using this base, so stay tuned to get updates on this project!

OPEN - Adoptable Fairy Dragon

As you probably know I am re-designing my OCs and have created new chibi and cartoon style drawings of Charles, Faith and Sam so far. I have many more in the works, coming up soon, but now I am writing to tell you about an adoptable! She (pronouns and gender can be changed after adoption) was one of my earliest designs and I do love her wings and colour palette I feel like she would be in better hands with someone else. I am not sure how to give her the best home, so I hope someone else does and I will get to see a lot of awesome art featuring her in their new owners gallery!
I am very excited, I have never hosted a proper all fancy auction before! I hope she gets many bids and in the end goes to a great home, but favourites and comments are also much appreciated as a reply to the COMMENTS post.

OPEN Auction 2024 Strong start

I am happy to say that I am starting 2024 strong. I have created three updated designs for pre-existing character, Charley, Faith and Sam are all standing tall (or short in chibi style) proud in their new outfits and rendered in my upgraded art styles. I have separated chibi and cartoon styles more so that they both can be their own unique things stand out. Now chibis are even shorter, cuter and cuddlier and cartoons are more consistent in their shape language and proportions. Both styles benefit from more shading and details, giving them more interest in my opinion.
I am hoping to familiarise myself with these new styles to a degree that allows me to draw comics or even create short animation with ease. Right now I have to build back a routine in working on my computer, because I keep mixing up what layer settings or file formats I use, despite having all that sorted out before my break. Once the technical aspects are second nature and I have a good solid base of designs on my hand, it will be time to get back into comics!
In the meantime if you would like to support me by purchasing a commission, that would be so great. I hope to be someone who can be a trusted and valued member of this community, creating wonderful art for everyone! It is so meaningful and special when I am approached to draw someone else's beloved character, it is a beautiful experience of collaboration. Also, soon art trades will be open too, let me know if you would like me to notify you when I am available!

I am very glad to have survived 2023 and starting 2024 by returning to this community. In the summer of 2022 after many misfortunes I was hospitalised and spent 8 months in and out of the local psychiatric ward and the rehab center. I had several suicide attempts and no will to go on, having lost my home, my family and even the hope of a career. I believe I was misdiagnosed and mistreated. I am free of medication now and no longer seeing the government appointed therapist who refused to believe that my diagnose might be incorrect.
I believe I am autistic. It is not easy to accept that this might be the case, I come from an abusive background where part of the verbal and emotional abuse was that I was called a "retard" and it was even explained to me that this means that I am behind my peers in development and threatened that I will never be able to live a normal adult life. The latter is unfortunately true. I am unable to live a normal life, but I am seeking an official diagnose, true help, understanding and building a life where I can be my genuine self and succeed.
Being part of this community helped me accept that I don't have to be someone else to make friends or connect to other people. I can be myself and express myself without editing every single word I think of before I speak or type, I don't have to pretend to be someone else to be okay. I can be myself. Thank you for that!

I took a good hard look at my gallery and then at how many watchers I have and made a realisation that I should have sooner but I was very excited. I haven't reached enough people yet to make a Patreon viable, certainly not the way I thought it would work. I am a bit sad about this, but it is okay. I have the page saved and when I see that there is interest and I have the time and resources to make something truly awesome I will open it again!
Sorry about getting so excited and rushing into a new thing!
I also realised that I would much rather do more art trades and commissions! It was so fun to draw ThatBullKrsyK's and BlueSand's sonas and I learned so much from the process! The Chibi YCH I designed for August will be available, and I will make a proper notice for that for anyone interested in getting one (or a few, they are so damn adorable, it is hard to stop drawing them!)

Home after misfortune & adventure

I was released from the hospital just in time to make it to my UK adventure that I have been planning for months now! I visited Brighton & Hove after a brief stay in London, had a ton of fun and met lovely people! I am especially happy to have met people from the UK transgender community and that I could take part of many Brighton Trans Pride 2022 events. I hope to visit again soon!
