Posted 14 years agoBefore I do my big I'M BAAAAACK journal I'm gonna hop back on a bandwagon and fill in a meme ^_^ especially seen as I have a wonderful new boyfriend now ^_^
1. Who eats more?
I'm not sure really, I eat a fair bit but I tend to get full before he does....so probably him. Though you wouldnt know to look at him lol.
2. Who said “I love you” first?
He did, we were having an emotional moment and he just kinda blurted it out. He said it really quietly and then shouted "FFS I just said it" and he hid his face, so I took his face and looked him right in the eyes and said it back before kissing him.
3. Who is the morning person?
Neither of us really. He's better at getting up early than I am but we both have to nudge and help each other get up lol.
4. Who sings better?
I guess thats me. He's amazing on guitar and I really like his voice when he's singing seriously but he's determined he sounds like a chinchilla in a mangle lol.
5. Who’s older?
He is, by about 4 months.
6. Who’s smarter?
That depends on the subject, but in the long run I'd say we're quite evenly matched.
7. Whose temper is worse?
I'd say his. but I have my moments too. He tends to have bursts where as I'll stew on something before blowing up.
8. Who does the laundry?
Me really. Though when we were using the laundrette he carried most of the bags for me lol
9. Who does the dishes?
Usually him unless he's working. Then I'll do it before getting dinner ready for when he gets home ^_^
10. Who sleeps on what side of the bed?
He sleeps on the left by the wall so he has to climb over me in the morning. That way he doesn't get back into bed after his alarms go off so he wont be late for work lol
11. Whose feet are bigger?
His by far lol. Mine are like half the size of his lol
12. Whose hair is longer?
mine, he has a mohawk ^_^
13. Who’s better with the computer?
Me, he doesn't really do anything with computers lol he didn't even know that F5 refreshes the page lol
14. Do you have pets?
yush we currently have 2 cats ^_^
15. Who pays the bills?
mainly him. I tend to buy food and luxurys while he deals with rent and bills.
16. Who cooks dinner?
usually me. he loves my cooking ^_^
17. Who drives when you are together?
the taxi driver lol. neither of us drive atm
18. Who pays when you go out to dinner?
depends, if ive got money I'll pay and if he's got money he'll pay.
19. Who’s the most stubborn?
probably me. but he can be just as bad
20. Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong?
tbh if there's an issue we both admit were wrong when were wrong. otherwise we agree to disagree

it varies. but possibly mine

me, I had them both before moving in with my bf

he kissed me ^_^ we were sat in a beer garden and he pulled me over for a cuddle and kissed me.

25. What did you do on your first date?
im not sure really. dont think weve really had an official date yet. its not really a british thing. we did meet up for the first time on our own and went to a pub before gaming a little at a friends.

we both are. though I cry more

definately him. I'm 5ft 6 and hes at least 6ft
28. Who has more friends?
dont know really. he has a lot of friends but so do i. but we did discover quickly that we have a lot of mutual friends without realising lol

I have an older brother and sister who are both married with children. He has a younger sister and a younger half brother.
30. Who wears the pants in the relationship?
both of us really. we're surprisingly equal

Posted 15 years agoafter planning to make a start back on commissions this week I've had a slight emergency last night. At around 23:00 I was rushed to the out of hours emergency doctors after 6 hours of ongoing back pain.
Now those of you that know me will realise that back pain for me is a serious issue as I only have one kidney and that kidney is damaged due to a past infection that hospitalised me.
Needless to say i spent the night panicing until I was seen. Turns out I've got another kidney infection but luckily caught it early enough to prevent it getting to the severity of last time. so I'm currently pretty much bed ridden and doped up on medication.
I'm gonna try to work through some hand sewing on some commission pieces and try to get some artwork sorted but unfortunately i cant work on any big pieces atm until the infection has cleared

first updates of the year
Posted 15 years agoWell then, HAPPY NEW YEAR and all that jazz. I've had a little while away from my commission work so that I could spend some well needed quality time with my family and indulge in a little gin and jazz over the fetive period hehe. I'm now pretty well rested (ish) and I'm getting back to my commissions so things should be getting done over the next few weeks.
Please bare in mind that my health is a smidge fragile atm and I also have a family and house to look after so please dont expect anything to have been done instantly, I may be good but I'm not wonder woman lol. Also the list below is more or less the order I'm going to be working in as the items I've already started will be quicker to get finished and the people listed higher up have mostly been waiting longer. Thankyou all for your continuing patience, I am truely blessed to have such caring and considerate commissioners and I love you all for it.
I'm still very much closed for commissions untill I've got this lot done and dusted. I have a large commission booked in for February that I will be working on on its own so I may not be taking any more costuming commissions until march/april time. I may take select artwork commissions, but im preferring to not go beyond sketched and inked pieces until my current art work load has been mostly completed (dont know why but ive nto felt like colouring anything for a while now but id best get my pencils out for all these unfinished pieces eh?)
Please note that I am still open for orders of lingerie/adult and fetish items from my store, the catalogue is still in production so if you are looking for anything from handcuffs to sexy santa outfits to full blown bondage kits jsut drop me a note and I'll do everything I can to help you.
Also if you have commissioned something from me but I've forgotten to add you to the following lists (most of you know what I'm like, memory like a strainer lol) please let me know so I can add you as this is also one of my main ways of keeping track of what I've got to do

