Slowly Attempting to Return + Commissions OPEN!

I know there's been some radio silence from this account for quite some time, and, I will explain why that happened, but, first...
I am trying to return here. I have every intention of posting to this account more when I can find the time.
I've been drawing a lot more so far this year than I have in the past couple of years. And I'm really proud of myself for that!
However, the main reason for my silence, and for my lack of art, has been due to the fact that the job I was in, was taking quite the toll on my mental health. I was finding myself to be too depressed, and too exhausted (both physically and mentally), to want to draw.
Which brings me to the next thing. I moved out on my own for the first time at the beginning of December. I'm currently living with my boyfriend, and am working at better place for my mental health than I was previously.
So, with my mood being up, I've been able to relax enough to draw more. Haven't drawn any cubby things recently, but, I'll get there.
I'm going to try and work on a ref sheet for the updated design of my cub 'sona. As the siamese kitten wasn't working for me anymore, but, I think people will like him. My new cub self is super adorable and I can't wait to show him to everyone. <3
All I ask from everyone else, is to please forgive my absence. And maybe for some help to get back into the community?
And now for the part that's really important for me to mention. Although my current workplace IS better than my last one, I did take a serious drop in hours and pay by taking this job. And yes, that's totally on me for rushing out of my prior job, but, I was also trying to move cities, and it was super important that I find SOME work so that I could get out here. I am looking for a second job currently to try and help myself out, but, until then...
I am open for commissions. I'll be open for commissions for a while, honestly. I want to be drawing even more than I already am.

I'm back? Sorta?
Posted 10 years agoHey babs! Been a while, eh?
*tries to dust off his page with his paws and sneezes* Sorry I haven't been around much as of late. I mean, my last journal posted to this account was a year ago! In that last journal, I mentioned that I had been hired at Wal-Mart, and, I'm actually still there! Which is part of the reason I've been major inactive for so long. I'm technically only a part-time employee, but, I seem to get mostly full-time hours, which, yeah, it gets me money, but, it leaves me very little time for much else. x__x
However! Despite the fact that I am crazy busy with work, I am going to make an attempt to be more active here again. Going to update my commission prices and such. Even though I make an okay amount at work, it'd be nice to have a bit of extra spending money, since a lot of my money from work is gonna be going directly into my savings for a while until I have enough to comfortably move away from home. I love my folks and all, but, my boyfriend just moved away for school and I'd like to try and get to where he is as soon as I can (once we get the go ahead from his parents, cause they're a couple of butts who think we won't be able to handle living together quite yet since my boyfriend has to be able to focus on school).
In other news, my birthday is later this month! (October 23rd to be exact!) I'll be turning 21 IRL, my 'sona will remain 3 however, hehe. But, hey! I'll legally be able to drink in the US? Not that it matters to me that much since I'm Canadian and have legally been allowed to drink for almost two years now. Also will be visiting my mom in Edmonton for a few days starting October 30th! Really excited for that! We were considering flying out to Las Vegas then for a holiday, but then we remembered my passport was expired and won't have the time to get me a new one in time for that.
Aaaaaaannnnnnddddd.... I have no idea what else to say. o3o
If anyone has any questions about what else I've been doing while I've been gone, then feel free to ask. If not? Well, I'll try and get some art up for you babs soon.

Just a bit of an update!

Sorry for going kinda inactive again! I've been busy looking for work, and when I do draw, most of it is just being posted to deviantArt lately.
So, my apologies for the inactivity.
Unfortunately, this inactivity may continue.
I applied at Wal-mart not too long ago, had an interview about a week ago, and yesterday got a call offering my the position I applied for! Which means, depending on my schedule, I may not have much time to be around on FA.
I have no idea what my schedule is going to be like currently, but, I'm hoping that once everything is all figured out and settled, that I'll be able to be around a bit more often.
I had been considering updating my commission info, but, I simply don't have the time to take on commissions for now. This may change.
If you are interested in commissioning me, feel free to let me know, but keep in mind that commissions will likely take a bit of time for me to work on.
In any case, I am still relatively active on dA, and on tumblr, so, if you would like to continue hearing from me, and seeing my art... I'll include a list of places you can find me at the end of this journal.
Anyways, I have my orientation with Wal-mart today, and will be gone between 2:20 and 11:30 (PST) or so. Might be home a little sooner, but, it depends on what time we get out of the orientation.
I'll try to provide another update journal once I've had a bit of time to get into more of a schedule.

Posted 11 years agoI feel it necessary to publicly apologize for not being around lately. I'm dealing with a lot of stress IRL right now and just haven't been feeling very cubby lately, as much as I would like to.
As to why I've been stressed out... well, I just haven't been having much luck with things IRL. I've been looking for work for over a year now, with nothing to show for it besides a few interviews here and there. I try to drum up interest in commissions in an attempt to earn some money (I'm in need of a new laptop, as well as a new tablet, as they both are gradually dying on me + I need money so that I can buy things for my two rats), but, that still doesn't seem to help much at the moment. Hopefully things will be looking up for me soon. I have an interview type thing tomorrow (they'll actually be spending more time showing me around the place, and just getting me to see if it would be a good job for me), so, I may actually have work soon. My fingers are crossed. I really am hoping that this'll be the place to hire me, simply because I would feel a lot better having a job, and my family would be able to relax a little when they don't have to help me with paying for certain things anymore.
I am super thankful that my dad and step-mom are so understanding lately. They know I'm doing my best to find work, even if I haven't been having such a great time actually getting anything yet. ;v;
Anyways, I am gonna be trying to get more active here again as soon as I can. Gonna be nuking all the submissions in my inbox for now, as I'm so far behind I don't want to be sitting here for days trying to catch up. OTL
In any case, look forward to some new stuff from me in the next few weeks! <3