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
ooh where to start, i made and sold my first fursuit head, took my nephew to a funfair and finally went to camelot!!
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
If Im honest I cant even remember last years resolution lol. This years is to be happy with who I am and to be successful in all that I do
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
It was spent curled up with my mate, wrapped in a furry blanket and watching movies, with a massive mountain of snacks and drink and the last take away of the year
4. Did anyone close to you die?
we lost a few people in 2010. most memorably was my great uncle ken, my fathers dog annie and my sisters dog honey who we lost on the 29th.
5. What countries did you visit?
stayed in the UK as always lol.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
a passport lol!
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
valentines day as it was one of the most romantic evenings of my life

finding my niche in the world and being considered for several fursuiting commissions

not managing my time properly for commissions and letting my health interfere with my work

Spent the whole year battling with depression and other issues, on and off sickness and flu and had a few nasty falls

we lost a few people in 2010. most memorably was my great uncle ken, my fathers dog annie and my sisters dog honey who we lost on the 29th.

christmas!!! giftswap/artswap type thingy

basically an Art/gift swap. I'm offering some semi free artwork in exchange for artwork or xmas presents lol. pretty much if anyone fancies getting me something off the wishlists i post below they will recieve FREE full colour personalised artwork in return.
the story behind this idea is basically due to a lot of health issues my mate, family and I cant afford a gift exchange so my tree is set to be pretty bare. After feeling pretty depressed over this being the 7th crappy christmas in a row (my mate tried to make last year special but health and fincances just screwed us over hardcore) and with several close family members missing due to feuds and death it was suggested that I post my amazon.co.uk wishlists. Thing is I don't like asking for things and I definately don't like begging so if anyone decides that they'd like to get something from my lists I will return their kindness with the one thing I know I can do, a personalised piece of gift art worth at least £5 (also the more spent the more valuable the artwork in return) of course if someone wants to exchange a gift of sometype but is in a similar situation to myself i'd love to do an artswap.

I have a large commission booked in for February that I will be working on on its own so I may not be taking any more costuming commissions until march/april time. I will be taking badge and icon commissions as usual but nothing more than busts until the following lists are practically empty.

Well today I have managed to make a nice dent in my commission work by getting a lot of fabrics cut out and pinned ready for sewing ^_^.
got chases tail prepped, m_woodys paws and tail prepped, and alexs otter tail and legwarmers prepped. I should be getting them all sewn and stuffed and stuff tommorrow then I'll be starting the preps for the other stuffs ^_^

well yesterday i had the joy of nearly burning the house down when i burned my dinner thats one more pan out of action grrrrrrrr. the smell still hasnt cleared.
but to top it off ive broken my god damn mini glue gun!!!! just when in in the last final rush push for gettign the utaku head shipped out.
oh and i almost broke my hand today cos i fell and landed on it. took nearly an hour before i could move my fingers :(
*bangs head on wall* why does life hate me so much!!!!! grrrrr!!!!
and to top it off the money ive transferred out of paypal to the bank for shipping fees hasnt cleared yet grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. things better start going right or im gonna crack some life/karma/things skulls!
please make life be nice again!!

halloween demon costume - not startedbusy busy night *yawns*
Posted 15 years agowell its currently 5am GMT and I'm still awake.
spent all evening and night working on the utakubeta head, started at about half 5pm / 6pm ish and ive just decided to leave it for the night.
managed to get the ears fixed smoothed the top of the head, plumped the cheeks, sorted out eye holes and fitted the jaw. i was hoping for moving but ive only managed semi movable but it should work really nicely for the commissioner.
tommorrow i think ill get some eyebrows carved and sorted, line the eye sockets and add some lips. and maybe get some teeth made. still havent decided if im going to be using the taxidermy tongue i bought as tbh its really hard and kinda creepy lol.
well i guess i should drag my fat ass off to bed and actually get some sleep before the sun comes up lol

Right now I've got your attention hehe I'm in need of someone that has a knowledge of advertising and can help me make a nice advert for here on fa.
I basically need a nice advert to bring in customers to my website to hopefully increase my sales so I can improve the site itself and also increase my range of available products and such. (Also more sales equals more money which means I should be able to get to some cons.)
If you think you can help me with a fab-u-lous advert drop me a message with examples of things you can do and some ideas and stuff
now onto the important stuff lol, I'm not asking for anyone to do this for free. but considering that I am currently very poor I'm planning on paying, whoever can take my challenge, with free artwork and if said person is reasonably local to me irl perhaps some costuming pieces