What do YOU want to see from ME?
Posted 11 years agoSo, I've been here for a little while now, and so I thought I'd ask. What do you all want to see from me?
What sort of things would you like to see me attempt to include in my gallery? What things should I try to improve on? Give me some ideas if you'd like!
I'm always looking to improve my art, and to try as many new things as I can.
Already on my list is to attempt at some regression and hypnosis type pics. What else would you all like to see me do?
If there's something specific you'd like to see from me that involves one of your own characters, then you're all welcome to commission me. I'm very open with what I'll do commission-wise, so long as it's nothing overly messy (I'd be okay with drawing used diapers so long as it isn't too over the top). Want an adult character in a diaper? Sure! Want a hypnosis regression pic that involves my character Seth? Sure, I can do that too! Anything is up for negotiation, all you have to do is ask and we can discuss things~
But, this journal wasn't to advertise my commissions, not really. The only question that truly needs to be answered is...

Terms of Service
By commissioning me, you are agreeing to abide by my terms of service.
Artist's Rights
♦ I have the right to refuse a commission, whether it be for content, personal reasons, or the idea/concept simply does not interest me.
♦ I have the right to post the image and use it in my art portfolio unless it has been discussed beforehand.
Commissioner's Rights
♦ As the commissioner, you are free to post and share the image as much as you would like.
♦ You may not use the commissioned piece for commercial purposes, this means that you may not:
Resell the artwork (you paid for it for yourself, why would you resell it?)
Sell copies of the commission
Put the image on any product for sale
[In other words, this image is for your personal use only!]
♦ You are not allowed to deface or destroy the commission in any way, such as drawing over top of it, or trying to alter the image to update the character's design (I am super accommodating and will gladly alter the image for you for a small fee if you ask!)
♦ Additionally, you may not trace the image to create a base for other people to color.
Payment
♦ Commission must be paid in full before I will start on it
♦ Payment will only be accepted through PayPal in CAD only.
♦ No refunds will be issued on finished pieces, all payments are final.
♦ If I have not yet completed your commission and would like a refund, please send me a note. If I haven't started, then you will get a full refund. If I have started however, you will get a partial refund so as to pay for the work already finished.
♦ However, refunds will only be available after 3 months of waiting.
♦ I will not accept e-Checks!
Time Taken
♦ The commissioner must understand that I am in fact a human being and not a robot that can just toss out art immediately, the picture will take time, please be patient with me.
♦ Commissions will take anywhere between 1 day and 1 month to finish depending on how many other commissions I currently have to do.
♦ You may ask for a piece to be done by a certain day as long as it is not an immediate deadline, and must have a good reason for said deadline. Please don't set a deadline for me just because you want it to be done by then. An example of a good reason for a deadline would be for an anniversary/birthday/etc.
♦ If requested, I can can notify the commissioner when I begin their picture, and can also provide Work in Progress images upon request.
What I Will Not Draw
♦ Humans/Humanoid characters
♦ Overly messy or adult rated cub art

Posted 11 years agoFigured I'd post a journal since I have nothing better to do right now. There's not too much that I have to say, but, oh well.
I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable here, though, I apologize if there is comments that I haven't replied to. I am kinda introverted and sometimes I don't know how to respond to things. But, I do read any and all messages that I receive. <3
I noticed that I'm getting pretty close to 50 watchers, which, is kind of a big deal to me, because most places my art doesn't get noticed all that much, so.. Once I hit 50 watchers I was thinking I'd do a raffle or something for some art maybe? We'll see what happens when that time comes. <3
And finally, commissions. They are in fact open, and I'd love to start doing some soon if possible! I don't always know what to draw for myself, so, the idea of doing commissions for people excites me! If anyone is interested, then they can either comment on this journal, or send me a note. You can find my prices here. I do my best to get commissions done within a week or two of receiving them (especially since I get so few currently, that I actually tend to get them done within a day or two out of excitement).

I'm actually seriously introverted, and I'm slowly trying to get myself to talk to people more. Please don't think I'm ignoring you, I read all comments I get and respond to the ones that I think I can at that moment.

My Goodness... Hello Everyone!
Posted 11 years agoSo, I had gone to bed pretty much right after I posted that picture last night...
I came and logged on this morning and saw how many messages I had gotten while I was asleep! Which was quite a lot more than I was expecting. I thought maybe one or two people might stop by, but no... I got 20 watchers, and 13 comments while I was asleep, the majority of those comments being welcome messages.
You kind of blew my mind guys!
Anyways, I'll try and respond to everyone personally, but, until then... Thank you guys. <3
It was so nice to wake up to all the kind words, and just... I have never felt so welcomed somewhere before now. ;w;
You're all fantastic and I hope that I'll be able to talk to you all at some point or another!
